Little bits of light spun around his fingers like a flowing galaxy.
His stare swept across the great hall, as sharp as arrows, resting on each of the Calamities one by one.
Finally, his eyes settled on Kaido, the ruler sitting high above.
"Kaido-sama," Who's-Who's voice broke the dead silence in the room. "With how strong I am now, I believe I have the right to take a seat among the All-Stars."
As he spoke, he bowed a little bit, leaning forward to look respectful.
But the dangerous feeling coming from him was impossible to ignore.
"I ask for permission to challenge an All-Star."
The hall became so quiet that you could hear a pin drop, almost like time had frozen.
King's giant black wings shook just a little.
Jack slowly blew two puffs of white air out of his huge mammoth trunk.
Jack's cold, serious eyes stared at Who's-Who like icy blades, not even trying to hide his dislike.
Queen tilted his head with a mocking smile on his lips.
The normally cheerful scientist now showed a flash of anger in his eyes as he looked down on this overly confident rookie.
"Worororo!" Kaido excitedly slapped the armrest of his throne.
This made the alcohol from his broken jug splash onto the floor, setting the stage for the coming battle.
"Interesting! So interesting!" Kaido's loud voice echoed through the hall. "How long has it been since we've seen such an exciting show!"
He waved his big hand, his powerful presence feeling like it could flip the whole room over.
"Choose whoever you want! As long as they are willing to fight, I do not mind!"
The faces of the three Calamities quickly turned dark, heavy and angry like gathering storm clouds.
Under his mask, King's face showed no emotion.

Jack watched Who's-Who with cold eyes, looking completely confident.

"I choose..." Who's-Who slowly dragged out his words, his eyes shining with mockery.
Suddenly, he pointed the light blade right at Queen.
"You are exactly who I am targeting, Queen!"
"What?!" Queen's mechanical arm suddenly shot out like an angry steel snake, violently smashing a stone pillar nearby.
Rocks flew and dust filled the air, quickly throwing the hall into chaos.
"You are asking to die!" Queen's voice shook with anger.
His chubby face turned bright red, and veins popped out on his forehead.
He was clearly furious that Who's-Who had chosen him to fight!
Who's-Who, however, was not bothered at all.
He stared coldly at Queen, his eyes full of disrespect.
"A scientist..." His voice was low and steady, each word like a sharp knife stabbing straight into Queen's heart.
"Should just stay in the lab."
As he spoke, the light blade in his hand quickly grew larger, its bright glow lighting up the whole room.
"The position of a Calamity is not for trash like you who only plays with machines!"
"Bastard!!!" Queen's loud roar echoed through the hall, his body shaking wildly with anger.
"I accept your challenge! I will show you the power of science right now!"
Kaido excitedly stood up, his giant body giving off a heavy pressure.
"Good! Use the open ground outside the hall! Let everyone see who truly deserves the title of 'Calamity'!" He looked back and forth between the two of them, full of excitement.
Soon, the shocking news of a Calamity being challenged spread incredibly fast.
Like a giant rock thrown into a quiet lake, it instantly created huge waves, grabbing the attention of everyone on the island.
Many people, full of curiosity and excitement, ran toward where the news came from.

A huge, dark crowd of people kept pouring in from all directions.

A scary picture was already forming in their mind, imagining a deadly virus wiping out the area.
