Chapter 559 - 1

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC33 Hurry Up, Before My Feces Decompose

Feng Fan followed the instructions in the letter, soon arriving at a pond dimly illuminated by the moonlight. The pond was just two kilometers from the main peak.

Across the water, he saw Huang Xue, tied to a tree.

Without hesitation, Feng Fan circled the pond, and as soon as he reached her, he didn't wait for Zhang Qi to reveal himself. Instead, he began untangling the ropes restraining her to the tree.

"I'm sorry, Huang Xue. This is all my fault," he murmured, but she was unconscious, unable to hear his words.

A voice filled with malice shattered the night's silence. "Hahaha. Feng Fan, I hope you don't mind that I took something from you, seeing as you did the same to me."

Feng Fan didn't need to turn around to know who it was. Zhang Qi stood just a few meters behind him, hands casually behind his back.

Feng Fan finished untying Huang Xue and gently placed her beside the tree. He then turned to face Zhang Qi, who stood there, unhurried and waiting.

"You don't seem scared of the consequences of attacking Huang Xue. You do realize the elders will come after your head, right?" Feng Fan said, his voice steady.

Zhang Qi's smile twisted into one of anger. "If you hadn't stolen my map, would I have had to go against the sect? But fine, after I get my map back, even if the sect knows I'm responsible, I'll be long gone." He took a step closer. "Now, where is my map, Feng Fan?"

Feng Fan's reply was calm, almost mocking. "You can look for it in the Void Forest, but hurry up, before my feces decompose."

Zhang Qi's expression darkened, fury flashing in his eyes as he moved closer to Feng Fan. "You—" He paused, controlling his anger with visible effort. "You'll regret that."

His fury slowly melted into a cold calm. "So, you've already entered the immortal's legacy, huh? I heard you fought against more than thirty 1st Qi Cultivators and emerged victorious. If whatever treasure was inside there could turn someone like you, a useless, trashy nobody, into an invincible figure in the same realm, I can only imagine what I could achieve.

Feng Fan gave a wry smile. "If I told you that if you went there yourself, an old ghost would steal your body, would you believe me?"

Zhang Qi's thoughts seethed with anger. 'This Feng Fan must think I'm an idiot. I'll fucking torture him slowly.'

Feng Fan smirked inwardly. 'Indeed, he didn't believe me.'

Zhang Qi's voice dripped with malice. "Don't worry, you don't need to say anything. After I kill you, I'll search your body. Everything you took from me will be returned."

Feng Fan faced Zhang Qi calmly. He knew escape was not an option.

Even if he were alone, outrunning Zhang Qi would be nearly impossible. With the unconscious Huang Xue added to the equation, the idea of escaping was nothing more than a pipe dream.

As Zhang Qi and Feng Fan exchanged words, Huang Xue's eyelids fluttered open.

Her vision blurred at first, but as clarity returned, she saw Feng Fan standing in front of her, shielding her from the figure before them.

Realizing he had come to save her, a warmth spread through her chest, but it was quickly replaced by worry. She knew Feng Fan couldn't handle this opponent.

Her kidnapper was a 4th Qi Gathering realm cultivator!

"Feng... Feng Fan, run!" she called out, her voice strained but urgent. "He's at the 4th Qi Gathering realm. We can't beat him!"

Feng Fan heard her plea, but he neither flinched nor turned to face her. His gaze remained fixed on Zhang Qi, steady and resolute.

"We can't escape," he replied calmly. "You should go. He's here because of me. I'm sorry for dragging you into this, Huang Xue."

Huang Xue's eyes widened in disbelief. 'He... he's willing to sacrifice himself so I can escape?'

"No! Then we'll fight together," she declared, determination burning in her voice.

Despite the aches in her body from the beating she had endured, she pushed herself up from the ground. Her wood-elemental Qi coursed through her veins and meridians, healing her bruised muscles.

'This girl... she's truly a good friend,' Feng Fan thought, a hint of warmth touching his otherwise tense expression.

Zhang Qi's sinister laughter shattered the moment. "Aren't you two the perfect pair of lovebirds," he sneered. "But who said either of you would leave here alive? Today, both of you must die!"

Before Feng Fan could respond, Zhang Qi lunged forward. He closed the gap in an instant, moving at least twice as fast as Feng Fan could.

Zhang Qi's hand morphed into claws, crackling with Qi energy that shimmered like ghostly flames in the moonlight. His strike aimed directly at Feng Fan's chest.

'Ghostly Claw aimed at his chest,' thought Zhang Qi.

"Ghostly Claw!" Zhang Qi roared

Feng Fan knew exactly where Zhang Qi was going to strike, but he was too fast.

With no time to dodge, he crossed both arms over his chest, breathing according to the Heavens Suppression Arts to muster any qi he could to defend himself.

Zhang Qi's attack struck Feng Fan's raised arms, shredding his sleeves to pieces.

Feng Fan staggered back a few steps from the impact, pain radiating through his limbs as blood dripped down his forearms. Three deep claw marks marked both arms.

Gritting his teeth, Feng Fan quickly channeled qi into his wounds, replicating the technique he used for body remodeling in a desperate attempt to accelerate healing.

The moment Huang Xue saw Zhang Qi attacking Feng Fan, she moved into action.

Her fist aimed directly at Zhang Qi's head, but he sidestepped her effortlessly, his movements fluid and fast.

Before she could adjust her stance, Zhang Qi rushed to her side and launched a devastating punch at her ribs.

"Ghostly Fist!" he bellowed, his qi-infused strike burning with malevolence.

Unable to match his speed, Huang Xue took the full brunt of the attack. She crashed to the ground, her ribs aching and her clothes scorched where the qi burned through.

"Agh!" she gasped, clutching her side in pain, her body trembling from the sheer force of the blow.

"Huang Xue!" Feng Fan roared, his voice filled with fury as his gaze locked onto her trembling on the ground.

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC34 Stepping Into The Cultivation Path

Feng Fan, for the first time since arriving here, lunged into an offensive.

His body surged forward, closing the distance between himself and Zhang Qi with unyielding determination.

Zhang Qi's lips curled into a mocking smirk as he watched the attack. 'Only a trash at the 1st Body Forging realm? I don't even need to dodge this!'

'Underestimating me is your mistake,' Feng Fan thought, his eyes narrowing. 'If he lets his guard down, I can turn this to my advantage. I can't waste this chance.'

Feng Fan reached Zhang Qi in a flash, channeling every ounce of strength into a sharp, upward kick.

Family Jewel Destroyer Kick!

But as Feng Fan's foot moved, Zhang Qi countered with a sinister gleam in his eyes.

"Ghostly Fist!"

Zhang Qi's qi-infused punch streaked toward Feng Fan's lower chest.

Yet, before his attack connected, an ominous sensation crept up his spine—a primal warning that screamed danger.

'Impossible! How can a mere technique from someone three small realms below me make me feel such fear?!' he thought, his smirk replaced by a grimace of disbelief.

Realizing the foolish decision of exchanging wounds with Feng Fan, Zhang Qi's instincts kicked in.

He quickly redirected his punch, abandoning its trajectory toward Feng Fan's chest. Instead, his fist pivoted downward, aiming to intercept Feng Fan's leg as it arced toward his groin.

'Whatever this kick is, I can't let it connect!'

Feng Fan's kick and Zhang Qi's connected.

The impact sent pain across Feng Fan's right leg, his right leg slightly burned from the ghostly fire imbued in the punch.

Because of his damaged leg, Feng Fan almost fell to the ground, but he quickly circulated his breathing technique to heal the damage. It wasn't easy, because Zhang Qi's qi was much stronger than those he had fought before.

Zhang Qi's qi continued to wreak havoc inside his leg.

Fortunately, Zhang Qi wasn't much better, Feng Fan's kick was embodied with Dao laws. How could a mere Qi Gathering realm cultivator hope to intercept it unharmed?

'How is this possible?! A mere 1st Body Forging cultivator broke my hand with a single kick?!' Zhang Qi's mind reeled as he cradled his shattered right hand, pain radiating from the crushed bones.

The Family Jewel Destroyer Kick was no ordinary move—it delivered real damage, ignoring the opponent's defense, regardless of its target.

Zhang Qi knew he should no longer underestimate his opponent. 'Even if this guy was once trash, whatever he found inside the immortal's legacy made him a threat!' he thought, his face darkening with both anger and unease.

As Feng Fan staggered back, stabilizing himself despite his injured leg, Zhang Qi gritted his teeth and suppressed the pain in his broken hand.

Without hesitation, he channeled his qi into his left fist and surged forward.

'Ghostly Fist!' he snarled, aiming directly at Feng Fan's lower abdomen.

