Looking closely .. the caller was my aunt.. Jake's mom ..

"Hello!!! Hello!! Ada!!".. her voice came from the phone ..

Jake didn't seem to slowdown as he continues to pound me from behind....

With so much effort ... I struggled to end the call ..which I successfully did ..

... I was currently in my room on call with Victor .. the guy I met close to the pharmacy the other day. ..

We have had some talks the previous day ..and right now he was pleading with me to come visit him tomorrow ... Which I declined .. telling him I wont be chanced due to me going to shop tomorrow....

I later told him I will call him if there was later a chance for me to visit ..

I was still on the call .. when I heard my aunt's voice from the living room ..

Actually I have been avoiding my aunt since she came back .. I have been in my room .. as I didn't even know what to tell her. .

She called from the living room .. I could feel the anger in her voice ...

"Ada think think think .".. I said to myself as I pace around in the room .. thinking of a lie to cook up ..

One thing I am certain is that .. my aunt is very angry right now .. as she only calls me adaobi anytime she was angry with me ..

"Adaobiiiii !! .... " Her voice came again .. ..this time louder than the previous ..

"Yes aunty. . " I answered .. as I walked out of my room ..

Immediately I entered the living room... All eyes were on me ... everyone was present in the living room ...

My aunt was sitting on the three sitter couch..Jake was sitted on the one sitter couch ..

While Jessica was currently lying down on the two sitters she was formerly on her phone buh paused looking at me as she saw me walk in..

"Ma.." I answered as I walked to the center of the room ..

I jst kept quiet .. thinking of a way out of this ..

"If there is any foul spirit possessing ur body .. tell it to leave u now.... Or I will teach u that this is my house and I won't tolerate nonsense. ." she said raising her voice ..

"Will u shut up " she yelled ..stoping me from talking ..

I was really embarrassed .. it was jst as if the ground should open let me enter ..

"Mom mom mom. What's all this about .. u ain't even allowing the girl to talk " .. Jake suddenly spoke ..

"Allow her to talk ??.. I clearly heard everything through the phone .." .. she said ..

"Mom wat are u saying .. see mom .. when u called yesterday .. I was the one with Ada's phone .. I borrowed it... As mine was having network issues.. I needed to workout.. and I needed an online guidance so I used her phone ..

I was currently doing jump and clap when u called .. and I mistakenly picked up the call with my legs .. I quickly ended the call as it was interrupting the network making my lessons skip ..

And besides ... When I was with the phone Ada was asleep in the living room..." Jake narrated ..

" Yes Mom that's true .. I saw Ada sleeping on the couch here in the living room when I was goin out yesterday.." jessica added ..

"Mom I'm really disappointed" Jake said as he stood up and walked out ..

Jessica followed shortly .. I could see my once angry aunt now had an apologetic look on her face ...

"Go to ur room Ada ." My uncle said ..

I turned around and walked to my room ..

'gosh I can't believe Jake just saved me ... Gosh ...what would I have done .. ' I thought ..

' buh Jake can lie o .. damn ...' ...

The next morning .. I prepared for shop ... My aunt told me she will be dropping me off in the shop ..

On our way .. to the shop .. she started apologising telling me she was sorry for the embarrassment she caused me the previous day .. I jst told her it's nothing ..

She dropped me off in the shop .. and drove off .. of course it was her husband's car she used ..
*
Staying in the shop .. I could see people passing on the road .. the shop was closed to the main road .. so this way it was easy for customers to access and locate the shop ..

I got lots of customers that morning .. around 1pm .. I was kinda bored and then decided to switch on the plasma tv that was there in the shop... I haven't switched it on since... Not like I didn't want to. Jst that I was busy with customers ..

I was watching channel 9.. which was African magic epic on Gotv...which shows only Nollywood movies..

My eyes was glued to the TV screen I didn't notice Jessica walk in ..

" Enjoyment Madam . .. " she said .. bringing me back from the movie world

"Haa Jessica when did u get here."..

"How would u know when ya enjoying urself ... " .. she joked ..

There was a 2sitter couch in the shop .. where Jessica and I are currently sitting and there are about 3more white plastic chairs .....

" Oh .. is that the favor ?.. " she asked .. as I could already see she was enjoying the movie ..

there was power and even if the power went off .. there is a big generator in the shop and she can easily .. turn it on using the key ...

I was putting on a black skirt .. and a big blue shirt .with a black purse in hand.. I wasn't having any make up on ..

I dialed Victor's number .. and he picked up immediately ..

" Hi baby .. " he said ..

"Uhm I'm on my way to ur place .."

I knew goin to Victor's place I will have to pass through our house .. I needed another route. ..as didn't want anyone to see me ..

I stop a bike. .

" Makinde estate ".. I said to the bike man

"Haa ... Ok o .. uhm I no want make u follow front gate ... U go fit follow back gate .? " I asked ..

"Ok ok .. u get change 5h?? .. " I said ..

He nodded..I got on . And we left ..

We got to Victor's place using the back gate which was much more further and stressful ..

I got down in front of the building I saw him sitting down with a friend the other day ..

I saw him standing there at the front of the gate ..he walked over smiled and payed the bike man ..

He hugged me ...and we went inside .. the house and compound was jst similar to ours .. jst the decorations were different.

I followed him as he led the way.. we got to the front door .. he pushed it open ..

Entering the room I couldn't believe who I saw ...I was shocked momentarily. I saw this guy sitting on one of the couches there in the living room ..he was also shocked seeing me .. ..
