Her teasing tone pulled Feng Fan from his thoughts, and he gave her a sidelong glance.
"Indeed, I'm surprised. The emperor's daughter is really minimalist and not girly enough. Are you perhaps the emperor's son?"
Qian Xiaoli raised an eyebrow, clearly not expecting such a blunt response. "Oh? Are you accusing the emperor's daughter of cross-dressing? You do realize I could have you executed for that, right?"
'Not that I would, of course. I prefer to toy with my prey myself,' she mused, a sly smile playing on her lips.
Feng Fan didn't outwardly react to her words, but her thoughts were an entirely different matter.
'Prey? Why are all the girls I meet completely unhinged? Is there some universal rule that beauty comes with a side of insanity?' he wondered, a mix of exasperation and disbelief swirling in his mind.
"Lady, are you threatening me?" he asked, his tone calm.
"What if I am?" she replied, narrowing her eyes.
"Then I can only run away," he said with a deadpan expression. "Please don't threaten me. I scare easily."
Qian Xiaoli couldn't help but laugh at his response. "You're quite amusing. Most men trip over themselves trying to impress me, but you don't seem affected by my beauty at all."
She stepped closer, her movements deliberate, her lips stopping just short of his. But Feng Fan didn't flinch or step back; he met her gaze without hesitation.
"I like it," she said, her voice soft but filled with intrigue.
After that, she casually stepped away from Feng Fan, treating him like he wasn't even there. She began selecting a dress from her wardrobe before heading into the bathroom.
A few minutes later, she emerged from the bathroom, her transformation hard to ignore.
Feng Fan's eyes flicked to her briefly before quickly looking away. Her long, black hair was meticulously brushed, cascading gracefully down to her knees, while the dress she wore accentuated her figure effortlessly.
The dress itself was a light blue sundress, short and airy, the kind that could easily betray its wearer with the slightest gust of wind.
If the wind decided to pay a visit, her panties would welcome the sun.
"How do I look?" she asked, gently holding the edges of her dress. She spun gracefully, giving Feng Fan a full view of both the dress and her figure.
"Not bad, a pig may find itself in a difficult situation to compete with your grace."
"Thanks for the compliment. You're a true gentleman," said Qian Xiaoli, barely holding back a laugh.
"Of course. My friends always say I'm the pinnacle of gentleness and care," replied Feng Fan. "Now, where exactly are we going?"
"I have the perfect place for our date."
Feng Fan raised an eyebrow, clearly puzzled. "What date?"
Without missing a beat, Qian Xiaoli darted toward him, grabbed his hand, and began pulling him toward the exit.
"Come on. You have no idea how many people would kill for a chance to go on a date with me."
Feng Fan let himself be pulled but still complained. "I'm not paying for your food!"
—
Feng Fan and Qian Xiaoli strolled side by side along a bustling street in the capital's noble district.
She still held his hand firmly, despite his clear reluctance. Each time Feng Fan tried to protest, her grip only tightened, leaving him no choice but to endure it.
"This street could be considered the commercial hub of the noble area," Qian Xiaoli explained, glancing at the lively shops around them. "You'll find powerful artifacts for cultivators and high-end clothing here. Most of the clothes are specially refined to resist fire and water."
Her gaze shifted to his outfit, which bore the emblem of the White Crow Sect. "Why don't you buy something for yourself? You could use an upgrade."
Feng Fan nodded. For the first time since they had met, he found himself agreeing with her.
'I really do need different clothes,' he thought. 'How could I go on another date with Xue Qiang without a proper outfit?' A stupid smile crept onto his face as he recalled how breathtaking Xue Qiang had looked a few months ago.
Noticing his goofy expression, Qian Xiaoli raised an eyebrow and smirked. "What's with that ridiculous smile? What are you thinking about, you pervert?"
Feng Fan's expression hardened. "Uncultured people like you wouldn't understand…"
"Oh, really?" Qian Xiaoli replied with a sweet smile, channeling spiritual qi into her finger. She pressed it against his hand just hard enough to draw blood.
"Ouch!" Feng Fan yelped, caught off guard by her unexpected move.
As his face twisted slightly in reaction to the pain, Qian Xiaoli's cheeks flushed ever so slightly. 'Ah, what a delightful expression. I need more,' she thought.
Feng Fan noticed her reaction and froze, his jaw dropping in disbelief. 'She's a damn sadist!' He thought, utterly baffled.
Qian Xiaoli noticed his shift in expression and realized she'd been caught. She quickly masked her face with a neutral expression, pretending nothing had happened.
"Let's head over there. They have some excellent men's clothing," Qian Xiaoli said, pointing toward a two-story shop with a sign that read Dragon Cloth Shop.
Feng Fan followed her inside, where they were greeted by a charming female shopkeeper.
"How may I assist you today?" the shopkeeper asked with a polite smile.
Feng Fan picked out a few outfits, but Qian Xiaoli immediately shook her head. "Your taste is horrible," she said, waving off his choices. Enjoy more content from empire
She then selected a few outfits herself. Feng Fan inspected them and decided they were acceptable, so he didn't object.
"That will be five hundred low-grade qi stones," the shopkeeper announced after totaling the cost.
Feng Fan retrieved the qi stones from his space ring and handed them over, though inwardly he was grumbling. 'This is ridiculously overpriced!'
After Feng Fan and Qian Xiaoli left, another salesperson approached the shopkeeper with a curious look.
"Hey, wasn't that the princess? What's she doing with that guy? I've never seen him before, but they seemed... really close."
The shopkeeper chuckled softly. "You're not wrong. I bet plenty of young men in the capital are going to be green with envy by the end of today."

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC95 If I Can't Pay, She'll Cover For Me
After leaving the shop, Feng Fan was no longer wearing the black robes adorned with the White Crow Sect emblem. Instead, he now donned pristine white robes, accented with subtle black patterns.
Qian Xiaoli gave him an approving look. "Not bad. Clothes really do make the man. You're lucky to have someone with great taste helping you out."
Feng Fan shot her a sideways glance. "You should learn to practice humility, just like I do!"
Qian Xiaoli chuckled lightly. "Since I helped you pick out clothes, shouldn't you treat me to lunch?"
Feng Fan rolled his eyes. "Fine, but where are we going? It better be cheap!"
Without waiting for further discussion, Qian Xiaoli grabbed his hand and began pulling him down the street. "Don't worry, I know the perfect place. Follow me!"
As they strolled along, a man suddenly stepped into their path, his gaze fixed on their joined hands with visible disgust.
"Xiaoli, what are you doing with this… commoner?" he sneered.
Qian Xiaoli suppressed her disgust, her face breaking into a polite smile. "He offered to treat me to lunch, and I graciously accepted. I don't see how that concerns you, Yi Duyi."
Feng Fan blinked in confusion. 'Since when?'
Yi Duyi's expression twisted in anger, his eyes burning with jealousy as they shifted to Feng Fan. "You insolent commoner! How dare you set your sights on my woman? You're courting death! I challenge you to a duel!"
With a flourish, Yi Duyi pulled a gleaming sword from his space ring. The blade sparkled brilliantly in the sunlight, radiating an aura of power.
Feng Fan's eyes widened, not with fear but with excitement. 'This guy is loaded!' he thought gleefully.
The weapon in Yi Duyi's hands was no ordinary blade—it was a low-grade spiritual artifact, worth at least fifty thousand middle-grade qi stones. Feng Fan's lips twitched upward as he struggled to contain his delight.
To everyone's surprise, Feng Fan quickly pulled his hand free from Qian Xiaoli's grip, wrapped his arm around her waist, and drew her close.
"Ah!" Qian Xiaoli, caught off guard by Feng Fan's boldness, let out an involuntary gasp.
"Indeed, I've set my sights on her. What are you going to do about it?" Feng Fan said with a confident smile.
Though Qian Xiaoli had planned to tease Feng Fan, she couldn't help but feel slightly irritated by his sudden actions. However, she forced herself to blush, playing along with the moment.
Yi Duyi, seeing Qian Xiaoli blushing while Feng Fan held her, nearly lost his composure in a fit of jealousy.
"You—! I'm going to kill you! Do you dare accept my challenge, or are you too much of a coward?"
Feng Fan looked at him with a mocking smile. "Why would I bother? My time is valuable. If you want a fight, you'll have to pay up."
Yi Duyi's brows shot up in surprise. "Pay you up?"
Feng Fan nodded. "It's no wonder Xiaoli'er didn't want you. You're too slow to get it! That's right, pay me if you want to fight and waste my time."
Yi Duyi's face contorted in fury. "I'll pay a middle-grade qi stone, but let's see if you'll even use it."
With that, he threw a middle-grade qi stone toward Feng Fan, who caught it quickly and stored it in his space ring.
'Not bad. Rich people really are different!'
"Alright, we can fight, but it's still a waste of time. How about a bet?"
"A bet?" Yi Duyi asked.
"That's right," Feng Fan said. "Let's bet a thousand middle-grade qi stones. What do you think?"
Yi Duyi hesitated. Although he was at the 6th Foundation Establishment realm and his opponent was only at the 4th, a thousand middle-grade qi stones were not a small sum.
Feng Fan saw his hesitation and quickly added fuel to the fire. "What's wrong? Afraid of losing? It seems you're just a coward. In that case, make way! Today, I'm off to taste a delicacy."
It was unclear whether he meant the food or Qian Xiaoli herself.
Qian Xiaoli caught his hidden meaning and blushed for real. 'This guy has no manners!'
"I accept!" Yi Duyi, seeing Qian Xiaoli blush, was overwhelmed with rage and immediately accepted the bet.
"But how could a poor commoner like you possibly afford such a high sum?" Yi Duyi mocked, sneering at Feng Fan's poverty.
Feng Fan simply smiled at his third-rate provocation. "Don't worry. Isn't my woman right here rich? Her princess status must count for something. If I can't pay, she'll cover for me!"
Qian Xiaoli was stunned. 'His woman? Paying for him? This guy is crazy.'
"That's it, I'm going to kill you now!" Yi Duyi, unable to hold back any longer, charged straight at Feng Fan.
Feng Fan let go of Qian Xiaoli before summoning his trusty brick from his space ring.
"Winged Tiger!" Yi Duyi shouted as he charged toward Feng Fan, the tip of his sword glowing with spiritual qi, aiming to kill Feng Fan with a single strike.
An illusionary image of a massive winged tiger appeared behind him.
As Feng Fan infused his brick with spiritual qi, Yi Duyi closed in. He aimed to strike with his sword, but Feng Fan swung the Suppression Relic to intercept.
A powerful shockwave of spiritual qi erupted from the point of impact, filling the air.
Feng Fan remained still, but Yi Duyi staggered back three steps.
"Impossible! How can you be stronger than me?!"
Feng Fan didn't give him a moment to recover. He swiftly moved his free hand toward Yi Duyi.
Sealing Palm!
An illusionary image of a seal and chains appeared behind Feng Fan.
His open palm slammed into Yi Duyi's dantian, sealing it.
Yi Duyi coughed up blood and was sent flying several meters, crashing to the ground. He felt his connection to spiritual qi severed.
"M-My cultivation? What did you do?!"
Feng Fan grinned. "Want your cultivation back? That'll cost you five thousand middle-grade qi stones!"

