"Good morning." I passed Bella a glass of water and sipped my coffee.
She stared at me. "You look awful."
I scoffed. "What a bold thing to say to someone who brought you a glass of water."
She stretched out on the sofa and patted her stomach. "Didn't sleep last night?"
"Thanks to your snoring. You should really get that checked out," I teased.
She arched a brow. "Quite a bold thing to say to someone who offered you a place to sleep last night."
I smiled. "Thank you, Bella."
She gulped down the water and set the empty glass on the side table.
"Did you have an argument with Damien?" she asked.
I sipped my coffee, hiding from her intense gaze. "Something like that."
Her phone buzzed again on the cushion beside her. "That's the tenth time this morning."
She turned to me. "What should I do?"
I shrugged. "Ignore it."
She locked the screen and stared at me. "Want to talk about it?"
I shook my head. "Not really."
"Okay."
