" I think it's too risky to interfere in another nation's politics…" Charles Xavier said in a measured tone only for Emma to scoff at him and Magneto to gaze at his friend in disdain.
" It's still refreshing to see that you are as indecisive as always Charles…" Magneto gave a backhanded compliment, making Xavier's lips twitch.
"I could say the same, as you are still as stubborn as ever…" Xavier replied back with a smile while gazing at his friend deep in the eyes as Magneto didn't back down as he kept eye contact.
'Geh old men…' Adrian thought inside his head.
"Can we focus on the matter at hand ?" Emma interjected, making both old men back down.
" I say we storm the place …" Adrian said in a nonchalant tone as he was a One man army.
"I have tried before… but they use our own brethren against us making it useless to liberate Genosha since the Mutants would be killed…" Magneto said in a heavy tone.
He had tried to attack Genosha only to retreat as the army he faced consisted of Mutants , Eric was willing to pay a tough price for his cause but the blood of his brethren was not something he wanted to pay unless absolutely necessary.
The Mutants in Genosha were being used as tools against their own will and even if they took down all of them, the collars around their necks would guarantee death.
"One day… that's all I need…" Adrian gazed at the people in the room who gazed back at him in confusion.
Magneto wanted to say something but he felt like Adrian wasn't messing around gazing at the confidence in his eyes.
" I'll get all of the Mutants out and after that…we storm the place…. " Adrian leaned back as he said in a laidback tone, his words making the ordeal sound easier than it already was.
Maybe to them it might be hard or difficult but to Adrian it was just a cakewalk , if Genosha was a country of only hostiles then he could wipe it out in a matter of minutes. ( Juiced up Sentry with a Kryptonian physiology, plastic man powers , captain Atom powers , Firestorm powers , etc)
"Charles you can't stay passive like this forever , and your institute isn't safe any more , the government has already marked it as a place full of mutants …. A prime target if they ever decide to come for us… " Emma said in a grave tone, making Charles a bit uncomfortable.
" If we could understand each other then these conflicts wouldn't arise…" Charles channeled his inner Naruto as he decided to preach the path of peace and forbearance.
"Pussy…" Magneto scoffed
"Even at a time like this you still decide to place the future and lives of our people on humans , humans who want nothing more than to see us be eradicated. When will you understand Charles! Humans fear the unknown and to them we are an anomaly! " Magneto gritted his teeth as he glared at his indecisive friend.
"I…" Charles wanted to say something to defend his views but he couldn't bring forth any noteworthy points.
If the government was already making plans to take care of his institute then he would have to agree that it wasn't as safe as he thought it to be.
" A Mutant nation… but that sounds kind of deregatory.." Adrian said, making the rest of the people perk up.
" The term mutant itself makes it seem like we are a kind of disease , instead I suggest the term Meta humans , since we are humans with meta abilities…." Adrian said thoughtfully since in Prime Earth ( DC ) people with abilities were called Meta humans and it sounded way better than mutants.
Charles and Magento gazed at Adrian in surprise as this was indeed a good term to refer to humans with the X gene as it sounded like an evolution of humans rather than a mutation.
" The whole world might see us as a threat…" Magneto said seriously as he gazed at Adrian , his gaze contained no fear , to him this wasn't too much of a crisis or surprising outcome as with his prejudice against humans he had always expected the worst from humanity.
" Then let them … they can't do shit anyways…" Adrian replied calmly as Charles showed an uncomfortable expression while Magneto cracked a small smile.
He quite liked the young man but that didn't mean he was going to lower his vigilance.
He would do his best to keep Wanda and Lorna away from this brat.
That was one thing he would never want to yield on! And there would be no timelines where Magneto yields! ( MR )

"Are you serious about doing this, Addy? " Emma asked softly as they were driving back to their home.
"Never been more sure about anything else in my life … I want my kids to grow up somewhere safe without having to worry about anything else… and it's easier to protect everyone I care about, if we have a force of our own and what better way than to establish a country of our own…" Adrian smiled at Emma who rolled her eyes at him.
" You aren't planning to leave the administrative matters and all the paperwork to me , are you? " Emma gazed at Adrian who just smirked at her, making her huff in annoyance but she still smiled because she agreed with his sentiments.
" Still I didn't expect Magneto to be so civil…" Emma said to Adrian with a smile as she hadn't expected him to arrange a meeting like this.
" What can I say…. Having almost God like strength helps in many cases ~ "
