Chapter 9- Divine Crafters
After entering their room Nathan and Athena sat on the bed. "Nathan that was kind of a shock what Sophie said. I could guess she sensed how strong you were after you released your aura in the alley."
"Yeah it took me a second to think of a response, but I'm glad Aura went with her to keep an eye on her. She must be going through a rough time."
"Yeah I know, I have seen the humans do many terrible things since becoming their patron Deity. I'm glad the game system shows titles of crimes like murder and so on. It will quite often lead to many of these scums being sentenced to death."
"Yeah, when we get back can you investigate how many of the higher brass of the kingdom has become corrupt? I know we all agreed to not step in needlessly but I would much rather not have humanity's newly formed and only kingdom rot away due to a few scummy individuals. I have seen the different races doing horrid things but it's quite different from seeing them in person."
"It's because they have free will, even in your original world people committed crimes. They have only recently left the Stone Age and since we advance them artificially they will still have a lot of those tendencies."
"Yeah I knew some things like this would happen but I still treated this world as a game. Even though I knew it wasn't but it was so similar to the game on my phone I couldn't help but think of it this way. I'm glad I came down it gave me a change in perspective."
Getting hugged by Athena we began to kiss and Athena whispered in my ear "Let's get these bad things off your mind!"
Auras Perspective
"B b Big sis Auura, whho are youu gguys you arre ttoo strrrong."
"Well we are Athena's apostles, we have been granted some power by her to fulfill her will. Nathan is our leader and husband."
Looking a bit shy"Ssso yyyour m m married t t to bbb big bro?"
Aura's face said with a happy smile "We were childhood friends but we were separated for a while and after reuniting we got married later on." Saying in an inaudible voice "Even though we haven't had our official ceremony yet. "
As Aura continues in a cheerful voice "I met Elena (Athena) and introduced her to Nathan as a mistress since we got on well."
While looking at Aura in surprise she said in a confused tone. "W w what iis iit normal tooo wwwant hhim tto yyyour ssself?"
With a confident tone aura began to explain. "Yes I do want Nathan to myself, however, my mother taught me that men of power will have multiple wives. It is better to have women who know their place and I can get along with or it will bring tention in the family."
While taking mental notes Sophie nodded and agreed.
After leaving the room we met back up with Aura and Sophie in the hallway to go to the dining hall. After a brief conversation and Aura puffing her cheeks after she realised what we were doing while she was busy dealing with Sophie.
"Later it is my turn Nathan, I won't forgive you if you don't!" With Aura still puffing her cheeks, I patted her head and kissed the side of her face, and promised to spend some time with her. Looking satisfied she hugged onto my arm while Sophie looked awkwardly.
After sitting down inside the dining hall at the head of the table sat the queen. "Hello, divine envoys. I hope this humble meal will be to your taste. This meat is from a level 30 monster our knights hunted."
Nathan looked at Queen Eliza "Thank you very much, your Majesty. I can't wait to taste this lovely meal and I'm sure my companions agree also. I hope to be able to put the past events behind us and work for a better future while we are here."
While looking surprised Queen Elisa nodded her head. "Yes, that sounds like a good idea Envoy Nathan. Now let's get onto the topic of why you have come here?"
With a wry smile, we started our conversation.
Nathan – "We wish to activate our KI so we wish to use the knights training grounds, and I need to meet the best jeweler and blacksmith you know. I have a lot of rare metals on me and I wish to make a few accessories for my companions. "
Queen Eliza- "What would those accessories be? I don't mean to pry into your business but many craftsmen specialize in only a few things. We use several different craftsmen, one for swords, one for armor, and several for accessories. Metalwork is still quite an new industry to us and many of the craftsmen keep most of their methods secret. "
Aura- With a blushing face "That makes sense, I'm not sure about the accessories Nathan wants but we want two sets of armor. One leather set of armor and one set of scale armor. We also want three mages staffs, three swords, and finally three spears. Elena (Athena) and I wish to buy some magic stones."
Nathan- "I wish to get three bracelets and some other small accessories made. I can show you the designs in private later. I have them drawn on paper with some instructions on how to make them."
Queen Eliza- "What is paper is it similar to wood tiles or animal parchment?"
Nathan- After thinking of a quick lie. "Oh it's a special product from one of the villages to the south."
Athena- "It's a shame we can't get any more since the old man died. He took his secret of making paper to the grave. We only have a few pieces left." Athena gave Nathan a wry grin after covering up his mess.
After a few more minutes of talking about the fine details on our stay here, a maid walked over to the queen and whispered in her ear. After a few minutes, the hall's doors opened and a girl around 15 years old walked in. After looking at Sophie sitting next to me a worried face appeared on her face.
Saying in a worried voice "Hello my lords, I am molly I have come to your summons. I hope my sister has not coursed any issues."
While looking at the two knights behind molly with a glare Queen Eliza stands and asks Molly to take a seat. Molly sat down keeping her worried face while giving her sister a few glances. Watching her sister happily talking to the girl next to her made her feel more at ease.
Queen Eliza- "It's ok child, you're not in trouble! My guest Sir Garner saved your sister from a rogue Knight. After executing the knight we decided to seize his assets and grant them to your family as compensation. I will also give you the rank of Barrett as the kingdom's apology for us not finding out about this matter sooner."
Molly- "My lady this is too generous for a peasant family like us, we are happy that you have spent your precious time helping us."
Queen Eliza- Letting out a small chuckle."Hehehe, it's ok little molly please take your compensation, or my guests will probably stay unhappy with me." Eliza glancing at Nathan and his girls.
After a while of talking they left the hall to go to bed. Nathan, Aura, and Athena shared a room while Sophie and Molly shared a room. Even though maids prepaid rooms for all of us after the maids found out Aura, Athena (Elena to maids) and I are partners they allowed us to share a room. Sophie and Molly felt more comfortable sharing a room so they stayed together.
The next morning in the queen's office
Nathan had gone to show some of the designs for the accessories he wishes to be made including 2 very finely designed rings. Nathan found out about a feature he didn't know was in the system. There are group chats and forums. After joining the crafter chat group.

