Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: Coral

Victor looked down at Capone Bege, who lay sprawled on the ground, but he hadn't let his guard down.

Although Capone Bege was very secretive at this time, how could Victor, who had read the manga, not know his abilities?

Capone "Gang" Bege, who would later be known as one of the "Worst Generation"

Supernovas alongside the protagonist of the era, Monkey D. Luffy, had a bounty of 300 million Berries. He was a Castle Man who had eaten the Castle-Castle Fruit. This man had strength, brains, and guts! The mere fact that he dared to plot against the Yonko Big Mom and managed to escape unscathed meant he was no ordinary small-time character.

His Devil Fruit ability was also very interesting: the Superhuman-type Castle-Castle Fruit, which combined space and defense. He could form a castle within his body and store living beings and objects inside, and his lower body could transform into a tank for rapid movement.

In the manga, he could even transform into a giant castle man, with such strong defense that even Big Mom found it difficult to break through immediately.

"Protect the boss!" "Grab your weapons!"

Chaotic shouts came from within Capone Bege's body, and then figures leaped out of Bege, instantly numbering in the hundreds, surrounding Victor and Bege.

As for Shahm, the "dead snake," whose blood formed a small lake beneath him, surviving so many gunshots without being turned into mincemeat was a testament to his strong physique during his lifetime.

"Mr. Bege, it seems you have no intention of surrendering?" Victor looked around, then lowered his head and gave Capone Bege a gentle smile: "How unsightly."

"Cough cough... You're the one who should surrender! Your forces are nowhere near ours!" Capone Bege slowly stood up, spitting out the extinguished cigar from his mouth, glaring fiercely at the blonde young man in front of him.

It was this young man, just barely 17 years old, who had only recently eaten a Devil Fruit, yet had already thoroughly defeated him and Shahm, two veteran fighters. But he was too arrogant, which gave him and his subordinates an excellent opportunity. With a single command, all the muskets would fire instantly, and he wouldn't be able to escape even if he had wings!

"Victor, I admit I underestimated you. Your combat talent is the greatest I've ever seen. Come and assist me! Together, we can unify the West Blue!" Capone Bege's sinister voice held a hint of sincerity. He was truly amazed by Victor's talent; if he brought Victor under his wing, he was confident he could sweep across the entire West Blue.

"Heh... Mr. Bege, why don't you come and assist me instead? You might make an excellent warehouse manager." Victor looked at the short, stout man opposite him with amusement.

"You have a death wish..." Capone Bege's eyes turned cold. He turned away, disinterestedly waving his hand: "Forget it, kill him. As for that girl, capture her and send her to those officials; I know a few who have a taste for that."

"B-Boss?" The subordinates holding guns around him looked at Capone Bege's back with hesitation.

"What's wrong? Do I need to teach you how to kill someone?" Capone Bege was somewhat displeased and turned to look behind him, only to be stunned.

The person was gone.

At the same time, an angry voice came from above: "Shorty! Do you really think Perona-sama doesn't understand what you, you fat pig, are talking about? Disgusting! Die!!"

"Mini-Ghosts: The Grateful Dead!!"

Everyone looked up in panic, thousands of mini-ghosts densely packed the sky.

Then, it rained!

Mini-ghosts, one after another, began an indiscriminate bombardment of the battlefield, completely disregarding their numbers. Lose a hundred, Perona would create two hundred! Lose five hundred, Perona would make another thousand!

Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!

As soon as the explosions began, Capone's gang instantly lost half their numbers! Under the continuous, chaotic explosions, no one could escape.

It wasn't that no one tried to shoot Perona in the sky with their muskets, but all their shots were like mud oxen entering the sea, making no splash at all.

As for Capone Bege, he received Perona's special attention; he alone was subjected to endless bombardment from hundreds of mini-ghosts! Even if Bege's body defense was superhuman, he was still spitting blood from the corners of his mouth.

The bombardment lasted for a full half-minute, and the town center had been completely razed to the ground. Fortunately, when Victor and Pippin started fighting, almost all the surrounding residents had already evacuated, so there were no additional casualties besides the unfortunate cadres who were holding the line for Pippin.

Amidst the swirling smoke and dust, Capone Bege's luxurious black suit coat was now tattered like a large rotten rag, and there wasn't a single good piece of flesh on his body. One should remember that he had endured nearly ten thousand mini-ghost bombardments; even ten thousand mosquito bites could half-kill someone.

Behind Bege, in the ruins of a civilian house, a zipper appeared on the wall inside the house and slowly unzipped. Victor calmly stepped out from within.

The most basic ability of the Zip-Zip Fruit.

Nylon Zipper: Safe Door.

When surrounded, Victor directly opened a zipper door from beneath his feet, then stealthily made his way into a nearby civilian house, calmly watching the "bomb rain."

He gave a thumbs-up to Perona in the sky, then slowly walked towards the barely standing Capone Bege, rolling up his sleeves.

"Mr. Bege, I am now going to make you an offer you can't refuse."

He pulled out a folded piece of paper and a fountain pen from his breast pocket and handed them to Capone Bege. The latter opened it suspiciously and his face changed drastically after reading only a few sentences, but before Bege could curse, Victor raised his index finger to interrupt him.

"You cannot refuse the conditions I propose. It's either your signature or your brains left on it." Victor's index finger lightly pressed against Bege's forehead, and a metallic gleam faintly flowed from his fingertip. Bege had no doubt that if he dared to say no, his head would immediately have a hole in it.

Capone Bege opened his mouth as if to speak but then closed it dejectedly a few seconds later. He angrily picked up the fountain pen and signed his name on the stack of papers.

"An excellent judgment, Mr. Bege." Victor smiled gently: "Then, the 'Suleiman Family' is hereby dissolved, and the 'Capone Gang' voluntarily and unconditionally joins 'Coral.' From now on, there will only be one voice in the West Blue underworld: 'Coral'!"

At some point, members of the "Coral" gang had filled the surroundings. They looked on with admiration, all placing a single hand on their chests and bowing deeply to Victor, shouting loudly: "Greetings, Boss!"

Capone Bege also trembled and bent at the waist, asking softly: "...Boss."

Navy Captain Krone, who had witnessed everything from beginning to end, felt as if he had just witnessed a significant moment.

The new king of the West Blue was about to rise.
