Chapter 260 - Chapter 260

Nami's eyes widened as she looked around, her expression full of astonishment.

The infiltration scenario she had imagined was filled with intense battles and numerous obstacles,

Yet the current smoothness left her momentarily unable to adapt, an unease rising in her heart as she felt this calm must conceal some great danger.

Robin appeared calmer, her sharp eyes carefully examining their surroundings as she said quietly.

"It seems Big Mom's attack has drawn all the guards away. We need to hurry."

Ron nodded, pulling out a crude map from his chest.

This map was an internal structural diagram of Impel Down he had drawn based on previously gathered intelligence and his profound impression of this place.

His finger slid lightly across the map as he spoke slowly.

"According to the information I obtained, Zoro and Sanji are likely imprisoned on the fifth level. We need to quickly find the passage downward."

The three moved swiftly, their steps hurried yet deliberately quiet as they advanced along the dim corridor deeper into the prison.

The journey was eerily quiet—they encountered almost no obstacles, not even a single guard's shadow.

The jailer beasts had also disappeared somewhere during this chaos, the entire prison seemingly transformed into an abandoned empty city.

After walking for a while, they reached the area where prisoners were concentrated.

These prisoners, long imprisoned in this sunless place, had long been stripped of their humanity.

Seeing newcomers, they immediately grew excited like sharks smelling blood.

They crowded against the bars of their cells, their mouths full of pleas for mercy, yet their eyes revealed greed and ferocity.

Some even tried to reach their bony arms through the bars, attempting to grab the trio.

"Outsiders, actual outsiders! Please let me out, I was wrongfully accused!" a disheveled prisoner cried out, tears and grime mixing on his face, making him appear particularly grotesque.

"Outsiders, what's happening outside?!" another prisoner asked urgently, a hint of panic in his voice.

"Kid, know what's good for you and open this door now, let me out! Otherwise, I'll bury your head in the dirt!" a burly prisoner threatened viciously, the scars on his face appearing even more terrifying under the dim light.

"These two girls aren't bad! Kid, release me now or I'll make you die a miserable death!"

A shrill voice rang out, accompanied by a nauseating laugh.

Hearing these vulgar words, Nami and Robin's faces instantly darkened, fury burning in their eyes.

Nami clenched her fists so tightly her nails nearly pierced her palms, while Robin frowned slightly, her eyes revealing disgust.

Ron shook his head, his voice was icy cold.

"Even after imprisoned here you trash still can't behave. You're just wasting air by being alive."

The prisoners, hearing this seemingly frail "pretty boy" insult them in front of the two beauties, immediately grew even more arrogant.

They banged against the bars, shouting curses incessantly, as if venting long-suppressed rage.

Before they could speak again, a faint rustling sound was heard as countless cold sword gleams flashed before their eyes like lightning.

Then, The prisoner who had been leading the insults suddenly felt his vision shift strangely.

He horrifyingly realized his head could see his own toes, with his eyes level with his feet!

'What happened??'

His mind went blank.

He tried to speak but found his throat blocked, so hoarse he couldn't form words as his consciousness gradually faded into darkness.

"Ahhh!!!"

Miserable screams echoed through the cell block as countless sword lights flickered in the darkness like Death's scythe, mercilessly harvesting lives.

Prisoners dropped to their knees begging for mercy, their pleas echoing through the prison, but Ron's sword never paused for even a moment.

Each sword energy precisely sliced through, taking another sinful soul.

Just as he'd said - these people were just wasting air by being alive.

He was merely helping them find release.

"Let's go. These scum aren't worth our time," Ron said indifferently.

Not a single drop of blood stained his clothes, as if the bloody slaughter moments before had never occurred.

Nami and Robin nodded slightly, traces of shock still in their eyes.

He killed them all in such a short time?!

But there was no time to dwell on it as they hurriedly followed behind Ron, continuing forward.

Their figures gradually disappeared into the depths of the dim corridor, leaving only deathly silence and the fading scent of blood in the cell block.

After passing through a narrow, gloomy corridor,

Ron, Nami, and Robin finally reached the prison's interior.

The silence here was eerie enough to make one's hair stand on end, as if time itself had frozen.

An atmosphere of decay and oppression permeated the air, with mottled stains on the walls telling tales of passing years.

Only their footsteps echoed crisply through the empty corridor, each step seeming to fall in rhythm with their own heartbeats, sending chills down their spines.

"This place... it's like a ghost town," Nami whispered, unable to completely conceal the unease in her voice.

The Impel Down she had imagined should have been heavily guarded and full of dangers, swarming with fierce guards and deadly traps.

Yet the scene before them was so deserted, which instead made her feel more uneasy, as if invisible eyes were watching them from the darkness.

Robin appeared even more vigilant, constantly scanning every corner around them.

"Don't let your guard down. Even though there are no guards, this is still Impel Down. There might be automatic defense systems," Robin reminded softly.

She knew how terrifying this prison was.

Even without guards, they couldn't afford to be careless.

Seeing how tense the two were, Ron couldn't help but smile slightly as a flash of confidence and composure in his eyes.

"No need to be so nervous. With Nami's current strength, she shouldn't face much pressure here."

Ron's explanation seemed to reassure the two.

Only then did they snap out of it, as if suddenly remembering something important.

"That's right, Robin! I'm a Devil Fruit user now! I can transform into Dragon! These little jailer beasts aren't even worth one punch from me!" Nami suddenly became excited, her eyes wide as she raised her fists and waved them around.

"...I almost forgot. Your strength has improved a lot, Nami." Robin looked at Nami with a faint, relieved smile appearing on her face.

Since Nami possessed such power, they could indeed worry less about their movements here.

But Nami's excitement didn't last long.

Her expression suddenly turned somewhat worried as she murmured quietly.

"But I... I'm afraid of pain..."