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC96 What gentleman?
Yi Duyi was seething.
Losing to someone in a lower realm was humiliating enough, but to have it happen in front of the woman he admired, and now being forced to pay such a steep price, was unbearable.
Feng Fan noticed the fury in Yi Duyi's expression and added fuel to the fire. "Don't forget the thousand qi stones you owe for losing. Someone as noble as you wouldn't go back on your word in front of so many witnesses, right? Or are your words as worthless as your swordsmanship?"
Yi Duyi glanced around, seeing the crowd that had gathered, all eyes fixed on him with judgment and curiosity. His face turned crimson with shame as he took a sack of middle-grade qi stones from his space ring. Grudgingly, he tossed it at Feng Fan's feet.
"My word is worth far more than this measly sum," Yi Duyi said, trying to maintain a shred of dignity. Yet, internally, he felt as though a knife had been twisted in his pride.
"As for the five thousand qi stones to undo your pitiful technique, forget it!" Yi Duyi sneered, clutching his abdomen, still aching from the sealing strike. "A cultivator from my family will easily undo whatever trick you've pulled."
Feng Fan smirked, his tone dripping with mockery. "Oh, it's five thousand now. But don't worry, when you come crawling back, the price will increase. I'll be here, my dear friend."
Yi Duyi gritted his teeth, refusing to dignify Feng Fan's taunts with a response.
He turned and staggered away.
The crowd watched Feng Fan with curiosity.
Yi Duyi was a well-known figure in the capital, wealthy and powerful, but he had been easily defeated by an unknown cultivator two small realms below him.
As if that weren't shocking enough, this mysterious newcomer boldly declared the emperor's daughter as his woman!
Qian Xiaoli, the emperor's daughter wasn't just famous for her stunning beauty but also for her exceptional talent. At just twenty years old, she had already reached the 9th Foundation Establishment realm—a feat few could achieve at her age.
In the Qian Empire, she stood at the pinnacle: status, talent, wealth, and power.
Many suitors had vied for her hand, drawn by her charm and unparalleled potential. Yet, all had left empty-handed. She never explicitly rejected their advances, but she had never accepted anyone either.
Until now, or so it seemed.
The crowd buzzed with speculation. Whatever the truth, Feng Fan would soon become the center of attention in the capital.
After finishing his business with Yi Duyi, Feng Fan turned to Qian Xiaoli with a grin. "Shall we, my lady? I'm starving!"
Qian Xiaoli raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Since you just got so much money from Yi Duyi, surely you can afford something more extravagant for lunch, right?"
Feng Fan chuckled, feigning innocence. "What money? That was a gift from a dear friend. How could I possibly spend it so carelessly?"
Qian Xiaoli rolled her eyes at his shamelessness. "Let's just go."
Without another word, Feng Fan followed behind her.
—
When Feng Fan and Qian Xiaoli reached the entrance of the restaurant, another man suddenly blocked their path.
"Are you the one who dares to claim himself as Qian Xiaoli's man?!" the newcomer demanded. His handsome appearance was hard to ignore—long red hair flowed in the wind, and his piercing dark red eyes locked onto Feng Fan.
'I don't know why, but I suddenly feel like punching this guy,' Feng Fan thought, his irritation rising instantly.
"Break one of your legs and le—" the man began, but before he could finish, Feng Fan was already in front of him.
Sealing Palm!
The man's eyes widened in shock. He tried to dodge but hadn't expected his opponent to strike so quickly, or without warning!
Feng Fan's palm struck his dantian with precision, sealing his cultivation in an instant.
Feeling his connection to spiritual qi vanish, the man's face twisted in a mix of despair and fury. "You—! You coward! How dare you attack like that?!"
Feng Fan responded with a light kick to the man's chest, sending him sprawling onto the ground.
"Five thousand middle-grade qi stones to restore your cultivation," Feng Fan declared coldly. "Pay up or get lost!"
The red-haired man scrambled to his feet, his pride and spirit both shattered. Before storming off, he threw a glare over his shoulder and spat, "I'll be back!"
Qian Xiaoli approached Feng Fan from behind, her tone laced with feigned concern.
"You're really ruthless. Aren't you worried they'll come after you? You've already made enemies of two heirs from powerful families in the capital."
Feng Fan glanced at her with a calm expression. "Wasn't that your plan all along? If I'm going to be used, I might as well get something out of it. As long as they pay up, I don't care if they hate me a little."
Qian Xiaoli chuckled, her voice light and teasing. "You're no fun. Let's go. Watching them get beaten up has made me hungry."
Feng Fan stared at her, dumbfounded. 'Truly a sadist.'
Without saying another word, he followed her as she led the way into a towering five-story pagoda. From the outside, it looked modest, but once inside, it was like stepping into another world.
The interior was breathtaking. Walls adorned with intricate paintings depicting immortals battling demons and dragons, their vibrant colors seemingly alive.
Curious, Feng Fan activated his spiritual qi vision, and his heart sank. Almost everything inside radiated an intense spiritual qi, from the decor to the very air itself.
'This place screams expensive as hell!' he thought, feeling a headache coming on.
Before he could voice his concerns, Qian Xiaoli was already speaking with a waiter.
The waiter bowed respectfully, his demeanor polished. "Your Highness, would you like your usual table?"
Qian Xiaoli nodded with a small smile. "Yes, please. Also, the gentleman here will be covering the bill today."
Feng Fan's eye twitched and he looked around. "What gentleman? Because I sure as hell don't see one!"