Feng Fan's eyes widened as Zhang Qi's intentions echoed in his mind. He instinctively tried to retreat, but his injured leg betrayed him, slowing his movements.

Crack!

Zhang Qi's punch struck, a surge of ghostly qi erupting on impact. The force shattered Feng Fan's dantian, the core of his cultivation, with a resounding crack.

Blood spilled from Feng Fan's mouth as his body was flung backward like a broken doll, tumbling across the ground before coming to rest with a heavy thud.

"Let's see how you crawl your way out of this, trash," Zhang Qi muttered, his voice dripping with malice as he approached Feng Fan.

Feng Fan gritted his teeth, forcing himself to focus through the haze of pain.

He knew he had to act quickly. Zhang Qi would no longer underestimate him, and the killing blow was coming after his life.

He considered trying to mend his shattered dantian using his breathing technique, but then, a realization struck like a bolt of lightning.

'The core must be cast aside, broken down, and recreated anew…'

The words from the manual echoed in his mind, now illuminated by the clarity of desperation.

'What is a cultivator's core? Of course—the dantian!'

Feng Fan's eyes widened as understanding dawned. The final step in completing his body remodeling was to destroy it and rebuild it anew.

A part of him questioned why this essential aspect of his cultivation, included in his earlier body remodeling, needed to be discarded now. But he shoved those doubts aside.

He didn't have the luxury to dwell on the reason.

Without hesitation, Feng Fan activated his breathing technique. However, instead of directing his qi to mend his cracked dantian, he focused it inward, commanding it to obliterate the core completely.

A sharp, internal explosion reverberated through his body as the dantian shattered into countless fragments, causing blood to spill from Feng Fan's mouth.

The tiny shards, infused with qi, surged into his 144 meridians, strengthening and expanding them in ways he had never imagined.

A new dantian, twice larger than the last, started gaining form inside him.

Body Remodeling: 99% → 100% Complete!

The transformation sent a wave of newfound vitality coursing through Feng Fan's veins and meridians. But before he could savor the surge of strength, a chilling sensation pierced his consciousness.

Zhang Qi, far from deterred by the sight of Feng Fan's bloodied state, felt an overwhelming sense of dread creeping over him. It was as though Feng Fan had become something entirely different—something more dangerous.

Determined to snuff out this threat before it grew any further, Zhang Qi moved with deadly speed, closing the gap between them.

"Ghostly Fist!" he roared, his qi-infused punch hurtling toward Feng Fan's head.

Feng Fan's body trembled, still paralyzed by the intensity of the remodeling process. He could only watch as Zhang Qi's attack approached, the specter of death casting its shadow over him.

'Is this… it?' Feng Fan thought, his mind racing as his body refused to respond. Time seemed to slow, the moment stretching into eternity as the punch neared its mark.

"Feng Fan!"

A desperate shout cut through the air—it was Huang Xue.

She threw herself between him and Zhang Qi, her body moving faster than her injuries should have allowed.

"Huang Xue, no!" Feng Fan shouted, his voice hoarse with panic.

Zhang Qi's qi-infused punch collided with her chest, sending her flying backward like a broken kite. She crashed into a tree with a thud, blood spraying from her mouth as she crumpled to the ground.

"HUANG XUE!"

Feng Fan's roar was filled with rage and anguish, echoing through the moonlit clearing. His eyes burned with fury as he turned to her motionless figure, lying in a pool of her own blood.

Pain forgotten, Feng Fan forced himself to his feet, his body trembling but resolute.

The qi that had surged from his new dantian, now roared to life, a storm of power he had never felt before. His cultivation had broken through.

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC35 A Black Brick?!

At the center of the Immortal World, the ruins of an ancient sect that once stretched its roots across thousands of kilometers stood.

On the ground, in front of the main hall of this ancient sect, was a wooden plaque. Though eons had passed and the plaque had long since been neglected, anyone with sharp enough eyes could still make out the Dao laws imbued in its words.

Heavens Suppression Sect.

These words were deeply engraved on the wooden plaque.

Inside a chamber within the same main hall—one untouched by the ravages of time—paintings adorned the walls. Each depicted a similar scene: a man wielding a solid rectangular black object, standing defiantly against the heavens.

At the center of the chamber stood an altar, and atop it rested the same solid rectangular black object. It was so black that no light could be reflected on it, all energy that touched its surface was absorbed.

It had remained dormant for eons, unaffected by the passage of time.

But now, after countless millennia of stillness, it trembled ever so slightly.

The object began to absorb the surrounding immortal spiritual qi. At first, it drew from the chamber alone, but its influence quickly expanded. Soon, all the immortal spiritual qi within thousands of kilometers had been drained dry.

As if driven by its own will, the object surged upward toward the sky, destroying anything in its path.

After ascending a few kilometers, it unleashed a powerful wave of qi ahead of it, tearing through space and time to create a rift.

Without hesitation, the object entered the rift, leaving the Immortal World behind.

This event didn't go unnoticed by the top dogs in the Immortal World. The ancient beings, who had lived through the era when that very object had once been active, trembled with fear as they watched it ascend into the skies.

"He has returned..." one muttered.

"The Leader of the Heavens Suppression Sect is back," another whispered.

Their voice was heavy with dread.

Feng Fan and Zhang Qi stood face to face, the tension between them thick enough to cut with a blade.

Zhang Qi could sense the change in Feng Fan. He was no longer the easy prey he had seemed moments ago. Zhang Qi now regarded him with the same caution he would reserve for an opponent of equal strength.

What neither of them noticed, however, was the ominous shift in the sky.

Dark clouds began to gather unnaturally, spreading across dozens of kilometers, with the two of them standing at the very heart of this brewing storm.

Rumble!

The rumble of thunder echoing through the dark clouds drew their attention to the sky.

A suffocating pressure descended, pressing heavily on Feng Fan, Huang Xue, and Zhang Qi.

Zhang Qi shuddered under the weight of the oppressive force, his gaze fixed on the ominous heavens. Recognition flashed in his eyes, and his voice trembled as he spoke.

"A heavenly tribulation? That's… impossible!"

He recalled the time before he began his cultivation journey when he had witnessed a distant expert facing a heavenly tribulation. The memory burned in his mind, and he knew this was far more intense than anything he had seen before.

His eyes darted toward Feng Fan, disbelief etched across his face. An unsettling realization clawed its way into his thoughts.

"You… you're the one causing this tribulation! It's targeting you! How in the heavens did you provoke this? What kind of cultivation have you practiced? Only an expert breaking into the Transcending Tribulation realm should face this!"

Feng Fan also realized he was the cause of the phenomenon, but the reason was unknown to him.

'I'm only breaking into the Qi Gathering realm. How could this happen? Do even the heavens want me dead?'

Doubt clouded his mind, but retreat was not an option. He knew the nature of a heavenly tribulation—there was no escape.

No matter how far he ran, the lightning would find him. His only path was forward.

"If the heavens want to strike me down, I'll fight against them for my survival!"

A fierce determination lit his eyes as he steadied himself under the oppressive storm. His thoughts sharpened, and a bold conviction surged within him.

"My Qi cultivation technique is called the Heavens Suppression Arts for a reason. Today, I, Feng Fan, will prove its name true and suppress the heavens themselves!" He declared aloud.

Zhang Qi watched the unfolding scene, his body trembling with fear. In the presence of a heavenly tribulation, he felt as insignificant as an ant.

Even though the tribulation wasn't directed at him, its overwhelming presence left him frozen in place.

The sheer pressure took away his courage, paralyzing him with fear.

Every fiber of his being screamed for him to turn and flee. His earlier greed, the desire to steal Feng Fan's cultivation technique, had completely vanished.

Yet, no matter how desperately he willed his body to move, it refused to obey.

As Feng Fan circulated his cultivation technique and prepared to face heaven's wrath without fear, he suddenly felt a strong pull on his hand.

Instinctively, he moved his arm upward and opened his hand. At that moment, a black rectangular object tore through space and landed in his palm, as if it were the most natural thing to happen.

"A black brick?!" Feng Fan exclaimed in surprise.

Words soon appeared in his mind.

Suppression Relic

That was the name of the mysterious brick, but Feng Fan had no time to ponder how it had come into his hand or why he felt such a strong connection to it.

Rumble!

A lightning strike surged toward him, and he instinctively knew what to do. Without hesitation, he hurled the brick skyward.

The brick moved as if it had a will of its own. As the lightning collided with it, the energy was absorbed entirely, vanishing as though it had never existed.

This only seemed to enrage the heavens further.

Rumble! Rumble! Rumble!

Multiple bolts of lightning descended in rapid succession, yet every strike was devoured by the brick without exception.

