Zhaoyan prepared a warm, delicious breakfast, and the three of them sat together at the table. Yichen ate happily, his eyes lighting up with every bite, until his gaze suddenly shifted to Lu Nian's neck. His brows furrowed.
"Lu Nian… are you dating someone?"
Lu Nian froze, almost choking on his food. "What? No! Of course not."
"Then what's that on your neck?" Yichen pointed at the faint red mark that peeked out from his collar.
Lu Nian's face flushed instantly. He quickly tugged his collar up to cover it. "It's… it's just a mosquito bite."
"Really?" Yichen's eyes narrowed.
"Yes, seriously," Lu Nian insisted, his ears red now.
Zhaoyan sat quietly, watching the two bicker with a half-smile, clearly amused. Lu Nian, embarrassed, hurriedly finished his breakfast and stood up. "I'm going to uni. What about you, Yichen?"
Yichen reached for Zhaoyan's hand and smiled sweetly. "Nope. Today I'm spending the whole day with him."