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC97 I'm Just a Beggar
The waiter was momentarily dumbfounded by Feng Fan's response, but wisely kept his thoughts to himself. It wasn't his place to voice out his opinions.
Qian Xiaoli, already used to Feng Fan's eccentric behavior, merely chuckled. "Let's go," she said with a playful smile.
She took his hand and led him up the stairs, their footsteps echoing softly as they ascended to the top floor. At the very end, she guided him toward a private table located in a cabin at the center of the floor.
As they passed through the elegant curtains, Feng Fan took in the luxurious setup.
A semi-circular couch wrapped around a table carved from polished stone, its surface smooth and gleaming.
A small bell and a menu listing the restaurant's dishes were already placed on the table. Feng Fan glanced at the menu and gulped, already dreading the exorbitant prices he was sure to find.
Qian Xiaoli gracefully took her seat on the couch, her gaze fixed on Feng Fan, as if silently inviting him to sit beside her.
Feng Fan, however, pretended not to notice. Instead, he casually walked around the table and sat directly across from her, maintaining a safe distance.
"You can call it whatever you want, as long as it's the cheapest item on the menu!" Feng Fan said, his expression completely shameless.
"Sure, but before you make that decision, why don't you take a look at the menu?" Qian Xiaoli said, a playful smile on her face.
Feng Fan grabbed the menu and glanced at it. When he saw the prices, his eyes nearly popped out of his head.
"What the hell? Is this daylight robbery? How can the cheapest thing here cost thirty middle-grade qi stones?"
Realizing that Qian Xiaoli was a regular guest at this restaurant, he couldn't help but feel how poor he truly was.
'Just when I thought I was getting rich... compared to the truly wealthy, I'm just a beggar.'
Feng Fan gave her a disapproving look. "I can't believe you're spending the people's taxes on such expensive food. Shame on you!"
Qian Xiaoli remained unfazed. "If you don't want me using the people's taxes, then you can pay for my food today." She clicked the bell, and within moments, the same waiter appeared.
"Your Highness," the waiter greeted.
"A Crazy Immortal's wine and two Demon Swan Steams," Qian Xiaoli ordered, not even waiting for Feng Fan to choose his food.
"Yes, Your Highness," the waiter replied before leaving to fulfill the order.
Feng Fan picked up the menu and quickly scanned for the dishes Qian Xiaoli had ordered. It didn't take long to find them.
To his shock, the total cost was exactly one thousand middle-grade qi stones.
'She's trying to make me spend everything I earned today!' He narrowed his eyes, glaring at her suspiciously.
Noticing his expression, Qian Xiaoli responded with a sweet, innocent smile, as if daring him to complain.
"When you fought Yi Duyi, what was that technique you used to seal his cultivation?" she asked casually.
Recalling the middle-grade qi stones Yi Duyi would soon hand over, Feng Fan felt his mood improving slightly.
"The technique is called Sealing Palm," he said with a smirk. "But as for how to use it, that's a secret."
Qian Xiaoli raised an eyebrow. "I'm not trying to steal your techniques. I'm more curious about why you're so confident that no one from Yi Duyi's family will be able to undo the seal. You do realize they have a Dao Seeking expert in their ranks, right?"
Feng Fan's grin widened. "Whether they can undo it or not, we'll find out soon enough, won't we?"
Qian Xiaoli studied him with growing intrigue. "I'll be looking forward to it."
"You seem way too eager to stir up trouble. Why did Elder Duan think you'd keep me out of it? If anything, you're the one causing it!" Feng Fan raised an eyebrow skeptically.
Qian Xiaoli chuckled softly. "Elder Duan has known me since I was a baby. To him, I'm just a sweet and gentle little girl."
Feng Fan scoffed. "Sweet and gentle? Yeah, right. If anything, this whole innocent act of yours is just a facade. Royalty and their endless games…"
Qian Xiaoli's humble smile didn't waver as she continued, "Even though I'm a princess, I have no real power in the court. The only reason my father started paying attention to me two years ago was because of my cultivation talent. He wants me to win the Young Generation Competition for him."
Feng Fan raised an eyebrow, slightly surprised. "Why does the royal family need to compete against the sects for resources? Isn't all the land theirs to begin with?"
Qian Xiaoli shook her head. "He's only the emperor when it comes to mortals. To the cultivation sects, the Qian Empire is just another large sect."
Feng Fan nodded slowly, processing her words. "If the Qian Empire doesn't make the rules, who does?"
Qian Xiaoli seemed surprised by his question. "Your elders never told you?"
Feng Fan shook his head with a self-deprecating smile. "It seems my elders are keeping a lot of things from me."
Qian Xiaoli's expression softened as she began to answer his question. "It's not exactly a big secret. On the Black Turtle Continent, three sects make the rules, each overseeing a specific region. The Qian Empire falls under the jurisdiction of the Dao Seeking School. To them, we're nothing more than a minor source of talent, and not even a significant one at that."
"Oh? Why do they call themselves a school and not a sect?" Feng Fan asked, intrigued.
Qian Xiaoli shrugged lightly. "When their ancestor founded the sect, his dream was to teach cultivation to all mortals. Unfortunately, the current Dao Seeking School has strayed far from that vision. Now, they focus solely on finding and nurturing the strongest talents, but the name remains."
Feng Fan nodded thoughtfully. "Time has a way of distorting even the noblest intentions, doesn't it?"

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC98 Even Idiots Can Say Intelligent Things
Qian Xiaoli nodded at his words. "I thought you were an idiot. Maybe even idiots can say intelligent things."
Feng Fan's forehead vein twitched in anger. "You sure have a lot of opinions about me, you little perverted sadist."
Qian Xiaoli blushed slightly at his words. "Ah, it seems I've been found out."
Under the table, she slid her heel against Feng Fan's big toe.
"Ouch!" he gasped, startled by the sudden pain.
Her blush deepened, but she grinned. "You're not very handsome, but you make some amusing expressions."
Feng Fan rolled his eyes. "Crazy girl, shouldn't you be ashamed of flaunting your weird little fetishes in public?"
Qian Xiaoli smirked. "Why bother hiding it when you already know? Besides, no one can hear us outside this room, the soundproof array ensures that."
"Aren't you afraid I'll spread the word about your peculiar tastes all over the capital?"
She leaned forward slightly, her playful smile unwavering. "Oh? And who would believe a stranger with no reputation? I wouldn't even need to deny it to dismiss such a ridiculous rumor."
"Never mind, forget I said anything," Feng Fan muttered, his expression filled with irritation.
The curtains parted slightly as the waiter entered, pushing a small cart laden with their food.
He placed two cups on the table, one before Feng Fan and the other before Qian Xiaoli. Next, he lifted the lids from their plates, releasing a mouthwatering aroma into the room.
He carefully placed the plates in front of them, along with a fork and knife for each. Then, he uncorked the wine bottle and filled their cups, placing the bottle in the center of the table afterward.
"Please enjoy your meal," he said with a polite bow before wheeling the cart back out of the room.
Feng Fan looked at the food in front of him with interest. While the portion wasn't small, he couldn't help but wonder why a meal could be so expensive.
He glanced at Qian Xiaoli, who was cutting the meat in front of her with grace before taking a small bite.
Curious, he did the same. The moment he started chewing, he felt a surge of spiritual qi fills his mouth.
It wasn't that the food was packed with spiritual qi meant for cultivation, but rather that the small amount of it, mixed with the flavors, enhanced the taste in a way he had never experienced before.
'This is by far the best food I've ever had,' he thought, 'but I still wonder if it's really worth so many middle-grade qi stones…'
If Feng Fan had an abundance of stones, he wouldn't mind spending a few on this delicious food. But at the moment, he was unsure when his resources would run out.
His cultivation was becoming more demanding with each passing day, and the cost was truly outrageous.
Qian Xiaoli noticed his expression, as if savoring the food, and couldn't help but ask, "Good, right?"
Feng Fan glanced at her. "Yeah, tastes like money... Next time, let's just get a hot dog."
Qian Xiaoli raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Hot dog? What's that?"
"Oh, never mind. It's a common food where I come from."
"Wait... you're not from Red Pole? Could it be... you're from Earth?"
Feng Fan nodded.
"Ah, interesting. The last person I met from Earth was a real jerk. At least you're a bit better."
"A jerk?" Feng Fan asked, curious. "Who was he?"
"Hou Mengyao. He's the holy son of the Heavenly Sword Sect. He came here from Earth almost four years ago."
"Hm, I've never heard of him. Why do you call him a jerk?"
"You'll meet him at the Young Generation Competition. The moment you see his face, you'll understand. Since the first time he saw me, he's been dead set on making me his lover. For some reason, he thinks it's an honor for me to be with him. I've never met someone so arrogant in my entire life."
As she recalled Hou Mengyao, Qian Xiaoli's expression turned sour, and the fork in her hand nearly bent under her grip.
"Oh, he really got under your skin, huh? I'm looking forward to meeting him. I remember Elder Jiang mentioning he's a very strong cultivator, and that he'd probably reach the Golden Core Formation realm before the competition."
Qian Xiaoli nodded. "Yes… He's already broken through. I hate to admit it, but I'm no match for him."
Feng Fan's expression grew serious.
He knew that facing a Golden Core Formation cultivator would leave him with no chance of victory. This was especially true against someone as talented as Hou Mengyao, who had been carefully groomed by a top sect.
"If he knew what I said today, I wonder if he'd come here to take my head," Feng Fan remarked.
"Oh, so you're finally afraid of trouble? The way you acted earlier made it seem like you had no fear of death," Qian Xiaoli teased.
"Hmph, I'm just worried that when I slap this Hou Mengyao, his sect will come looking for trouble with me," Feng Fan replied.
Qian Xiaoli chuckled. "Don't worry. Hou Mengyao is in seclusion, and he won't leave his sect until the Young Generation Competition begins. Until then, you're safe."
Feng Fan raised an eyebrow. "What? When the competition begins, are you planning to tell him about me?"
Qian Xiaoli flashed a teasing smile. "Didn't you say I'm your woman? Shouldn't you show some attitude to back up your words?"
Feng Fan didn't respond. Instead, he returned to his meal. Since the food is already paid for, might as well savor it.
He took his time, sipping the wine between bites. Like the food, the wine had a subtle infusion of spiritual qi, enhancing its flavor many times over.
'Whether it's on Earth or Red Pole, you really need to be rich to fully enjoy what life has to offer…' Thought Feng Fan.

After finishing their meal and wine, Qian Xiaoli stood up from the couch. "Just leave the payment on the table; the waiter will handle it."
Feng Fan rolled his eyes but complied anyway. He placed a pouch containing a thousand middle-grade qi stones on the table and followed Qian Xiaoli toward the exit.