The Suppression Relic then launched itself higher, crashing into the storm clouds above. It began absorbing the boundless energy from the skies with relentless hunger.

Feng Fan stood below, watching the scene unfold in stunned amazement. "This brick is incredible!"

Before long, the once-dark clouds dissipated, leaving the sky clear and calm. The Suppression Relic returned to Feng Fan's hand as if it had always belonged there.

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC36 First Kill

After dealing with the Heavenly Tribulation, Feng Fan turned his gaze toward Zhang Qi, a sly grin spreading across his face.

'With this brick in my hand, why would I fear a mere Qi Gathering ant?'

Zhang Qi met Feng Fan's eyes, and a chill ran down his spine. If the heavenly tribulation had already terrified him beyond reason, what could he possibly do against the man who had effortlessly survived it?

'No, he didn't just survive it. He finished it off,' thought Zhang Qi.

Feng Fan could see the fear in Zhang Qi's trembling form. He knew the man wouldn't be able to fight back like this, so he decided to end things quickly before any unforeseen complications arose.

'The elders will be here any moment. There's no way they didn't notice the tribulation. The only reason they haven't arrived yet must be their fear of offending the expert they believe overcame it.'

Feng Fan clenched his jaw. He couldn't let anyone know his secrets—not the elders, and certainly not Zhang Qi, the only one who had seen everything. Whether it was to protect his secrets or because Zhang Qi had tried to kill him and Huang Xue, the man had to die.

Raising the Suppression Relic in his hand, Feng Fan prepared to strike. But as he poised to throw it, he hesitated, his hand trembling.

"Damn it, I've never killed a human before. How could this be easy?"

His thoughts turned to Huang Xue, whose life and death remained uncertain. Anger surged through him, chasing away his doubt.

"Mercy for my enemies is cruelty to myself!"

With newfound resolve, Feng Fan hurled the Suppression Relic.

Zhang Qi, still frozen with fear, didn't even attempt to move. The relic struck him squarely in the head, shattering his skull. Blood and brain matter splattered across the ground, painting a grim scene.

Zhang Qi's lifeless body hit the ground with a heavy thud as the Suppression Relic returned to Feng Fan's hand.

Without hesitation, Feng Fan stored the weapon inside his space ring and hurried over to Huang Xue. Circulating his cultivation technique to hasten his own healing, he knelt beside her and gently took her pulse.

"Thank goodness... she's still alive." Relief washed over him as he sensed the faint but steady rhythm of her life force.

"It seems her cultivation technique is slowly healing her. Her life isn't in danger."

Deciding there was little more he could do, Feng Fan sat beside her.

He needed rest too, and there was no escaping the fact that the elders would arrive sooner or later, drawn by the chaos he had caused.

While Feng Fan fought for his life against Zhang Qi, within the White Crow Sect's main chamber, several figures gathered for a discussion. Among them were Elder Jiang, Elder Zou, Elder Yao, and Sect Master Yin Jian.

"Is everything ready for tomorrow's assessment to recruit new disciples?" Yin Jian asked, his voice calm.

Elder Jiang, the one responsible for overseeing these matters, gave a confident nod. "Yes, Sect Master. Around five thousand candidates are expected to participate this time. If fortune favors us, we may be able to recruit about five hundred official disciples."

Yin Jian acknowledged this with a slight nod. "Ten percent would indeed be an acceptable result. However, even if we don't uncover any exceptional prodigies, the talents we've already brought in from Earth are more than sufficient. Our priority should be to strengthen them for the upcoming competition. You all understand what's at stake if we fail to secure a top position this time."

The atmosphere grew heavy as the elders exchanged grave looks. Failure wasn't an option.

"How are Huang Xue's and Xue Qiang's training progressing?" Yin Jian inquired, shifting his focus to their respective mentors.

Elder Zou responded first, his tone respectful. "Sect Master, Xue Qiang's progress has been exceptional. Her immortal-grade talent is truly unparalleled. She is on the verge of breaking through to the third stage of the Qi Gathering Realm."

Elder Yao added, "Huang Xue's progress is equally impressive, but her combat style differs from Xue Qiang's. Her wood-element abilities excel in group battles rather than direct confrontations."

"It's fine," the Sect Master replied calmly. "Both of them will have their chance to shine. The young competition isn't solely about individual strength."

"Sect Master, there's something important I'd like to report," another elder spoke up, his tone slightly hesitant.

"Go ahead, Elder Peng," Yin Jian said, gesturing for him to continue.

Elder Peng He, Peng Hui's father, was among the weaker elders present, only at the peak of the Nascent Soul Realm. However, his skills as an alchemist earned him significant respect and influence within the sect.

"There was an unusual event in the arena today," Elder Peng began, his voice carrying intrigue. "A young cultivator at the 1st Body Forging Realm single-handedly defeated more than thirty Qi Gathering Realm disciples."

The room fell silent, the elders momentarily stunned. Such a feat was unheard of, even more so for someone at the Body Forging stage.

"Elder Peng, are you certain of this information?" Elder Cui Yingjie asked, his excitement was evident. "What's the disciple's name? A youngster like this might be a prodigy in the Body Cultivation path!"

Elder Cui, a towering figure in the Divine Strength Realm and a black mustache, was the only body cultivator among the elders.

Anticipation was visible in his expression. 'This could be my opportunity to mentor a true talent,' he thought as he stretched his muscular arms.

"His name is Feng Fan," Elder Peng replied. "If I recall correctly, he was the one summoned from Earth with a trash-tier talent."

Elder Jiang's eyes widened in surprise. When he initially suggested Body Cultivation for Feng Fan, it had been more of an afterthought. Earthlings rarely excelled in the painful Body Cultivation path, often crumbling under the pain.

He had expected nothing from Feng Fan, much less that he would do so well in it!

Elder Cui burst into hearty laughter, his voice booming through the chamber. "Hahaha! Excellent! I'll speak to this young one tomorrow. Mark my words. This Feng Fan will be my disciple, no matter what!"

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC37 If I'm Eating Soft Rice, It'll Only Be From Young, Beautiful Women!

As Sect Master Yin Jian pondered the situation, a deafening clap of thunder shattered the silence.

Rumble!

The sound reverberated through the chamber, and the elders immediately recognized the distinct energy emanating from it.

Most of those present were in the Dao Seeking Realm, and given their proximity to the epicenter, they could clearly sense the heavenly laws intertwined with the thunder.

"This... This is a heavenly tribulation!" Elder Jiang exclaimed, his voice heavy with astonishment. "Someone must be attempting a breakthrough to the Transcending Tribulation realm."

He paused, his gaze shifting toward Elder Duan Ping, the sect's foremost Array Formation Master. Elder Duan was responsible for the sect's critical arrays, including the protective barrier designed to detect and repel any intruders.

"Elder Duan, did the barrier detect any intruders?"

Elder Duan shook his head. "The barrier is intact. It's impossible for a Return to Void cultivator to infiltrate without triggering an alert or outright destroying the array."

Elder Jiang frowned, the perplexity of the situation weighing on him. "This is strange indeed. Why would someone risk entering our sect grounds to attempt such a breakthrough? It doesn't make any sense."

The Sect Master spoke firmly. "Let's find out the cause of this. No matter what happens, we must wait until the breakthrough is complete and the individual has recovered. Offending a Transcending Tribulation cultivator is out of the question. If he's from the Qian Empire, he'll instantly become its strongest existence."

The elders nodded in agreement and began to leave the chamber. They remained on the main peak, observing the phenomenon from a safe distance.

To their astonishment, the thunder that fell from the heavens did not hit a person but instead, struck a black, unidentified object.

This mysterious object soared through the skies, absorbing the lightning strikes effortlessly and tearing apart the heavens!

"Oh my god!" Elder Jiang exclaimed, his voice trembling with shock. "What kind of artifact could this possibly be? To absorb heavenly lightning tribulation so easily... not even an immortal-tier artifact should be capable of such a feat!"

Artifacts, in the Red Pole planet, including weapons, were typically classified into five tiers based on their power: Mortal, Profound, Spiritual, Heavenly, and Immortal.

"This must be something beyond the immortal tier," the Sect Master said, his expression grave. "But what that means exactly... even I cannot say."

They waited for a few minutes, then decided it was time to investigate and see who this supposed expert was, the one who dared to make a breakthrough in their sect's territory.

To their astonishment, there was no sign of any such expert nearby. At first, they assumed he must have already left.

Instead, they found three disciples. One of them lay dead, his head smashed beyond recognition.

Elder Jiang's eyes widened in shock as he recognized two of the remaining disciples. "Huang Xue? Feng Fan? What are you two doing here? And why are you so badly injured?"

Yao Meixiu, Huang Xue's master, was the first to act.