GoddessVictoria- Welcome Genesis, it's kind of unusual to see someone who hasn't added something about being a god in your name.
Genesis- I thought it would be redundant since we are all gods.
GoddessVictoria- Yeah true! I guess you're a new god, I haven't seen you at any of Zeus's meetings for the people in his faction.
Genesis- Yeah I'm new I have only been doing this for a few months now.
DivineEmperorZong – Haha so I guess you came here because you need help with something? You're in luck since @Goddess Victoria and I are experienced mid-ranked creator Gods. So we are pretty experienced with most forms of crafts.
Genesis- it's nothing much I just wanted two engagement rings design. Two of my goddess have been planning a wedding for us in secret and I wanted to get a nice practical design. I was hoping it would work for runic magic and game system that has some sort of effect. I don't mind spending a few points, but I only have a few thousand right now.
DivineEmperorZong- Only a few thousand… Your new right you would be lucky to have a few hundred???? Where did you get them from?
GoddessVictoria- I assume you have already purchased some basic systems from your previous comment. Who is your parent deity I guess you got it from them?
Genesis- are a few thousand points that great?
GoddessVictoria- No not really when you reach higher levels of civilization especially the galactic ages, but since you are still new it makes a big difference. Even if you have quickly fast-forwarded you won't of unlocked too many achievements, nor have a large population max 100 million If you have a fast reproducing race and you have been guiding them heavily.
GoddessVictoria- Who is your parent???????!
Genesis- Alright Alright! He didn't tell me his name and he quickly sent me off. But his name on the network was GodOfBeginnings

Genesis- He did mention that while acting a bit senile.
GoddessVictoria- Are you trying to get us in trouble he is the Zeus we were talking about earlier. The head of our faction. I assumed you were one of the high-ranked god's children, not his! If your lieing you could end up dead you know?
DivineEmperorZong- Just confirmed it! He is indeed Zeus's child. I messaged him to confirm he was his child and not an impersonator. We got told to treat him nicely and help him out where possible.
GoddessVictoria- When was the last time the head even created a new child?
DivineEmperorZong- At least 400 years maybe more?
GoddessVictoria- ok ok, @Genesis I will give you a freebie for your two ring designs since it's very simple. I will even throw in a Rank 2 rune pattern on each of the rings for you to use on it. I will add it on a different sheet. Please give me more details on the girls. Hair, eyes, race, things they like, Hobbies?
Genesis- I don't know why you're making such a big deal but thanks for the free designs @GoddessVictoria. One's a high elf deity with blond hair and golden eyes. She loves magic and she loves plants. The second girl is human and she likes tinkering with inventions her race makes to improve on them. Black hair with golden and red eyes. She is also the goddess of wisdom for her race.
GoddessVictoria- Come back in a few days and I will have come up with a design. Just invite me to your wedding. :p
DivineEmperorZong- Yes, sounds like fun invite me also. I will bring a nice gift with me.

After opening the documents with instructions on how to make the basic rings I was shocked. They were beautiful. Auras ring was like a twirling tree wrapping up a gem. And Athena's ring was also amazing. Her ring had two thin rings rapped around with Ivey leading to a book holding a gem on top. Both Aura's and Athena's ring has a analyze rune Tier 2 and Storage Rune Tier 2 which I was surprised about. I was guessing Victoria may put a rune on each, but it turned out she decided to just design the rune pattern for me probably knowing I would attempt to combine them anyway.
Genesis- Thank you so much, and they are amazing designs. Even though you have put down how a primitive civilization could construct them I just hope my people could do a good job. If worst comes to shove I will just fast-forward a while.
GoddessVictoria- Haha, I'm glad you liked it. Remember to invite me to your wedding. Remember you will have to engrave the runes on it yourself since it won't be good for your world to see the too advanced runes.
While giving a slight bow Nathan looked at Queen Eliza. "Good morning your majesty, here are the designs. I wish to keep it a secret from my two companions."
Giving Nathan a puzzled look she asked a question. "Oh, it's a gift for them?"
"Oh yes, I forgot the goddess has started a new ritual when someone wants to get married they can use rings as a symbol of the marriage. The rings represent eternity and are the symbols that the couple's wishes to stay together forever. "
With a happy smile, the queen nodded. "That's a sweet ritual. I will have to get one made and designed for me and my husband. He has been away to the frontier recently working on building a new city there."
This is the day Nathan started the tradition of giving rings in his world.

Sorry again, there was no upload last night. Like you probably know if you have read my previous chapters. I have terrible internet, in my area, they are doing work to it and it tends to keep going down. I hope the work will be over soon since we paying for high-priced internet which is dog ****! I just think they just like to drink my tears since when I often phone them to complain the company basically tells me that's my issue. haha