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC99 An Absurdly Hairy Leg
As Qian Xiaoli and Feng Fan stepped out of the restaurant, six men blocked their path.
Their gazes bore into Feng Fan with hostility, their cultivation levels radiating a tangible menace. None of them bothered to suppress their auras, each was a powerhouse at the Foundation Establishment Realm, the weakest among them already at the 6th stage.
Feng Fan, however, didn't look the least bit intimidated. In fact, his face lit up with barely concealed excitement. 'Ah, so the fish took the bait.'
The man at the front, his tone dripping with disdain, stepped forward. "Are you the one who dared to call yourself Qian Xiaoli's man?"
These men were no strangers to competition, each vying for the same woman's favor.
If Qian Xiaoli had chosen any one of them as her future partner, they might have reluctantly accepted it. But for her to acknowledge an unknown commoner?
That was something they couldn't tolerate.
"Yes, Qian Xiaoli is my woman. Got a problem with that?" Feng Fan replied, a confident smile tugging at his lips. As he spoke, he retrieved the Suppression Relic from his space ring, letting his aura burst forth.
By his side, Qian Xiaoli forced a slight blush. The men surrounding them took her reaction as confirmation, their faces twisting with jealousy and anger.
"A toad trying to eat swan meat!" one of them spat, his voice dripping with contempt.
Feng Fan's grin widened at the insult. "If I, a toad, can eat this swan, then what does that make you idiots who can't even taste it?"
Qian Xiaoli's cheeks turned a deeper shade of red, this time from genuine embarrassment. 'Can't this guy choose his words more carefully?' she thought, resisting the urge to bury her hand in his face.
"No need for more words. Today, we'll teach this commoner a lesson!" The man who had first spoken to Feng Fan snarled as he summoned a spear from his space ring.
He lunged forward, the weapon aimed directly at Feng Fan.
"Tsunami Descent!" he roared.
A massive illusionary wave formed behind him, surging forward as if to crush everything in its path. The spear in his hand glowed with shades of blue, its spiritual qi spreading across its length before quickly concentrating at the tip, amplifying its power significantly.
The oppressive aura bore down on Feng Fan, causing his expression to harden. 'This guy is far stronger than Yi Duyi, and there are five more just as dangerous behind him,' he thought grimly.
Feng Fan channeled his spiritual qi into his weapon, his grip tightening as he prepared to meet the attack head-on.
Feng Fan raised his brick to intercept the incoming spear. The moment the two weapons collided, the ground beneath them cracked under the immense pressure.
Both men stood firm, neither giving an inch.
"Impossible! You're only at the 4th stage of the Foundation Establishment Realm!" the spear-wielding man shouted, his voice filled with disbelief.
He couldn't fathom how someone three stages below him could match his strength head-on.
Feng Fan didn't waste time with a reply. Instead, he used the man's momentary shock to launch his counterattack.
Family Jewel Destroyer Kick!
An illusionary image of an absurdly muscular and hairy leg appeared behind Feng Fan, radiating an odd and almost comedic aura.
Qian Xiaoli, who was observing from the side, couldn't suppress her reaction.
"Disgusting!" she muttered under her breath, cringing at the sight.
The man facing Feng Fan didn't have the luxury of disgust. His instincts screamed in warning, urging him to block the incoming attack at all costs.
Panicking, he repositioned his spear to intercept the kick.
The kick collided with the spear's shaft, and although the man successfully blocked the strike, the huge force behind it sent tremors up his arms. His hands shook violently, his grip on the spear nearly slipping.
"Urgh!"
Although the man managed to hold his ground, an opening presented itself to Feng Fan.
Feng Fan moved his free hand toward the man's dantian. Behind him, a seal and chains began to form, exuding a menacing aura.
Sealing Palm!
The spear-wielding man tried to block the attack, but this time, he was too slow. Feng Fan's palm slipped beneath the spear shaft, and before it could even graze his arm, the attack struck its target.
A sharp scream escaped the man as he felt his connection to spiritual qi severed. His body was flung several meters back before coming to a stop with a resounding thud.
"M-My cultivation!" he roared, his voice filled with despair.
Feng Fan smirked, brushing imaginary dust off his robes. "That'll be five thousand middle-grade qi stones to undo the seal. Pleasure doing business with you."
The remaining five men watched the brief confrontation between Feng Fan and the spear-wielding man with keen interest. Seeing him lying on the ground, his cultivation sealed, left them visibly stunned.
Realizing their strengths were comparable to the defeated man, they exchanged cautious glances.
Without exchanging a word, a mutual understanding was shared among them. They would have to join forces to avoid meeting the same fate.
They turned their attention to Feng Fan, each summoning a different weapon: a sword, metal knuckles, a large sickle, a hammer, and an axe. Moving cautiously, they began to encircle him, but Feng Fan had no intention of letting them gain the upper hand so easily. Experience new stories on empire
The moment the spear-wielding man crashed to the ground, Feng Fan had already started planning how to deal with the next five opponents.
"In your next life, remember not to mess with the wrong person!" the sword-wielding man sneered.
Feng Fan smiled. "Thanks for the advice, but I'll have to decline your kind intentions."
The five of them advanced in unison toward Feng Fan, each displaying a different technique. Their weapons gleamed brightly, and powerful illusionary images appeared behind them, enhancing their attacks.
As their weapons approached him, Feng Fan leaped into the air and activated the array he had drawn right after sealing the spear-wielding man's cultivation!

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC100 Too Scared to Step Up?
Low tier 2 freezing array!
As Feng Fan leaped into the air, the sword, metal knuckles, and axe wielders reacted swiftly, following him with a jump. However, the other two were not fast enough.
Within moments, ice began creeping up their legs, quickly encasing them up to their waists.
"Dammit! When did this guy set up an array?" yelled the hammer-wielding man, smashing at the ice with his weapon. But each time he managed to break a piece, the array would regenerate, freezing his body all over again.
While the hammer and sickle-wielding men struggled to free themselves from the ice, the other three continued their assault in mid-air.
"You can't escape!" the sword-wielding man taunted with a smirk.
Feng Fan didn't respond. Instead, he focused on controlling the array, summoning a thick barrier of ice from the ground to shield himself. Find adventures on empire
Shatter!
Their combined attacks broke through the icy barrier, but it bought Feng Fan just enough time to evade their strikes.
As the shattered ice fragments scattered, Feng Fan infused his right leg with spiritual qi and kicked the air, propelling himself downward and out of the array's boundary.
The three attackers who had initially avoided being caught by the freezing array now found themselves falling to the ground. Like Feng Fan, they used spiritual qi to maneuver and safely exit the array's confines before landing.
As soon as Feng Fan landed, he launched himself toward the two men still trapped in the ice.
Sealing Palm!
With their movement restricted, the two were easy targets. Feng Fan struck them both, sealing their cultivation. The moment their connection to spiritual qi was severed, their expressions twisted in despair.
Satisfied, Feng Fan deactivated the array.
Without their spiritual qi to counteract the freezing cold, and being untrained in body cultivation, it would be only a matter of time before hypothermia claimed them if he didn't deactivate the array.
He grabbed them by their arms and tossed them toward the spear-wielding man, who was still on the ground, silently watching the battle unfold.
Once the two were outside the array, Feng Fan turned his gaze to the remaining three men standing just beyond the array's boundary. A mocking smile spread across his face.
"What's wrong? Too scared to step up?"
The three glared at him with anger, but none dared to step forward. Willingly stepping into an Array Master's formation? That would be akin to committing suicide, and they weren't foolish enough to make such a reckless move.
On the side, Qian Xiaoli watched Feng Fan with admiration. 'No wonder Uncle Duan said Feng Fan was a genius in the Array Dao. He managed to create a tier 2 array so quickly and without anyone noticing!'
Thinking about the Young Generation Competition, she couldn't help but recall the Array Dao section. 'When it comes to the Array Dao, only a handful could possibly rival him. He's practically guaranteed a spot in the top five.'
"Since you're too scared to come to me, let me do the honors!" Feng Fan declared, infusing spiritual qi into the Suppression Relic.
He hurled the relic toward the three men, and as it flew, the brick began to enlarge, its imposing size barreling straight toward them.
The metal knuckles-wielding and axe-wielding men reacted quickly, kicking off the ground to evade the trajectory of the attack. The sword-wielding man, however, who was closest to the brick's epicenter, had no time to escape.
Forced to confront the attack, he channeled spiritual qi into his weapon.
"Serpentwing Thrust!" he shouted, and a spectral image of a winged serpent materialized behind him as he thrust his sword toward the oncoming brick.
When the sword and the massive brick collided, an overwhelming force traveled through his weapon and into his arms. His face twisted in pain as he struggled to maintain his grip on the sword.
'How is he this strong?!' He thought.
Though he managed to block Feng Fan's attack, the impact sent him skidding several meters across the ground before the Suppression Relic shrank back to its original size and returned to Feng Fan's hand.
The effort had taken its toll. Blood trickled down the man's arms, evidence of the strain and damage caused by the powerful clash.
As the brick returned to Feng Fan, he sprinted toward the sword-wielding man, leaving the array's boundary behind. Catching the brick mid-air, he jumped high, descending toward his opponent with a crushing strike aimed at his head.
The sword-wielding man desperately tried to raise his weapon in defense, but his battered arms, still trembling from the earlier clash, refused to obey.
Bam!
The brick struck his head with a resounding impact. Feng Fan had carefully controlled his strength, ensuring the blow was forceful enough to knock the man unconscious without causing fatal damage.
The sword-wielder crumpled to the ground, motionless but alive.
The axe-wielding and metal knuckle-wielding men seized the opportunity, unleashing their most powerful attacks as they charged toward Feng Fan. They showed no concern for the fate of their fallen partners, focused solely on taking him down.
"Buddha's Fury!"
"Meteor Descent!"
Feng Fan watched as both attacks closed in from his flanks, a smile tugging at his lips. He stashed the Suppression Brick into his space ring and focused his spiritual qi into both arms.
As the men approached, Feng Fan sprang into action, each arm intercepting one of their weapons.
"This guy must be crazy!" the axe-wielding man muttered as he noticed what Feng Fan was attempting.
To his surprise, Feng Fan caught both the axe and the metal knuckle with his bare hands, successfully halting the attacks.
However, Feng Fan wasn't unscathed. His arms and hands were covered in blood, with veins ruptured from the force of the impact and spiritual qi invading his body.
Feng Fan tossed the metal knuckles-wielding man aside like a ragdoll and turned his attention to the axe-wielding man, a grin still plastered on his face as he held onto the axe.
"It's payback time!"