The moment she saw Huang Xue injured, she appeared by her side and gripped her pulse.

She used her consciousness to carefully inspect her body's condition. She let out a sigh of relief upon confirming that Huang Xue's life wasn't in danger.

'It would be a tragedy to lose such a promising disciple,' she thought.

Channeling her spiritual qi, she began to heal Huang Xue. Within seconds, Huang Xue's wounds disappeared entirely, as if she had never been injured at all.

Yao Meixiu's gaze then shifted to Feng Fan, who was sitting nearby with visible injuries. Deciding to extend her help, she moved toward him. However, just as she was about to touch him, Feng Fan opened his eyes and stopped her.

"Lady, please! Have some decency," he protested, his tone both serious and exaggerated. "Only married couples should touch each other like that. If you touch me, how am I going to find a wife?"

Feng Fan was well aware that his injuries weren't a serious issue. Thanks to his cultivation technique, which greatly enhanced his natural healing, he would recover completely within half a day.

However, he didn't want to risk Yao Meixiu discovering his unique physique. If she examined him closely, she would undoubtedly notice his abnormally large dantian and the presence of 144 meridians—something far beyond ordinary.

Yao Meixiu's face flushed in a rare moment of embarrassment.

She was a highly sought-after beauty, admired by many for her exceptional healing skills and graceful demeanor. In the eyes of countless admirers, she was the perfect wife.

Since when had anyone dared to treat her with such disrespect?

Still, she reminded herself 'He's just a child, calm down…'

Suppressing her irritation, she calmly explained, "Disciple, I only wish to heal you. Rest assured, it won't affect your chances of marriage in the slightest."

Feng Fan, however, shook his head firmly. "No need, I'm fine," he said, his tone resolute. "I don't want people saying an old hag touched me! Imagine the rumors—that I, Feng Fan, depend on an old woman for help. If I'm eating soft rice, it'll only be from young, beautiful women!"

Yao Meixiu's anger flared. For a moment, she wanted to lash out and kill this insolent disciple.

'Old woman? Old woman?! I'm only a few hundred years old!' she fumed internally.

Yao Meixiu could be considered a young Dao Seeking cultivator, she was less than two thousand years old.

The other elders observing the scene were equally stunned.

'How does this kid's logic even work?' they thought, utterly baffled.

Elder Jiang, meanwhile, watched with exasperation. 'Why are all the people from Earth so strange?' he mused.

Realizing the situation was getting out of hand, Elder Jiang decided to intervene before things escalated.

While Yao Meixiu was known for her gentle temperament, Feng Fan was testing her patience in the worst way.

"All right, since he insists he doesn't need healing, why don't we let it go?" Elder Jiang stepped forward, his tone calm, hoping to diffuse the tension.

Yao Meixiu glared at Feng Fan for a moment before deciding that stooping to his level would be beneath her.

With a sharp "Hmph," she turned away, carrying the unconscious Huang Xue in her arms.

Watching her leave, Feng Fan let out a long sigh of relief.

"Feng Fan," Elder Jiang said, his tone stern. "Can you explain exactly what happened here? Why is there a dead disciple, and why are you and Huang Xue so severely injured? And most importantly, who was the mysterious expert that we sensed earlier?"

'Elder Jiang is really ruthless… The mysterious expert information is more important than the dead disciple,' thought Feng Fan.

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC38 How Could He Eat Soft Rice With This Face?

Feng Fan feigned a scared expression before beginning his explanation, though he had no intention of revealing the truth.

"Elder Jiang, it's like this… That damn Zhang Qi, a senior disciple with no regard for the sect's rules, found out about my fight against thirty Qi Cultivation disciples. He wanted to steal what he believed was a powerful defensive technique."

Elder Jiang nodded slightly, already aware of some parts of the story, where Feng Fan fought against thirty Qi Cultivation disciples.

Noticing this, Feng Fan adjusted his narrative. 'So they already know the basics? Good, less work for me.'

"Zhang Qi approached me earlier, claiming he wanted to buy my so-called technique. But I don't even have a technique! How could I? I'm just a poor, unfortunate soul who was kidnapped from Earth by malicious people, only to be discarded as useless trash…"

Elder Jiang's face flushed. 'This brat! He's mocking me!'

Feng Fan inwardly smirked, thoroughly enjoying his indirect jab at Elder Jiang. By implying that Jiang, a Dao Seeking expert, had misjudged him, he was subtly undermining the elder's reputation.

The other elders present, all old monsters in their own right, caught onto the underlying meaning immediately and couldn't help but chuckle.

Feigning obliviousness, Feng Fan continued. "It's just that I'm naturally suited for body cultivation. My body is stronger than most, which must be why they assumed I had some miraculous defensive technique."

The elders exchanged knowing glances. Not one of them believed him.

The only plausible explanation for Feng Fan's abilities was that he possessed a divine body, an existence as rare as phoenix feathers, or a powerful technique.

Although they believed the latter was more plausible, stealing from a junior, no matter how exceptional the said technique was, was beneath their dignity.

"When I told Zhang Qi that I didn't have any technique to give him, he got furious and said I would regret it. Of course, I was a little scared," Feng Fan continued, his voice trembling slightly as he played up his innocence. "But I trusted that the White Crow Sect, a moral and upright immortal sect, would never allow one disciple to kill another within its grounds."

Elder Jiang's expression darkened further. 'This brat… Is he implying we shouldn't steal from him? Does he really think so little of us?' Every word out of Feng Fan's mouth seemed tailored to strike a nerve.

"Who would have thought Zhang Qi would aim for Huang Xue instead? After she came to visit me late at night, he immediately kidnapped her and sent me a threatening letter. He said that if I didn't come here alone, he would kill her…"

The elders exchanged shocked glances. 'A late-night visit? Didn't Feng Fan say he'd only eat soft rice from young, beautiful women? Isn't Huang Xue, with her immortal-level talent, exactly perfect for that?'

Some of them looked at Feng Fan's face and couldn't help but wonder, 'How could someone like him, who wasn't handsome, even dream of eating such soft rice?'

Elder Yao, Huang Xue's master, frowned deeply. She resolved to better instruct her disciple on how to resist the charms of unscrupulous men in the future.

Feng Fan carried on, his tone growing more dramatic. "Of course, I, Feng Fan, would never abandon my friend! So I came here and fought Zhang Qi valiantly, but he was too strong! If not for the mysterious expert who appeared out of nowhere, I wouldn't be standing here now. That expert said I had an exceptional talent for body cultivation and even took me as his disciple!"

"He killed Zhang Qi," Feng Fan continued, "but because he was stronger than an Immortal Body Ascension realm cultivator, the heavenly laws punished him for lingering in the lower realms. Before leaving, he imparted to me his profound body cultivation technique. And just like that, he disappeared."

Gasps rippled through the group. An expert appeared, but he wasn't making a breakthrough to the Transcending Tribulation realm as they thought. He was an Immortal Body Cultivator!

'That would explain how he managed to enter the barrier without triggering an alert or breaking it. Immortals truly possess abilities beyond comprehension,' thought Elder Jiang.

Feng Fan sighed in relief. He wasn't sure if the heavenly laws would truly punish an immortal for descending to the lower realms, but he gambled that even if they didn't, the people present wouldn't know.

The place he was in, a remote corner of the Black Turtle Continent, was likely one where immortals had never been encountered. It seemed his bet had paid off.

All the elders present wore thoughtful expressions, but there was one who seemed to mourn in regret, Elder Cui.

'I finally found an exceptional body cultivation talent who could inherit my mantle, only to have him taken right from under my nose… How can I accept this?!'

"I understand, thanks for explaining. This bastard Zhang Qi really deserved to die. You did well upholding the sect's rules and morals, and fighting to save Huang Xue. I'll personally reward you with cultivation resources from my own reserves," said Elder Jiang, though internally, he was fuming.

'This bastard Feng Fan, the sect is already giving all the resources to the exceptional disciples from Earth, and there's nothing left to spare for him. But I can't let him say that we are stingy, ungrateful, and don't repay merits... I'll have to give him a little from my own resources,' thought Elder Jiang.

Feng Fan, hearing his thoughts, felt very pleased. Today, he had hit many birds with a single stone.

'Zhang Qi is out of the picture, and with my nonexistent mysterious master, the sect won't dare to touch me easily. Plus, I still gained resources for saving Huang Xue!'

Feng Fan glanced at Elder Jiang's forced smile and couldn't help but smirk in response. He cupped his hands respectfully. "Thank you, Elder Jiang. I promise to make good use of the resources you are going to provide."

'This little brat… he's too cunning!' Thought Elder Jiang.

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC39 Limping My Way Home

After assessing the situation, the elders didn't stay long. They left as quickly as they had come, leaving Feng Fan alone by the lake.

