(Adonai)- Now, we are going to fight, no powerw, right over there are countless weapons you can choose from.- he said while pointing to a room full of weapons of all types, from swords and spear to haladie´s , khopesh and sai's, all types of weapons humanity has created.
The room was illuminated by some type of orbs that moved slightly diagonally that looked like fireflies, the walls were made by black bricks and throughout the room there were several pillars with exquisite details.
As soon as Kane saw that he started inspecting every weapon, picking them up, seeing the edge of the blades, seeing the structure of every one of them, amazed at the quantity of weapons there.
(Adonai)- Are you going to choose one weapon?
(Kane)- Can I choose more than one?
(Adonai)- Yeah, but isn't your style more appropriate to hand to hand combat?
(Kane)- Yes, but I also had to learn combat with most weapons because of the war and with many people from different continents and kingdoms, I had to be able to fight with and against all of those different weapons so even though I'm better with hand to hand combat I want to see if I'm still good with some of those.
(Adonai)- Hmmm, interesting, ok then, choose your weapons.
Kane started picking countless weapons and carrying them to the arena, each weapon he picked up was lodged into the hard earth of the floor of the arena.
After he was done picking up and lodging the weapons into the ground, they seemed like they were in a type of formation, like it was a choreography of a dance.
Adonai finally seemed excited, he was finally engulfed in excitement, something he never expected to be after he had experienced so much.
(Kane)- So, shall we start?- he said, also engulfed in excitement, like he was back in that battlefield he loved and hated.
The air had a strange feeling of nervousness, while it had many weapons scattered in the ground.
The first one to move was Adonai, who adjusted his strength and speed so Kane could be a match for him.
Kane quickly grabbed a mace to stop his advances, which nearly hit Adonai, if he hadn't dodged by the exact distance he needed to dodge, a feat no regular warrior could do.
Kane swung his mace towards Adonai with all his might, but Adonai easily disarmed him while coming closer, almost hitting Kane with a punch.
(Kane)- So you're going to fight bare handed huh?- he said smiling with excitement.
The moment he said that he jumped back from Adonai and trowed some katar´s (A thrusting dagger with a distinctive H-shaped handle)
Adonai dodge most of them by rolling to the side but one of them slashed his arm, which made him furious but also excited
(Adonai)- I haven't bled in centuries so, be proud "human".
Adonai then jumped trying to reach Kane, but he predicted it and rolled under him letting him reach a naginata (A Japanese pole weapon with a curved blade, requiring skill and precision) which he then used to try to slash Adonai's throat which seemed ineffective due to his speed and reaction time who made him deflect the attack and take a haladie (a double-edged dagger from ancient India, consisting of two curved blades, each approximately 8.5 inches (22 cm) in length, attached to a single hilt) that was lodged to the ground sooner by Kane to attack him while jumping.
The battle soon became exhausting to Kane which made him abandon the naginata to get a long bow to regain his stamina, but the god wouldn't let him get away with and launched the haladie towards the man, blinding the man so he could get a sword from the ground, which he then used to try and finish him off, but Kane, predicting this move, did an oblique kick (An oblique kick is a martial arts technique, often seen in MMA, where a fighter aims a linear, somewhat angled kick at the opponent's knee or thigh, with the goal of hyperextending or damaging the joint) which made Adonai lose his balance and letting Kane do a roundhouse kick (A roundhouse kick is a powerful striking technique where the practitioner rotates their body and swings their leg in a semi-circular motion to strike with the shin or instep. It's a versatile move found in many martial arts, known for its speed, range, and potential for significant impact) to try and finish him off.
Adonai's reflexes luckily acted in the right second which made him duck under Kane's leg, which he then tried to slash the man's leg.
Kane, in this difficult situation and stance launched himself back which avoided the god's attack.
Kane then picked up the nearest weapon to him, a khopesh (an Egyptian sickle-shaped sword that developed from battle axes) which he used to slightly slash Adonai´s knee.
Adonai was furious, and started to unleash an explosive combo, using the weapons he found in the ground with martial arts which Kane had never seen, that soon made his body covered in cuts.
Kane got in a defensive stance and finally used his deadliest weapon, his body. He soon started running while picking up things from the ground while Adonai followed him, when he found a weapon he didn't want to use he would either throw it against Adonai or fight against him for a short period of time and run to find the weapons he wanted.
After a few minutes of a cat and mouse chase Kane stopped while Adonai was still chasing him like a bull, but, what Adonai didn't expect was that Kane had already equipped metal gloves and metal chin protections, which made his kicks and punches deadlier, Kane soon delivered a side kick that made Adonai almost vomit from pain, due to the fact that his kick wasn't just powerful, but it was covered in metal and the god was still running towards Kane, making it the perfect chance to deliver a powerful kick that might chance the course of the battle.