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC101 Never Expose Your Back to Feng Fan
With his free hand, Feng Fan clenched a fist, concentrating the energy from both their attacks and his own into one powerful strike.
The axe-wielding man despaired as he felt the powerful spiritual qi inside Feng Fan's fist. He tried to free his axe, but noticed that with Feng Fan's grip, the axe wouldn't even budge!
When he realized he couldn't take his axe back, the axe-wielding man released it and attempted to flee, turning his back to Feng Fan as he ran.
This move only exposed his lack of experience. Despite his high cultivation, as a pampered young master, he lacked battle experience.
Never expose your back to your enemy, especially not to Feng Fan!
Feng Fan saw the opening and his grin widened. He let go of the man's axe and unclenched his fist, bringing both hands together, his index and middle fingers pointing directly at the man's exposed back.
Snake Entering the Cave!
When a snake strikes, no one is fast enough to escape!
A massive serpent appeared behind Feng Fan as he closed in on his fleeing opponent, his speed at least twice that of the man's.
Feng Fan's attack hit him squarely in the butt, tearing through his clothes and striking sensitive areas.
"AAAAH!" The man screamed as Feng Fan's spiritual qi ravaged his insides.
He was sent flying into the air, crashing into the wall of a shop. The impact shattered the wall, and his body came to a stop inside the shop.
Feng Fan turned to face the last man standing, a grin spreading across his face.
The man saw the grin and a shiver ran down his spine. He raised his hand in surrender. "I-I surrender!"
Feng Fan's smile widened. "You can escape with your life, but escaping unscathed is impossible."
He approached the man and struck his dantian with the Sealing Palm, severing his connection to spiritual qi.
Without hesitation, Feng Fan moved to the axe-wielder and sword-wielder, performing the same technique on them.
Once he had gathered all six men, he looked at them with a smile. "Gentlemen, I won't kill any of you, but if you want your cultivation back, it'll cost five thousand middle-grade qi stones each."
The spear wielder narrowed his eyes. "What if we refuse? Do you dare to kill us inside the capital?"
Feng Fan scoffed. "Kill you? What's your life worth? I've already told you what I want. If you refuse to pay, then get lost. But if you wait too long, the price will rise to more than five thousand middle-grade qi stones."
The spear wielder let out a mocking laugh, thinking Feng Fan was merely putting up a strong front while secretly fearing their powerful background.
He stood up and walked away, with the others following suit, each heading back to their respective families. They all shared the same thought: Feng Fan was too scared to kill them.
They also didn't believe that a technique from someone in the Foundation Establishment realm could not be undone by their elders, so they saw no reason to pay.
Feng Fan returned to Qian Xiaoli and grinned. "I think that's enough excitement for today. How about we head back to your place? I'm tired and could really use a comfortable spot to rest while I wait for my friends to return with the gifts."
Qian Xiaoli rolled her eyes, already knowing what he was really after. "You just want a safe to negotiate when their elders come after you, don't you?"
Feng Fan wasn't the least bit embarrassed and simply smiled in response.
Seeing she wasn't going to get a confession, she started walking toward her home. "Fine, let's go. I'm curious to see Uncle Duan's reaction. I hope he doesn't beat you to death when he finds out what you did."
Feng Fan chuckled. "Master is a very gentle soul. I'm sure he'll find it in his heart to forgive me!"
—
A few hours later, eight powerful men stood before the gates of Qian Xiaoli's manor. The guards, drenched in sweat, could hardly contain their nervousness as they faced these imposing figures.
The men exuded an aura of danger, each one seemingly ready to strike at any moment.
All of them were at the Dao Seeking realm!
Behind these men stood Feng Fan's eight friends, their faces filled with a mix of despair and anger. Their elders had failed to undo the seals on their dantian and had no choice but to seek out Feng Fan.
An imposing middle-aged man, his features strikingly similar to Yi Duyi's, stepped forward. "Where is the brat who dared to harm my son? Tell him to come out now!" he commanded. It was Yi Zian, Yi Duyi's father.
"Sir, please wait a moment! I'll inform the lady right away," the guard stammered before dashing off toward the cabin to alert his mistress as quickly as possible.
He dared not defy any of the men at the gate, any one of them could kill him without consequence.
When Su Liqiu, Qian Xiaoli's mother, heard the guard's frantic explanation, she turned toward her daughter and Feng Fan, who were lounging on the couch in her room with innocent expressions.
A puzzled look crossed her face.
"What did you two do? Even King Yi is here, and he seems furious with your disciple, Brother Duan."
Elder Duan shifted his gaze to Feng Fan, whose innocent smile only deepened the lines of irritation on the elder's face.
"King Yi is a powerful Dao Seeking realm cultivator. If I were to face him directly, I wouldn't stand a chance. How in the world did you manage to provoke someone like that in just a few hours?!"
"That was just a fight between members of the younger generation. I didn't even kill anyone. I was merciful enough. What more do they want?" Feng Fan said with a shrug.
"It seems they're here for Feng Fan to undo the seals he placed on their cultivation," Su Liqiu explained, though her expression betrayed her intrigue.
'How could Feng Fan, a mere Foundation Establishment realm cultivator, seal their cultivation in a way that even Dao Seeking realm experts couldn't undo?' She thought.

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC102 I Can Assure You That My Wife Does
"Seal?" Elder Duan asked, confused. "How did you manage that?"
"This is a personal technique of mine," Feng Fan explained.
"I told them I'd undo the seal for five thousand middle-grade qi stones, but they thought that was too little. So, they went to ask their elders for a larger amount. These young masters are very wealthy, and as a friend, I must help them bear this burden..." Feng Fan added, his expression exaggerated as if he had been wronged.
Seeing Feng Fan's expression and hearing his words, Elder Duan felt an overwhelming urge to slap him.
'No wonder Elder Jiang grounded this brat. Once this is over, I'm making sure he never leaves the sect again!'
Elder Duan took a deep breath. "Alright, let's go see them. You'd better not get into any more trouble!"
"Elder Duan, trust me, I'm not the type to seek out trouble!" Feng Fan replied, crossing his fingers behind his back.
Elder Duan rolled his eyes, no longer believing a word that came out of his disciple's mouth.
He stood up from the couch and headed toward the angry mob outside the manor, with Feng Fan, Qian Xiaoli, and Su Liqiu following closely behind.
When King Yi saw Feng Fan, he immediately recognized him as the one who had dared to harm his son. He unleashed his aura, pressing down on Feng Fan.
At first, Feng Fan felt an overwhelming force pushing him toward the ground, almost forcing him to kneel. However, he quickly circulated his cultivation technique, suppressing the pressure.
Elder Duan noticed King Yi's actions and waved his hand, creating a shield around Feng Fan to protect him from the oppressive aura.
He looked at King Yi with a disapproving expression. "King Yi, this isn't how the older generation should behave. Your son lost in a fair duel, and he didn't die. Act with some dignity."
"Hmph," King Yi dismissed Elder Duan's words. "We came here to demand that this bastard undo the seal he placed, or…"
Before he could finish, Feng Fan cut him off.
"Or what? Are you going to kill me? I'm curious what the Dao Seeking School would say about that. Not to mention, after killing me, your son would be a cripple for life. So, you'd better behave, old man!"
King Yi's eyebrows shot up in surprise, and many others present shared the same expression. They hadn't expected Feng Fan to show such disrespect to a Dao Seeking cultivator!
'Oh my god, this brat is going to be the death of me!' Elder Duan thought, clearly worried.
"You think the Dao Seeking School cares about you? Why don't you leave the capital and see if you'll make it back to your sect alive," King Yi sneered, his gaze filled with murderous intent as he fixed his eyes on Feng Fan.
"Whether the Dao Seeking School cares or not is none of your concern, but I can assure you that my wife does," Feng Fan replied, pulling Qian Xiaoli close and hugging her from the side. "I hope you're ready to face the emperor's wrath."
Qian Xiaoli didn't resist, her cheeks flushing slightly. But in her mind, she was about to lose it. 'I'm going to kill this bastard!'
Elder Duan and Su Liqiu were stupefied. 'When did they get married?'
King Yi, already aware of their relationship because of his son, grew worried. He didn't want to antagonize either the Dao Seeking School or the emperor.
What truly infuriated him wasn't the qi stones; they weren't an amount that would hurt him to pay. It was Feng Fan's disrespectful attitude. His complete lack of respect for him.
King Yi, no longer willing to argue with Feng Fan, tossed a sack containing five thousand middle-grade qi stones at him. "Here's the payment. Take it and undo the seal."
Feng Fan grinned as he accepted the sack. Using his spiritual qi, he quickly counted the stones before storing them in his space ring.
"Thanks! That's only ten thousand more to go," he said with a sly smile.
A vein bulged on King Yi's forehead. "What do you mean? Are you playing games with me?!"
Feng Fan feigned innocence. "Mr. Yi, I told them it was five thousand qi stones a few hours ago. Unfortunately, the price has gone up since then. It's now fifteen thousand middle-grade stones. If you're unwilling to pay, that's fine, but there's nothing else I can do."
'One day, I'm going to kill him!' thought King Yi, his eyes blazing with fury.
Feng Fan, sensing the hostility, maintained his smile. He wasn't concerned. King Yi wouldn't dare make a move against him once he returned to the White Crow Sect; it would be far too conspicuous.
With a growl of frustration, King Yi tossed another sack containing ten thousand middle-grade qi stones toward Feng Fan.
Feng Fan caught it effortlessly, his smile widening as he approached Yi Duyi. "Alright, stay still so I can treat you, my friend."
Feng Fan infused spiritual qi into his right hand, and then, delivered three crisp slaps.
The first landed on Yi Duyi's right cheek.
The second struck his left cheek with the back of Feng Fan's hand.
The third was another sharp blow to the right cheek for good measure.
King Yi, watching this display, exploded with rage. His spiritual qi surged uncontrollably, radiating pressure as his clenched fist launched an attack on Feng Fan.
A powerful wave of spiritual qi shot forward, tearing through the air and threatening to annihilate Feng Fan.
Under the overwhelming might of King Yi's strike, Feng Fan felt like an ant standing before an anteater. No matter what he did, death seemed inevitable.
Yet, he remained composed.
Elder Duan stepped in, positioning himself between Feng Fan and King Yi. With a casual wave of his hand, Elder Duan dispersed the attack.
"King Yi, I must remind you where you are and the consequences of harming my disciple!" Elder Duan's voice was stern, his gaze cold as it bore into King Yi.
Before King Yi could retaliate, Yi Duyi's voice rang out in surprise and joy. "M-My cultivation! It's back!"