'Seriously? These elders are heartless. Couldn't they at least give me a ride back to the main peak?'

Feng Fan was about two or three kilometers from his room, and it was already late at night.

If he weren't injured, the journey would have been easy, but his right leg was still hurt from his fight with Zhang Qi. The walk back would take longer than he liked.

Sighing, Feng Fan decided to limp his way home. By the time he arrived, the sky had already brightened—it was morning.

'Well, at least I don't have to wake up early,' he thought with a bitter smile.

Without bothering to change or even clean up, he collapsed onto his futon and fell asleep, completely unconcerned about the world around him.

A few hours later, Feng Fan woke up groggily, slowly taking in his surroundings. His gaze shifted—and then froze. Beside his futon, seated on her knees, was a figure that absolutely shouldn't be there.

When he met the figure's cold smile, his heart nearly leaped out of his chest.

"Qi-Qinqin, w-what are you doing here?" he stammered.

"Oh, Fanfan, I was just waiting for you to wake up. I hope you don't mind," she replied, her voice soft and gentle. But her cold smile and the murderous intent blazing in her eyes told a different story.

"It's getting a little hot in here, no?" Feng Fan said as the temperature around Xue Qiang was slowly rising.

It didn't take long for Feng Fan to figure out why she was there.

'Why? Why was Huang Xue visiting you late at night, Feng Fan... WHY?' she thought, fury bubbling beneath her calm exterior.

Feng Fan heard her thoughts and couldn't help but curse internally. 'Damn that nosy, gossiping master of hers! Why does one problem show up right after the other? God, please, give me a break!'

Outwardly, he forced a warm smile. "Of course not, you can come here anytime you want, Qinqin. But why were you waiting for me to wake up?"

Xue Qiang tilted her head, her chilling aura intensifying.

'I just wanted to decide whether to kill Huang Xue and lock you inside my room from now on… Hmm, maybe that's too extreme. What should I say?' she mused silently, sending an involuntary shiver down Feng Fan's spine.

"My master told me something interesting yesterday," she said, her tone casual. "Apparently, Huang Xue from our class came here to visit you late at night. She got captured, and you risked your life to save her. How touching. But tell me, Fanfan... why was she here in your room? Are you betraying me?"

'Betraying you? How could I betray you when we don't even have a relationship to begin with?!' Feng Fan screamed internally, but on the outside, he maintained a calm demeanor.

Still wearing his fake warm smile, he locked eyes with her and said, "Qinqin, don't misunderstand. Huang Xue is just a friend. She happened to be passing by and decided to stop for a quick chat. That's all."

Xue Qiang's eyes narrowed, a smile no longer on her face. "Oh, really? Since when do you have female friends? Back on Earth, you didn't seem close to any girls at all… Could it be, now that you're in this world, you're planning to build your own harem?"

Her voice grew colder with each word, and her smile was replaced by an icy expression that chilled Feng Fan to his core.

'Why the hell did I even bother trying to explain myself?' Feng Fan thought, frustrated.

Realizing that no explanation would penetrate this crazy woman's head, he decided to take a different approach. Without hesitation, he grabbed Xue Qiang's wrist and pulled her closer to him.

"Ah!" Xue Qiang let out a startled gasp.

His face was so close to her that she could feel his warm breath against his skin.

The sudden proximity made her heart race, not from anger this time, but from being so close to the person she loved.

Feng Fan's intense gaze and the closeness of his lips left her blushing uncontrollably, her tough demeanor melting into an embarrassed expression.

"Qinqin," he said in a low, serious tone, "you're the only one I've ever kissed. I've never kissed anyone else."

Before she could react, Feng Fan closed the gap between them, pressing his lips softly against hers.

This time, Xue Qiang was as timid as a rabbit. Feng Fan invaded her mouth with his tongue, and she just silently responded to his advances.

This kiss didn't take long, thought. After a few seconds, Feng Fan separated from her.

"Y-You better not be lying to me…" she muttered weakly.

Her embarrassed expression was so adorable that Feng Fan couldn't help but feel the urge to pinch her cheek. 'This crazy girl is way too cute!'

Unable to resist, he reached out and gently pinched her left cheek.

"Ah!" she yelped in surprise, pulling back slightly.

"What was that for?" she asked, her face puffed up in an indignant pout.

Feng Fan chuckled at her reaction. 'Looks like I found her weakness. When I take the initiative, she's as timid as a rabbit.'

"Sorry, Qinqin, your face was just too cute. I love it when you look at me like that," he admitted without thinking.

Xue Qiang's eyes lit up, and a wide smile spread across her face. "R-Really? You love it? I'll do it more for you, then!"

'HE SAID HE LOVED SOMETHING ABOUT ME! HE LOVES ME?!' she screamed internally.

Feng Fan, meanwhile, froze. 'What the hell? When did I say I love her?!'

Before he could process her reaction, Xue Qiang moved closer, wrapping her arms around him and resting her head on his shoulder.

"Sorry, Fanfan," she murmured softly. "I just get too jealous when other women come near you… Don't hate me. I'll try to hold back more from now on, okay?"

Feng Fan, surprised by the sudden embrace, found himself enjoying it. He gently stroked her hair. "It's okay. Just don't try to kill anyone out of jealousy, alright? Promise me."

'No,' she thought without hesitation.

"Okay, I promise," she said with a sweet nod.

"…"

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC40 Are You a Pig?

After Xue Qiang left, Feng Fan took a shower and changed into fresh clothes. His old outfit was too damaged to be of any use, so he handed it over to a menial disciple to dispose of.

Another set of clothes would be provided to him later that day.

'Alright, time to figure out my next steps. Let's start with this,' Feng Fan thought as he retrieved the Suppression Relic from his space ring.

Feng Fan tried infusing spiritual qi into the artifact, but nothing happened.

Not giving up, he circulated his breathing technique in line with the Heavens Suppression Arts. This time, there was a response.

A torrent of information surged into his mind. Feng Fan quickly recognized it—it was the Heavens Suppression Arts manual. However, unlike the version he had studied, this one was far more complete.

Though much of it was still beyond his comprehension, the knowledge was firmly imprinted in his mind.

'So, the manual I had wasn't the full version after all…'

As he delved deeper into the new information, revelations began to surface:

'For instance, the previous manual didn't explain well enough how to advance my realm, only stating that the Heavens Suppression Arts is both a body cultivation and qi cultivation technique. It didn't mention that I had to advance in both paths simultaneously.'

'This means that to step into the 2nd Qi Gathering realm, I must also advance into the 2nd Body Forging realm at the same time.'

Feng Fan continued analyzing the information:

'Another crucial difference is how my body must be cultivated. Unlike standard body cultivators, I can't train using external objects like elixirs. To strengthen my body, I have to circulate refined spiritual qi through it, processed specifically by the Heavens Suppression Arts.'

'Natural resources can still aid my cultivation, but they must first be converted into pure energy through my arts. This technique is incredibly strict about purity. It won't allow my body to be tainted by impure or external energies.'

'Hopefully, this won't slow down my progress. I wonder how I compare to Huang Xue and Xue Qiang, those so-called immortal-level talents.'

While thinking, Feng Fan began tossing the Suppression Relic up and catching it with the same hand, as if it were a ball.

'There isn't a manual on how to use this thing, though. It seems capable of absorbing a lot of energy, but where does it go?'

Feng Fan closed his eyes and tried circulating his breathing technique again, but this time, instead of being passive, he focused his consciousness inside the relic, just as he did with the space ring.

Similar to the space ring, he saw the heavenly lightning trapped inside. The Suppression Relic worked like a space ring, but instead of storing items, it stored energy!

Feng Fan's eyes snapped open in surprise. "Incredible! It means I can lock away any energy to use later, right? Maybe… even for cultivation?"

New possibilities opened up for Feng Fan.

'This heavenly lightning… Can I… use it?'

A bold idea filled Feng Fan's mind, and he couldn't help but try it.

He sat cross-legged and began circulating his cultivation technique with the Suppression Relic in his hand.

His consciousness entered the relic, and he slowly tried to draw out the heavenly lightning, but only a small bit of it—so small that it was almost unnoticeable.

The heavenly lightning passed through his dormant meridians and started wreaking havoc. Even though it was just a tiny amount, it still contained the force of heavenly laws.

For a Qi Gathering realm cultivator to handle it would be suicidal.

Feng Fan gritted his teeth and focused his qi to envelope the lightning. His Heavens Suppression technique seemed to be a perfect fit for this task.

Slowly, it began to consume the energy inside the lightning and convert it.

Hours passed, and before Feng Fan realized it, two entire days had gone by!

