Monica's POV
The conference room buzzed with urgency as Darren and I joined Morris and Jason for an impromptu meeting. Morris had received a call from our New Fisher partners that required immediate attention.
"The clients are thrilled with our services, but they've requested we travel to their headquarters. They want to extend the contract face-to-face," Morris explained, tapping his pen against the polished table.
Darren leaned forward. "When are we scheduled to leave?"
"Tomorrow," Morris replied, straightening his tie. "Jason will accompany us, and I think Monica should join as well. It's crucial she meets these clients and understands the negotiation process."
"I completely agree," Darren nodded, turning to me. "What do you think, Monica?"
I considered the request carefully. "Actually, I believe I should remain here. These clients constantly request additional information. You might need quick access to resources that aren't readily available in New Fisher, like last time."