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC103 Feeling Happiness After Getting Spanked
Yi Duyi felt overjoyed after having his dantian unsealed. Who would have thought being slapped could bring such relief?
This was a case of feeling happiness after getting spanked!
The expressions of everyone present froze in disbelief.
A seal on the dantian that even a Dao Seeking cultivator couldn't undo was resolved with nothing more than a few slaps to the face.
What kind of sorcery was this?
Feng Fan turned to King Yi with a confident smile. "It's done. Are you satisfied?"
King Yi narrowed his eyes but chose not to engage further. "Boy, what's your name? I'll be sure to remember it!"
"Ha! You think I'm scared of you? My name is Zhang Qi from the White Crow Sect!" Feng Fan declared boldly.
Su Liqiu and Elder Duan's eyes nearly popped out of their sockets at Feng Fan's shamelessness. Qian Xiaoli, already accustomed to his antics, simply chuckled softly.
"Good! I'll remember you, Zhang Qi!" King Yi said coldly before taking his son and flying off.
After King Yi and Yi Duyi departed, Feng Fan turned his attention to the remaining seven pairs of friends. "So, are you paying or not?"
Seeing King Yi, a man of higher status and greater strength, comply without protest, none of them dared to voice any dissatisfaction.
Still, they each silently etched the name Zhang Qi into their memories.
If an opportunity ever arose, they would ensure he regretted crossing them!
One by one, the elders begrudgingly handed over fifteen thousand middle-grade qi stones. Their juniors, following suit, reluctantly stepped forward to be treated by Feng Fan.
Each received three slaps, filled with Feng Fan's utmost care.
When the last one approached, Feng Fan raised an eyebrow in curiosity. It was the axe-wielding young man, now seated in a wheelchair.
"Hey, bro, why the wheelchair?" Feng Fan asked, then quickly recalled the earlier encounter.
This was the man he had struck with the Snake Entering the Cave technique.
'That technique is proving to be quite effective,' he mused with a smirk.
The axe-wielding man glared at him with smoldering resentment but clenched his teeth, refusing to answer.
"Alright, no need to hold a grudge. Your, uh, injury should heal in about a month, okay?" Feng Fan added nonchalantly, offering an insincere assurance.
After receiving his three slaps from Feng Fan, the axe-wielding man left with his elder.
Once everyone had gone, Feng Fan, still smiling, added, "I wonder if they'd be furious if they knew the technique would lose its effect in just a few days. I didn't even need to undo the seal myself."
This made Qian Xiaoli laugh heartily. "I can't believe it!"
Feng Fan smiled at her. "That's right. I didn't even need to slap them to undo the seal, but it sure was refreshing."
Hearing this, Elder Duan, who was standing beside him, glared at him in frustration. "Didn't you promise you wouldn't get into any more trouble?!"
Feng Fan looked at him innocently. "Master, what trouble did I get into? They paid me to slap them. I was simply providing the service they asked for!"
Each time Elder Duan heard Feng Fan, his frustration grew. "Never mind, let's go. The others should be arriving soon. You'll see the real reason I brought you here."
"Uh? There was a reason? I thought you brought me here to have fun," Feng Fan said.
Elder Duan shot a look at his disciple, a mix of scorn and anger in his eyes. Feng Fan decided to hold his tongue.
They waited in front of the main house, and soon, five more cultivators arrived. All of them were powerhouses in the Dao Seeking realm!
"Elder Duan, it's been a long time. How have you been, old man?" called the man at the forefront.
He was a small, middle-aged man with a gentle demeanor and a round belly, the kind of old friend who could drink until he passed out at a party, and would dance to his heart's content, without any shame, before passing out.
"Old Pan, as lively as ever, I see. It's good to see you," Elder Duan smiled warmly at his friend, the frustration caused by Feng Fan fading away.
"Su Liqiu, it's good to see you as well! And this must be your daughter, right? Qian Xiaoli? I've heard so much about her. She's truly a genius, following in her mother's footsteps."
Qian Xiaoli smiled in response. After the greetings were exchanged, all the cultivators gathered in front of Elder Duan.
"This is my disciple, Feng Fan. I brought him here to observe," Elder Duan said. "Today, we'll be maintaining the Su Family's protection barrier. If a tier 6 Array Master were to handle it alone, it would take a couple of weeks. However, with two tier 6 Array Masters and four tier 5 ones, we'll get it done in just a few hours."
Feng Fan knew that the people here to maintain the array didn't need this explanation; it was entirely for his benefit.
"Master, why does an array need to be maintained?" Feng Fan asked.
Elder Duan explained patiently, "As you know, arrays are created by altering the heavenly laws, which are similar to changing Dao laws. However, the heavenly laws don't allow these changes to persist indefinitely, so over time, they gradually dissipate the modifications made by the Array Masters."
Feng Fan nodded thoughtfully.
"Alright, let's move to our positions," Elder Duan instructed.
He and Elder Pan, both tier 6 Array Masters, moved to opposite sides of the manor, while the tier 5 Array Masters took positions at each corner. Before proceeding, Elder Duan enveloped Feng Fan in his spiritual qi, allowing him to stay nearby and observe.
"Pay close attention," Elder Duan said, his expression turning serious.
Feng Fan activated his spiritual qi vision. This was his best opportunity to witness his master working on a massive and powerful array, and he wasn't about to miss a single detail.
Elder Duan's hands quickly became infused with spiritual qi, moving in a precise, preset sequence. Each gesture seemed to resonate with the array, as though changing its deeper layers.

As Feng Fan observed, he noticed more than just the manipulation of spiritual qi—something far more profound was taking place. His spiritual qi vision couldn't fully capture it, but the longer he watched, the clearer it became.
'This must be Elder Duan infusing Dao laws into the array,' he thought, his curiosity and admiration growing.
The array structure began to shift. Previously, visible gaps marred its intricate design, but as time passed, those gaps gradually filled in, the structure seamlessly knitting itself back together.
Feng Fan watched with growing admiration, his focus sharpening. Without realizing it, he closed his eyes and stood motionless.
Return to Emptiness!
No longer relying on his sight, he began to sense the changes in the array with his mind. The delicate flow of energy, the harmony of the structure—it all resonated within him.
At that moment, Feng Fan recognized a flaw in his understanding of the Array Dao.
'I've been too dependent on my spiritual qi vision. Good thing Master brought me here, or I might have strayed down the wrong path,' he thought, a newfound clarity settling over him.
A few hours later, as Elder Duan finally ceased his movements, Feng Fan opened his eyes.
Elder Duan watched him intently, a flicker of curiosity and disbelief crossing his face. 'This kid... Could it really be?'
Unbothered by his master's gaze, Feng Fan focused inwardly.
He channeled spiritual qi into his fingers, moving them slowly. His movements didn't infuse Dao laws as Elder Duan did, but there was something different from the last time he created an array
Feng Fan's actions carried a natural harmony, a seamless synchronization between his mind and the spiritual qi he controlled. The precision and balance of his technique gave an air of profound understanding as if the Dao itself resonated with him.
A few minutes later, the array began to take shape.
With Feng Fan at its center, the ground within a few meters glowed brilliantly. A translucent golden dome materialized, its radiant surface shining brightly with energy.
As the array fully stabilized, the once-visible dome gradually faded, becoming invisible to the naked eye
A low tier 3 barrier array!
Elder Duan stood frozen in shock, his thoughts racing. 'Incredible! In less than a year, this kid has gone from a complete novice to a tier 3 Array Master!'
If Feng Fan already had a decent shot at ranking in the top five of the upcoming Array Dao competition, now there was no doubt. No one in the younger generation of the Qian Empire could compete with him!
Feng Fan turned to Elder Duan with a radiant smile, clasping his hands behind his back as he tilted his chin upward, striking a self-satisfied pose. "Well, Master, what do you think?" he asked, clearly fishing for praise.
Elder Duan, seeing his smug attitude, rolled his eyes. "Not bad, barely passable."
"No need to hold back on the praise, Master. I know you can do better!" Feng Fan said with a cheeky grin.
Elder Duan shot him a glare. "Brat, do you think I've forgotten what you pulled earlier? Your memory might be short, but mine isn't! The work here is done, let's head back."
Not giving Feng Fan a chance to reply, Elder Duan enveloped him in a cocoon of spiritual qi and soared into the sky, heading straight for the Su family's front door.
Since Elder Duan had waited for Feng Fan to finish creating his array, by the time they arrived back, the other Array Masters had already left, payment from the Su family in hand.
Only Old Pan remained, waiting for him.
"What took you so long, old man? Now that the job's done, let's have a drink. It's been ages since we've caught up!" Old Pan said with a hearty laugh. Explore more at empire
Elder Duan smiled and was just about to agree when he suddenly remembered Feng Fan standing beside him. His expression shifted to one of displeasure as he glared at his disciple.
"You are to stay here at the Su family estate and not leave," he said firmly. "I'll return tomorrow to take you back to the sect."
Feng Fan flashed an innocent smile. "Don't worry, Master. I, your most beloved disciple, would never dream of causing trouble for you!"
Elder Duan simply ignored the lies coming out of his mouth. After collecting his payment from Su Liqiu, he left with Old Pan.
Once Elder Duan was out of sight, Qian Xiaoli, who had been silently observing the exchange, turned to Feng Fan with a teasing grin. "It's a shame you're stuck here. A major auction is happening in just two hours, hosted by the largest merchant union on the Black Turtle Continent, the Golden Horizon Trade Alliance."
At the mention of an auction, Feng Fan's eyes lit up with excitement. "An auction? Why didn't you say so earlier? Let's go!"
'Isn't this where all protagonists find world-shaking treasures for a bargain? I can't miss this!' he thought, his mind racing. 'Now that I've got some money to burn, maybe I can snag something useful.'
Su Liqiu, who had been observing from the side, couldn't help but shoot her daughter a disapproving glance. "Qian Xiaoli, since when did you start encouraging others to defy their master? This is not how I raised you."
Qian Xiaoli looked at her mother with a wronged expression. "Mom, we're just going straight to the auction and coming back. What could possibly go wrong? Don't you trust me?"
Su Liqiu's resolve wavered as she saw her daughter's pitiful look. She couldn't help but soften. When it came to Qian Xiaoli, saying no was always difficult.
She thought about how much her daughter had endured before turning eighteen, especially due to her father's neglect.
"Alright, you both can go," Su Liqiu relented. "But I'll personally drop you off at the Golden Horizon Trade Alliance and pick you up right after the auction ends."
Qian Xiaoli threw her arms around her mother in a warm hug. "Thanks, Mom! You're the best!"
Feng Fan, watching the scene unfold, raised an eyebrow in amusement. 'So this sadist girl has a sweet side too... Who would've thought?'