The process was tiresome and painful, but it yielded results. When Feng Fan stopped cultivating, he had reached the peak of both the 1st Qi Gathering realm and the 1st Body Forging realm—only one step away from the 2nd realm.

He had awakened 16 of his meridians!

Feng Fan opened his eyes and felt the changes in his body.

'Incredible. With this, at least for the next few months, maybe even years, I won't have to worry about cultivation resources. I can just use this heavenly lightning to improve my realm.'

Feng Fan began laughing like a madman. "Hahahaha! The heavens tried to kill me, but they ended up helping me instead. Truly, a protagonist's aura is amazing! It can turn disaster into opportunity. This is what I call plot armor!"

After the initial excitement of his cultivation faded, Feng Fan glanced around and was surprised to see a neatly folded set of clothes and a pile of food near his door.

Grrrrumble!

His stomach's growl reminded him just how hungry he was. "Wow, no wonder people can cultivate for years in retreat. I thought only a few hours had passed, but it's been at least two days."

Feng Fan quickly stopped cultivating, stored the new clothes in his space ring, and began devouring the food.

Despite the generous portions, it didn't seem like enough. His body craved more sustenance, demanding more than ever.

"I should probably start hunting for my own food. Maybe demon beasts would be more nourishing than ordinary meals."

Knock. Knock.

The sound at the door snapped Feng Fan's attention away from his thoughts.

"Who is it?" he called out.

"It's me, Elder Jiang," came the familiar voice.

'Elder Jiang?' Feng Fan was taken aback.

He hadn't expected Elder Jiang to come personally. He thought the resources would be delivered by a menial disciple, like before.

"I'm coming," Feng Fan replied, rising from the ground and heading to the door.

As he opened it, he smiled warmly. "Please come in, Elder Jiang. Make yourself comfortable."

Even though he didn't urgently need cultivation resources, he certainly wouldn't complain if a wealthy old man showed up at his door with a bunch of rare delicacies.

Elder Jiang stepped inside, but the moment he looked around, he froze. For a brief second, he wondered if he had entered a pigsty instead of a disciple's quarters.

Though the room was simple in design, Feng Fan had somehow managed to make it an absolute mess.

Elder Jiang turned to Feng Fan with a deadpan expression, locking eyes with him. "The futon is a disaster, there's a mountain of dirty plates scattered on the floor, and your cauldron looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks. How in the heavens did you manage to turn such a basic room into this chaos? Are you a pig?"

Feng Fan glanced around the room, his face tinged with embarrassment. Elder Jiang was right—the place was a complete mess. To make matters worse, he realized he had even damaged the futon during his cultivation without noticing it.

There were scorch marks on the futon, left behind by the heavenly lightning that had surged through his body.

"Ugh, I'll—" Feng Fan began, but Elder Jiang cut him off.

"Forget it. Just have a menial disciple clean this mess later. Don't waste your cultivation time on trivial matters. Besides, I have something important to discuss with you, that's why I came here personally."

Feng Fan's face twisted into a strange expression. 'Since when does this guy care about my cultivation?' he thought.

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC41 The Reason Why We Came

"So, how can I assist Elder Jiang?" Feng Fan asked, turning to face him after closing the door.

Elder Jiang's expression softened, and he gave a slight bow. "Feng Fan," he began, "I must apologize for my behavior when we first met. To be honest, if it weren't for Xue Qiang's intervention, you wouldn't have been given the opportunity to cultivate at all. The truth is, we took you away from your home, and I nearly committed something truly disgraceful."

Feng Fan was caught off guard. He hadn't expected Elder Jiang, a Dao Seeking realm expert capable of killing him with a mere thought, to ask for his forgiveness.

What surprised him even more was the sincerity in Elder Jiang's tone. Reading the elder's mind, Feng Fan confirmed there was no malice.

Since Elder Jiang wanted to put the past behind them, Feng Fan saw no reason to dwell on it either. They didn't share a life-and-death grudge, after all.

'Actually, if he hadn't brought me here from Earth, I'd never have had the chance to cultivate. For that alone, I owe him thanks,' Feng Fan thought.

With a dismissive wave of his hand, Feng Fan replied, "Let's leave the past where it belongs, Elder Jiang. From now on, we're part of the same sect. But I assume this isn't the only reason you came here today, is it?"

Elder Jiang nodded before asking, "Disciple Feng, how much do you know about the situation that led us to summon people from your planet here?"

Feng Fan shook his head. "Basically nothing. All I know is that we're supposed to participate in some competition for young cultivators across the Qian Empire, and that's it."

Elder Jiang nodded. "Yes, we've kept most details from your group. We don't expect much from most of them. Only those with exceptional potential—Huang Xue, Xue Qiang, Gong Long, Cao Zhu, Yi Qiuyue, and now you—know the specifics. The reason is simple."

Feng Fan nodded thoughtfully. 'Of course. They're focusing their resources on the most promising talents. It's like investing in a single elephant instead of a thousand ants.'

Elder Jiang's tone grew heavier as he continued. "The reason this competition is so crucial is because the allocation of qi stone mines among the sects is determined by the results. Every ten years, the competition is held across the Qian Empire. My White Crow Sect has lost the last four competitions, failing to place even one disciple in the top 100.

"Because of this, we've gone from controlling ten qi stone mines to only two. If we lose again this year, we'll have to hand in the remaining ones. Do you understand what it means for a Qi Cultivation Sect to lose its source of qi stones?"

Feng Fan's expression darkened as he processed the gravity of Elder Jiang's words.

"The sect will slowly decline…" Feng Fan replied, his voice low.

"Exactly," Elder Jiang said, nodding gravely. "Only cultivators aged 25 or younger can participate in the competition. We knew our sect's disciples wouldn't be strong enough, which is why we decided to summon people from your planet. This was our first time attempting such a measure, though other sects have done it before with considerable success."

Elder Jiang sighed, his expression filled with concern. "The results have not disappointed us so far, but even with the added talent, the time is too short. We're not sure if any of you will be able to secure a meaningful victory in this competition."

"Elder Jiang, when is this competition taking place?"

"In about a year from now, the competition will take place. Most participants will likely be at the Foundation Establishment realm," Elder Jiang began. "It's rare for a Golden Core Formation cultivator to appear in these events, but this year, one will be there for sure. He's the Holy Son of the Heavenly Sword Sect, an Earthling with immortal-level talent who arrived in our world three years ago."

Feng Fan's eyes widened in surprise. This was the first time he'd heard of another person from Earth possessing such extraordinary talent.

"In that case, this will be really tough," Feng Fan said, his tone thoughtful. "Huang Xue and Xue Qiang, who are the ones with the most potential in our sect, have had far less time to cultivate than he has."

"If they aim to defeat him, yes, it would be difficult," Elder Jiang admitted. "But we don't need them to win. As I said, our goal is simply to have one disciple place within the top 100. That's enough to maintain our qi mines."

Feng Fan frowned and sighed, shaking his head slightly. "Elder Jiang, I don't mean to be disrespectful, but that kind of mindset is exactly why the White Crow Sect has been losing for so many years."

Elder Jiang frowned deeply. While he was making an effort to be humble with Feng Fan, the temper of a Dao Seeking expert wasn't easily subdued. Being challenged by a junior didn't sit well with him. "What exactly are you trying to say?"

Feng Fan met his gaze without hesitation. "You're entering this competition just to hold on to the last two qi mines. But haven't the other sects been taking them from us for years now? That's not enough for me. Not only will I reclaim what was lost, but I'll take it back with interest! Elder Jiang, I just want you to prepare my reward for when I succeed!"

Elder Jiang's eyes widened in shock. 'This kid—he's brazen!' he thought. 'I like this! Maybe this is the mindset we've been lacking.'

And then, unexpectedly, he burst into hearty laughter. "Hahaha! Bold words, boy! It's been years since someone made me laugh like this. Fine, if you manage to place in the top 5—no, even the top 10—I'll personally reward you. I'll give you a qi mine of your own!"

Feng Fan grinned confidently. "Since you've promised, don't forget when the time comes for me to claim it!"

What Feng Fan left unsaid was that he wasn't just aiming for a top 10 spot. He was determined to claim the championship!

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC42 First Step Into The Array Path

"Take this middle-grade spiritual qi stone and use it wisely," Elder Jiang said, retrieving a larger and more radiant qi stone than the ones Feng Fan had seen before from his space ring and handing it to him.

"The sect will also provide elixirs for your body cultivation," he continued. "Unfortunately, qi stones are scarce. Fortunately, you don't rely on them to progress your cultivation."

Feng Fan hesitated briefly before replying, "Actually, Elder Jiang, I don't need elixirs. While I could use them, my body cultivation technique is… a bit unique. Instead of elixirs, I'd prefer something with strong energy, like qi stones."

