He could see the faint images of children running, adults going on with their work, groups chattering.
This used to be the place where the people of his tribe gathered to celebrate, to discuss important topics that concerned the survival of the tribe.
However, right now, this same place is desolate, vacant.
Instead of the laughter that once echoed, silence filled the place. For some reason, as he walked through the clearing, he could hear the screams of despair.