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC105 Sky Breaker
Inside a carriage pulled by two big six-legged, horned horse-like creatures, Feng Fan, Qian Xiaoli, and Su Liqiu made their way through the bustling streets of the Qian Empire's capital.
A coachman sat at the front, expertly handling the reins to guide the creatures toward their destination, the Golden Horizon Trade Alliance, located outside the noble's district.
The interior of the carriage was both functional and elegant. Two plush couches faced each other, one on the front side and the other on the back. A window adorned the left wall, offering a view of the lively streets outside, while the right side featured a door for entering and exiting.
Qian Xiaoli and Su Liqiu sat on the front couch. Feng Fan, seated on the back couch, leaned casually against the soft upholstery.
'Why are we taking a carriage?' Feng Fan thought, glancing at Su Liqiu. 'Wouldn't it be faster if she just used her spiritual qi to get us there?' Despite his curiosity, he chose to keep the question to himself.
As they neared their destination, Su Liqiu turned to address both her daughter and Feng Fan one final time.
"Remember, do not leave the Golden Horizon Trade Alliance premises. I'll be here when the auction ends. Don't make me regret allowing you two to come along."
Both nodded obediently, not wanting to risk displeasing Su Liqiu.
A few minutes later, they arrived at their destination and stepped out of the carriage. True to its name, the Golden Horizon Trade Alliance was an enormous structure towering over forty meters high. Its exterior gleamed with golden paint accented by intricate black patterns, exuding an air of opulence and grandeur.
"Follow me," Qian Xiaoli said, not bothering to wait for Feng Fan's response before striding confidently toward the entrance.
A long queue stretched outside the building, with many people patiently waiting for their turn to enter. However, Qian Xiaoli bypassed the line entirely, walking along its side.
A clerk dressed in a sleek black-and-white uniform adorned with a golden plaque on his chest quickly noticed her and approached with a respectful demeanor. The golden plaque on his chest bore his name: Sun De.
"Lady Qian, will you be participating in the auction today? May I escort you to one of our private cabins?" the clerk asked politely.
Qian Xiaoli gave a curt nod in response.
The clerk noticed Feng Fan walking behind Qian Xiaoli and asked, "Is this your companion, Lady Qian?"
"Yes," she replied calmly. "He'll be participating in the auction with me."
The clerk gave a polite nod and turned to lead the way. Qian Xiaoli and Feng Fan followed as he guided them through the venue. The main hall featured a stage at the front, surrounded by rows of seats arranged like an Earth-style theater.
Instead of stopping there, Sun De led them up a staircase to an upper floor lined with private cabins, each designed to shield its occupants from view. Upon reaching the top of the stairs, Sun De stepped aside, allowing Qian Xiaoli and Feng Fan to select a cabin.
"If you require anything, Lady Qian, please don't hesitate to call on me," Sun De said with a respectful bow before descending the stairs, leaving them to settle in.
They sat side by side on the couch, and Qian Xiaoli began explaining the auction's mechanics.
"If you want to bid on an item, just press the button in front of us and state the amount of qi stones you're willing to offer. Keep in mind that each item is tied to a specific grade of qi stones. For example, if an item starts with a base price in middle-grade qi stones, only middle-grade qi stones can be used for that item."
Feng Fan nodded, taking in her instructions. "Got it. Thanks."
As he leaned back slightly, he mentally tallied his resources. 'I have about a hundred and fifty thousand middle-grade qi stones and almost ten million low-grade qi stones. Hopefully, that'll be enough for anything worthwhile that shows up.'
Continue your journey on empire
About half an hour later, once all the participants had taken their seats, a strikingly beautiful young woman stepped onto the stage. Her outfit, revealing enough to be considered more akin to a bikini, left little to the imagination.
It was clear she had been chosen for her looks, likely as a ploy to entice the male bidders into loosening their wallets.
'What a shameless and degenerate tactic,' Feng Fan mused, his thoughts tinged with disdain. 'No different from how real estate companies operate back on Earth.'
"Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, my name is Wan Yun, and I'll be your hoster today. For our first item, we have a top tier Spiritual sword, crafted by the renowned blacksmith Deng Zhong, hailing from outside the Mao Empire. Many of you are already familiar with the exceptional quality of Deng Zhong's weapons, so there's no need to elaborate further."
At the mention of Deng Zhong's name, murmurs rippled through the crowd.
'It seems Deng Zhong is quite a well-known figure,' Feng Fan thought.
As Wan Yun announced the item, a man dressed similarly to Sun De stepped onto the stage from backstage, carrying a sword which he placed at the center. Feng Fan activated his spiritual qi vision and immediately sensed the powerful aura emanating from the weapon.
"Because Deng Zhong wasn't satisfied with the result, he never gave this weapon a name. However, our Golden Horizon Trade Alliance has decided to call it Sky Breaker. The starting bid for Sky Breaker must be ten thousand middle-grade qi stones," announced Wan Yun.
Despite the sword seeming like a subpar creation from Deng Zhong, the crowd remained euphoric, and soon a fierce bidding war erupted.
"Twenty thousand qi stones!"
"Forty thousand qi stones!"
"Fifty thousand qi stones!"
One bid after another rang out, and Feng Fan couldn't help but think, "Trash to some, treasure to others."
"Sky Breaker sold to the gentleman number 50 for half a million middle-grade qi stones. Please proceed to the backstage to collect the weapon and complete your payment," announced Wan Yun.

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC106 It's Not The Su Family's Money
Feng Fan continued to watch as the next items were sold, but his interest remained minimal.
In fact, even if he had wanted to bid, he quickly realized he couldn't afford most of them. The cheapest item had been a tier 5 pill for heart demons with only 10% pill poison, priced at half a hundred thousand middle-grade qi stones.
'Ah, how tough it is to be poor,' he thought to himself.
Qian Xiaoli, seated beside him, didn't place any bids either. Feng Fan knew it wasn't because she lacked money, but because the items didn't interest her.