Elder Jiang raised an eyebrow, clearly surprised. 'What kind of body cultivation technique is this?' he thought. 'Aren't all body cultivation techniques similar in their resource needs?'

Noticing Elder Jiang's curiosity, Feng Fan chose not to elaborate. Explaining too much would only lead to unnecessary questions.

After a moment of thought, Elder Jiang nodded. "I see. The sect may not be able to fulfill all your needs, but I'll take a gamble on you, boy. I'll personally provide the resources you require. This middle-grade qi stone should be enough to push you into the peak of the Qi Gathering realm."

Feng Fan replied with a grateful smile. "Thank you, Elder Jiang. I won't let you down."

Elder Jiang gave a nod. "Good. This qi stone was meant to be used as a currency, but if it can aid your cultivation, so be it. I'll also think of other ways to help you. There's a pocket dimension opening soon, and all Qi Gathering cultivators will be allowed to enter. Initially, the sect planned to reserve spots for Xue Qiang and Huang Xue, but I'll make sure you get one too."

'Pocket dimensions? Of course!' Feng Fan thought with an inward grin. 'What's a Xianxia without such a classic opportunity?'

"When is the pocket dimension expected to open, Elder Jiang?"

"Anywhere between two and four weeks from now. Give me a few days, and I'll return with details."

"Understood, and thank you again."

Elder Jiang turned to leave but paused at the doorway. "One more thing. Tomorrow, head to the east gate. The sect is holding a selection for new disciples, followed by a battle among them. It would be a good opportunity to know your fellow disciples and build a reputation."

With that, Elder Jiang left, leaving Feng Fan alone in the room once again.

'It seems the sect's situation is more dire than I thought. No matter, my path remains unchanged—continue cultivating and growing stronger.'

Feng Fan's gaze shifted to the book about arrays he had borrowed from the library. 'Why don't I finally take a look at that book? I haven't had the chance to read it yet.'

Reaching into his belongings, he pulled out the book on arrays, one of three manuals he had taken from the library but hadn't studied until now.

The cover read: Array Basics for Dummies – A Simple Walkthrough to Master the Fundamentals of Immortal Arrays.

Without wasting time, he flipped it open and began reading. The book wasn't large.

It was a straightforward introduction to the principles of arrays. It explained how they worked and provided instructions for crafting simple ones, such as a small alarm array and a water-generation array.

Feng Fan quickly became engrossed in the text, his curiosity growing as he absorbed the fundamentals.

After a few hours, Feng Fan finally closed the book. He devoured it whole in a single day!

"Incredible. The art of drawing arrays is basically subduing spiritual qi and manipulating it to change heavenly laws. If it is about manipulating energy, am I not a perfect fit?!"

Feng Fan went closer to his door and started breathing according to his cultivation art. He opened his spiritual qi vision and saw the mass of spiritual qi dispersed across the room.

He channeled his qi as a focal point, drawing the spiritual qi from the room and guiding it in a pattern suited to create a small alarm array near the door.

Carefully following the instructions from the book, he completed the array and took a step back to admire his work.

Feng Fan grinned, satisfied with himself. "Not bad at all. Now, let's test it."

Without disabling the array, he opened the door. Immediately, a high-pitched sound echoed throughout the area.

The noise was so loud that even passing disciples stopped in their tracks, startled.

"Damn it, who set off an alarm array here?" one of them yelled, clearly annoyed.

"Damn it! Who dares to interrupt your father's cultivation?!"

Feng Fan quickly deactivated the array before anyone could come knocking to complain.

"Well, it worked perfectly," he said, pleased with the results.

"Not only did I successfully create my first array, but I also managed to teach a fellow disciple the importance of better focus during cultivation."

He closed the door and leaned against it, lost in thought.

"Now that I think about it, doesn't this place have some sort of protective array to prevent disciples from killing each other?"

Activating his spiritual qi vision, Feng Fan scanned the room once more. Near the ceiling, he noticed an unnatural flow of qi. The energy appeared to connect to the outside, likely enveloping the entire house in its protective embrace.

"Interesting," he murmured, observing the intricate flow. "I can sense the pattern, but understanding how it works just by looking at it is going to be tough. I should grab more books on arrays next time I visit the library."

He recalled something he had read in the array book earlier. "According to the book, while the strength of a cultivator's arrays is tied to their qi, a skilled array master can defeat enemies several small realms above them—if the conditions are right."

Feng Fan's excitement grew. "Mastering arrays might be my calling."

What Feng Fan didn't realize was that most Array Masters relied heavily on intuition and experience developed over years of painstaking practice to create and observe arrays. In contrast, thanks to his spiritual qi vision, a unique ability granted by his cultivation technique, he could directly observe the flow of qi with perfect clarity!

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC43 Birds of a Feather Flock Together

For the rest of the day, Feng Fan focused on his cultivation. This time, he decided to experiment with the middle-grade qi stone instead of relying on the heavenly lightning.

The energy from the qi stone was much gentler, making it easier and faster to absorb during cultivation.

Although he didn't manage to break through to the 2nd stage by the end of the day, he could feel that he was just one step away from achieving it.

"Alright, time to rest. I should follow Elder Jiang's instructions tomorrow," Feng Fan muttered to himself before heading to bed.

The next morning, he woke up feeling refreshed and made his way to the east gate, as instructed by Elder Jiang.

Before leaving the main peak, he noticed Huang Xue running in the same direction.

"Good morning, Feng Fan," she greeted with a warm smile.

Ever since the events that led to Zhang Qi's death, Huang Xue felt much closer to Feng Fan. She saw him as someone she could trust completely.

"Good morning, Huang Xue. Are you heading to the new disciple selection too?" Feng Fan asked casually.

Huang Xue nodded. "Yes. My master told me to attend. It seems everyone from our class is going."

"I see," Feng Fan replied, then noticed another girl running beside Huang Xue. It was someone he'd seen in class for a year but had never spoken to.

"Oh, good morning, Song Shu," he greeted, his tone polite but curious.

Song Shu was a short, bob-haired girl with a slim build. She radiated a quiet, nerd vibe, the kind that often blended into the background.

Feng Fan hadn't paid her much attention before, but the strange thoughts he'd glimpsed from Huang Xue's mind had piqued his interest.

'If Huang Xue's odd ideas about friendship come from this girl, then she must be just as weird,' he thought, amused.

Song Shu turned her head to him, blinking as if trying to recall something. "Oh! Hello… um, what was your name again?"

Feng Fan froze, baffled. "We've been in the same class for a year, and you don't even remember my name?"

Huang Xue, overhearing their exchange, chuckled softly. "Don't mind her; she's always been like this, lost in her own little world.. Song Shu, this is Feng Fan. He's one of us from Earth."

Realization dawned on Song Shu's face. "Ah! That's right. You're the guy with the trash talent. Now I remember. Good morning, Feng Fan."

Feng Fan was stunned yet again. 'How can someone be this blunt? She has no filter whatsoever!'

He glanced at Huang Xue, shaking his head. 'Birds of a feather flock together. No wonder these two are friends.'

"Fanfan."

A melodious voice called out behind him, soft yet carrying an undertone that sent chills down Feng Fan's spine.

'Xue Qiang! Why did she have to show up now, and with Huang Xue here?'

He turned around to see her approaching.

Forcing a smile, he replied, "Good morning, Qinqin. Are you also heading to the new disciples' selection?"

"Yes," she said, her lips curling into a cold smile. "But why are you walking with Huang Xue and not me?"

Before Feng Fan could respond, Huang Xue spoke up, her aloof tone cutting through the tension. "We're friends. Why shouldn't we walk together?"

Feng Fan's heart sank. 'Oh no, Huang Xue, please don't make this worse!'

Xue Qiang's smile widened, but the more she smiled, the more it felt like an ominous storm brewing.

"Oh, he may be your friend," she said sweetly, though her words carried a sharp edge, "but he's my lover. Don't you think that gives me priority?"

"L-Lover?!" Huang Xue stammered, her usual composure faltering as a tinge of jealousy bubbled in her chest.

She turned her gaze to Feng Fan, who was desperately wishing he could vanish into thin air.

"Is that true, Feng Fan?" she asked, her voice colder now. Even she couldn't quite understand the flicker of jealousy within her—after all, they were just friends.

Feng Fan sighed inwardly, bracing himself. 'Why does my life have to be so complicated?'

"Feng FAAAN!" Another voice cut through the chaos. "Do you dare to claim to be Xue Qiang's lover? Since when?!"

Feng Fan turned toward the voice, and for once, he felt a strange sense of relief. It was Gong Long, the biggest idiot he knew.