"Are you waiting for something specific?" Feng Fan asked, curious.
Qian Xiaoli turned to face him, a little surprised by his question. Usually, it was she who initiated the conversation.
"Yes, there's a heavenly treasure that can help strengthen my foundation and assist in my breakthrough to the Golden Core Formation realm. I came here specifically to buy it."
Feng Fan nodded. "I see. No wonder you didn't buy anything. How much do you think it will cost?"
Qian Xiaoli smiled. "At least three million middle-grade qi stones."
At the mention of the price, Feng Fan nearly choked on his own breath. "Isn't that something only Establishment realm cultivators can use? Why is it so expensive?"
"It's useful even for Nascent Soul cultivators, so the price isn't surprising. But don't worry, I have more than enough to buy it."
Feng Fan nodded, his attention drifting elsewhere. The next item, however, immediately caught his attention—it was exactly what Qian Xiaoli had been waiting for.
"Ladies and gentlemen," the auctioneer announced, "the next item is truly extraordinary. Not only can it strengthen one's foundation up to the Nascent Soul realm or below, but it can even aid in a breakthrough to the next realm! Behold, the miraculous Blue Mystical Apple!"
A clerk stepped forward, carefully presenting the item to the stage. The blue apple rested inside a transparent glass container, clearly visible to all the spectators.
"The starting bid for this rare treasure is two hundred thousand middle-grade qi stones!"
At the announcement, the crowd erupted in excitement, their enthusiasm reaching its peak. No previous item had come close to stirring such a reaction.
Although many present had already surpassed the Nascent Soul realm and had no personal need for the Blue Mystical Apple, they were eager to acquire it for their descendants.
This was similar to Qian Xiaoli's situation. The funds to purchase it didn't come from her, but from the emperor himself.
If Qian Xiaoli could successfully break through to the Golden Core Formation realm, her standing in the Young Generation Competition would at least be top five.
The crowd surged with bids as the price quickly climbed past two million middle-grade qi stones, but Qian Xiaoli remained silent, not yet making a move.
"Three million qi stones!" A voice rang out from a private cabin next to theirs. "I trust my friends will give King Yi a little face."
The veiled threat in his words didn't go unnoticed. Feng Fan rolled his eyes in disdain. "King Yi? Really? This third-rate villain can't even come up with a better line."
Whispers spread through the crowd as people hesitated, some believing the price had already reached its peak, while others feared offending King Yi and chose not to bid any higher.
Wan Yun, the host, wore a displeased expression. She earned a commission on every item sold, and she wasn't happy with King Yi's interference. She knew the Blue Mystical Apple could still fetch a higher price.
Wan Yun didn't let King Yi's interruption deter her. She maintained her composure and continued, "Anyone willing to bid higher? Going once…"
"Four million qi stones!" A voice cut through the tension. For the first time since the auction started, Qian Xiaoli made her move, increasing the price by a full million.
Feng Fan's eyes widened. 'Four million qi stones... With that, I could cultivate until the Nascent Soul realm…'
In his private cabin, King Yi's expression soured. He clenched his fists in frustration but remained silent. Four million was already beyond his budget for the Blue Mystical Apple.
"Going once, going twice, going three times, sold! We'll send a clerk for private cabinet number 659."
As the auction proceeded, a knock came at the cabin door.
"Come in," Qian Xiaoli called out.
The door opened to reveal Sun De, the clerk, holding the glass container with the Blue Mystical Apple inside. He stepped in gracefully and presented it to Qian Xiaoli.
"Lady Qian," Sun De said.
Qian Xiaoli retrieved a space ring containing the payment and handed it to him. In exchange, Sun De passed her the container with the Blue Mystical Apple, bowing slightly before exiting the cabin.
As the door closed, Feng Fan glanced at Qian Xiaoli. "You could've gotten it for less, couldn't you?"
A sly smile played on Qian Xiaoli's lips as she placed the fruit securely into her personal space ring. "Perhaps, but why bother? It's not the Su family's money; it's the Qian Emperor's. No need to hold back."
Feng Fan chuckled softly, nodding in understanding. "Makes sense."
The next item was soon unveiled, and Wan Yun's voice rang out.
"Ladies and gentlemen, our next treasure comes straight from the Dao Seeking School! This extraordinary item was discovered within the depths of an immortal ruin!"
Her words immediately sent waves of murmurs through the crowd, stirring their curiosity.
"An item from an immortal ruin? They're really auctioning something like that here?" one person shouted
"Hmph," another scoffed skeptically. "If it were truly extraordinary, the Dao Seeking School wouldn't part with it so easily."
The room buzzed with speculation, a mix of excitement and doubt filling the air as all eyes remained fixed on the stage.
The clerk stepped inside the stage with the treasure. Resting on a velvet cushion was a small, black circular plate.
As the next item was brought to the stage, Feng Fan felt his connection to the Suppression Relic stirring, resonating in a way it hadn't before.
Whatever was being presented seemed to provoke a profound reaction from it.
Feng Fan's eyes narrowed. 'This… it's no ordinary artifact.'

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC107 What It Feels Like to Sell One's Body
"This item is truly extraordinary," Wan Yun announced, "The Dao Seeking School tested it against a high Heavenly sword artifact, yet it sustained no damage whatsoever. On the contrary, the sword itself showed signs of wear. Unfortunately, despite their extensive efforts, they were unable to determine the purpose of this small plate."
The crowd's excitement visibly diminished at her words.
She knew saying the item's utility wasn't known would diminish its value, but the Golden Horizon Trade Alliance had a reputation to uphold, and couldn't deceive their customers.
To a company such as them trust and reputation were everything.
"The starting bid for this item is set at one thousand middle-grade qi stones," announced Wan Yun.
It didn't take long for the first bid to come in. "One thousand qi stones," declared a man with a scholarly look. "This item seems to have significant potential and research value. I'm very interested in it."
"Ah, that's Hu Qi," someone in the crowd whispered. "He's known for collecting ancient artifacts."
"Two thousand qi stones!" another voice called out from the audience. Clearly, Hu Qi wasn't the only one intrigued by the mysterious treasure.
"Three thousand qi stones!" Hu Qi countered without hesitation, his determination clear.
Feng Fan watched the bidding war unfold as the price quickly climbed past fifty thousand qi stones. His nerves began to get the better of him.
'This thing feels important to me,' he thought, 'I really hope the price doesn't go over one hundred and fifty thousand middle-grade qi stones…
Contrary to Feng Fan's feelings, Wan Yun was elated. She hadn't expected this item's price to increase so much.
"A hundred thousand qi stones!" Feng Fan called out, making his first bid since the auction began.
Unfortunately, his bid was quickly surpassed. "A hundred and twenty thousand qi stones!" Hu Qi announced without hesitation.
The crowd fell silent, no one else willing to bid on what seemed like a risky investment.
Gritting his teeth, Feng Fan made another bid. "A hundred and fifty thousand qi stones!"
"Two hundred thousand qi stones!" Hu Qi countered again.
Feng Fan's heart sank, despair creeping in. 'Dammit! Isn't this supposed to be the protagonist's lucky chance? At this rate, even if I sold my underwear, I couldn't afford it!'
Noticing his disappointed expression, Qian Xiaoli tilted her head slightly, a playful glint in her eyes. "Do you want it?" she asked softly.
Feng Fan turned to her, startled. Her words felt like a devil's whisper.
"Yes," he admitted.
Qian Xiaoli smiled mischievously. "I can help you get it… for a price."
Feng Fan instinctively leaned back, putting some distance between them. "What do you want?"
Her smile widened as she placed her hand lightly on his. "Nothing much. Just an hour of your time."
'Let me punish this body a little,' she thought, excitement dancing in her eyes.
Feng Fan shivered, instantly catching her intent. 'This sadist wants to steal my innocence!'
"Going once…" Wan Yun's voice echoed across the auction hall.
Feng Fan's mind raced. He didn't have time to hesitate—this item may be far too important to let go.
"Going twice…"
"Alright, I accept!" Feng Fan blurted out in a hurry.
Qian Xiaoli chuckled, clearly enjoying the situation, as she pressed the button to make her bid. "Three hundred thousand qi stones!"
At her bid, Hu Qi shook his head. "This has gone beyond reason. The item's not worth it anymore."
The bidding ended shortly after, and a clerk approached their cabin with the mysterious artifact in hand.
After completing the payment and handing the artifact to Feng Fan, Qian Xiaoli flashed a sly, razor-sharp smile. "A pleasure doing business with you. Don't forget, when we get back, you owe me that hour of your time…"
Feng Fan's body trembled slightly. 'So this is what it feels like to sell yourself… Not pleasant.'
He could only cling to a fleeting hope for his innocence, which felt doomed to slip away...
As more items were presented, neither Qian Xiaoli nor Feng Fan made another bid. Before long, the auction came to its conclusion.
"Ladies and gentlemen, that's all for today. Thank you for your time, and have a wonderful evening!" Wan Yun announced with a graceful bow.
Feng Fan and Qian Xiaoli exited their private cabin and made their way outside the Golden Horizon Trade Alliance. Waiting for them was the same elegant carriage that had brought them there.
The coachman stood by the carriage door, waiting patiently. As they approached, he opened it with a respectful bow, allowing them to step inside.
Seated within, Su Liqiu greeted them with a cheerful smile. "Did you two enjoy yourselves?" she asked warmly.
Qian Xiaoli returned her smile with a polite nod. Feng Fan, however, managed only a weak nod, his expression marked by a hint of self-deprecation. Su Liqiu didn't seem to notice his subdued demeanor.
"Alright, let's head home. Brother Duan should be returning tomorrow. I'll make sure a room is prepared for Feng Fan to stay in the manor," Su Liqiu said as the carriage began moving through the city streets.
Before long, they arrived at the Su estate. As the carriage came to a halt near the main mansion, the group disembarked. Your next journey awaits at empire
Standing by the door was the maid Feng Fan had seen upon his first arrival. She bowed respectfully and greeted them. "Lady Su, Miss Qian."
"Arrange a room for Feng Fan to stay the night," Su Liqiu instructed.
"Yes, my lady," the maid replied promptly before heading into the mansion to carry out the order.
Feng Fan started to follow her inside, but Qian Xiaoli placed a firm hand on his shoulder, stopping him. "Wait. I have something important to discuss with him first. Tan Qing, I'll bring him to his room later."
Su Liqiu and Tan Qing exchanged surprised glances but chose not to question her decision.
Feng Fan, however, turned to Qian Xiaoli with a look of visible apprehension, his unease written all over his face.
'This shit better be worth it!' Thought Feng Fan, thinking about the troublesome brick inside his space ring.