'Thank the heavens—it's him!' Feng Fan thought, suppressing a laugh at the absurdity of his situation.

Xue Qiang's expression immediately darkened with annoyance. "Gong Long, whether he's my lover or not is none of your business. Now, fuck off!"

Since joining the White Crow Sect, Gong Long's relentless advances have pushed Xue Qiang's patience to the brink. She wasn't in the mood to deal with him today, or any day, really.

"Xue Qiang, I—"

Before Gong Long could finish, Xue Qiang, clearly fed up, grabbed Feng Fan by the hand and started moving faster.

"Wait, Feng Fan!" Huang Xue called out, quickening her pace to catch up.

"Feng Fan, how dare you!" Gong Long shouted, also breaking into a sprint.

Now, the three of them were running at full speed.

Trailing behind, Song Shu's eyes sparkled with excitement as she followed them at her own leisurely pace. "Ah, all this drama in a cultivation world... This is perfect!"

Feng Fan, overhearing her comment, nearly tripped. 'A damn Dorama addict!'

They eventually arrived at the location where the trials would take place. Feng Fan noticed that many disciples were already leaving the sect grounds.

'It looks like we're late. The disciple selection must already be over.'

Feng Fan and his group walked toward a spot where some of his classmates from Earth were already sitting and chatting.

In front of them, four medium-sized arenas were set up.

'Looks like we're moving on to the next step, a battle between the selected disciples?'

On the other side of the arena, Feng Fan saw Elder Jiang speaking to the new disciples.

"Congratulations to all who passed the test. Now, you must face each other in one-on-one fights. Those who perform well will receive more advantages within the sect."

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC44 He's Not Even Handsome

Feng Fan observed the new disciples chatting excitedly among themselves. Now that he was in the Qi Gathering realm, he could sense their cultivation levels.

'I thought all new disciples came here without any prior cultivation experience, but I was wrong. While most of them haven't cultivated before, a few are already at the 1st stage of the Qi Gathering realm, and the strongest one has even reached the 3rd stage.'

The battles began, and as expected, the strongest participant emerged victorious—a man at the 3rd stage of the Qi Gathering realm, blessed with top-grade talent in Qi cultivation.

He radiated confidence, and Feng Fan noticed him frequently glancing in their direction—or more precisely, at the group of Earthlings.

"Congratulations, Bai Tao, on claiming first place," Elder Jiang announced with a smile. "I'm sure your future in the White Crow Sect will shine even brighter."

Bai Tao was the epitome of a classic young master. His long, sleek black hair, meticulously groomed to perfection, cascaded down his back, complementing an aura that radiated privilege and wealth.

He carried himself with an air of superiority, his chin perpetually tilted upward as if the entire world beneath him was too insignificant to merit his attention.

'This Bai Tao looks like he's begging for a beating,' thought Feng Fan.

Bai Tao cupped his hands respectfully and replied, "Thank you, Elder. I actually have a request, if you wouldn't mind."

"What is it?" Elder Jiang asked, a flicker of curiosity crossing his face.

Bai Tao's gaze shifted once again to the Earthlings. "I couldn't help but notice the beautiful lady with red hair," he began, his tone confident yet presumptuous. "She's the most radiant flower I've ever seen. Since she's also at the 3rd stage of the Qi Gathering realm, I believe we're a perfect match. I would like to formally request her hand for a date to celebrate my victory in front of all these witnesses."

'Damn it, this guy is way too full of himself,' Feng Fan thought, irritation bubbling inside him.

Xue Qiang, the red-haired girl in question, wore an annoyed expression but said nothing at first. Bai Tao, however, took it as encouragement.

Striding toward her, he extended his hand with a confident smile.

"What do you say, my fairy? Would you honor me with a date? With the prestige of the Bai family behind me, I promise to treat you like a queen."

Feng Fan had no idea who this Bai family was, but the way Bai Tao spoke made it clear they were influential. Elder Jiang, standing to the side, stifled a laugh, his expression suggesting: 'This kid is asking for trouble.'

Xue Qiang's lips curled into a mischievous smile as she glanced at Feng Fan. He immediately felt a chill.

'What is this girl up to? It can't be anything good!' he thought nervously.

Inside her mind, Xue Qiang plotted her revenge. 'This is for getting too close to Huang Xue, Fanfan.'

Feng Fan, with his ability to hear thoughts, heard every word loud and clear.

'This girl is too much!' he thought.

"I'm sorry," Xue Qiang replied sweetly, her voice tinged with feigned sorrow. "I already have someone I like. Unfortunately, he doesn't return my feelings, but I can't give my heart to anyone else."

Bai Tao's face twisted with disbelief and anger. "Impossible! Who would reject a fairy as stunning as you? Tell me who this boy is, and I'll teach him a lesson!"

Feng Fan sighed deeply, already anticipating the mess about to unfold.

'Qinqin, when we're back, I swear I'll spank you for this nonsense.'

Xue Qiang turned toward Feng Fan, her cheeks flushing with a fake blush. Bai Tao noticed instantly, his anger redirecting toward Feng Fan.

The young master stormed over and stopped directly in front of Feng Fan. "So you're the one she likes? A mere 1st-stage Qi Gathering cultivator? How laughable. I challenge you to a duel! The winner shall claim the lady's affection!"

Gong Long, who had been silently observing, smirked. He was delighted at the chance to see Feng Fan embarrassed in public.

Although Gong Long disliked seeing this man flirt with Xue Qiang, he didn't think Bai Tao stood a chance with her.

Gong Long wasn't self-conscious at all when it came to Xue Qiang. If he was, he would notice he also didn't stand a chance.

However, inside Bai Tao's mind, Feng Fan heard something completely unexpected: 'Ah, this whole show is so annoying. I don't even like women. That handsome blond over there, though… he's just my type.'

Feng Fan froze. His mental image of a typical arrogant young master shattered in an instant. 'Wait. Does this guy swing that way? What is happening here?!'

Suppressing a laugh, Feng Fan slowly rose from his seat and placed his left hand on Bai Tao's shoulder. He gave Bai Tao a strange look before speaking.

"Bro, it's the modern era. You don't need to hide your preferences anymore," he said, his voice laced with feigned sincerity. "Nobody here is going to judge you for, uh, wanting to pursue love in your own way. If you prefer to make love with your butt. Live your truth, man."

The entire arena fell silent for a moment before murmurs of confusion and stifled laughter broke out. Bai Tao's face turned crimson.

'What?! How does he know?!' Bai Tao's thoughts raced in panic.

"W-What nonsense are you spewing? Are you trying to humiliate me?!" he yelled, his voice trembling with both anger and embarrassment. "I challenge you to a duel!"

"And I refuse," Feng Fan replied nonchalantly, crossing his arms. "Go find yourself a pretty boy, alright? I'm not into men, so I can't help you with that."

'Damn it! This guy…!' Bai Tao fumed internally. 'He's not even handsome, yet he acts like I'd want him!'

Hearing this, Feng Fan's expression darkened as he thought,' What do you mean I'm not handsome?!'

Seeing the situation escalating, Elder Jiang stepped forward to diffuse the tension.

"Enough! There's no need to strain the relationship between fellow disciples," he said firmly, his gaze sweeping over both parties. "Today's event is concluded. New disciples, the menial disciples will guide you to your quarters. As for the disciples from Earth, you are dismissed and may return to your duties."

Bai Tao cast one final, sharp glance at Feng Fan before turning to Elder Jiang. With a respectful bow, he cupped his hands and replied, "This disciple understands."

MY WHOLE CLASS ISEKAI'D TO A XIANXIA? GOOD THING I CAN DO MIND-READINGC45 When Have I Ever Gone Looking For Trouble?

After the new disciples departed, Feng Fan shot Xue Qiang an annoyed glance.

Noticing his expression, she chuckled softly and moved closer. "What's wrong, Fanfan? You don't look so good," she teased with a mischievous smile.

'This girl really deserves a beating!' Feng Fan thought, clenching his jaw.

Before he could retort, someone suddenly latched onto his arm.

"Ah, Feng Fan, so you're not her lover after all," said Huang Xue, leaning against him and pressing her chest against his arm with shameless boldness.

Feng Fan's face flushed with surprise, caught completely off guard by her boldness.

Xue Qiang's expression darkened instantly. Her eyes flared with a mix of jealousy and indignation. "Vixen! Let go of Fanfan! Who said he doesn't have a lover? I'm his lover!"

Huang Xue tilted her head slightly, her brows knitting together in apparent confusion. "Didn't you just say he didn't return your feelings?"

Feng Fan could feel the tension crackling between the two women like an impending storm. 'Great, now I'm in the middle of this mess,' he thought, sighing inwardly.

The air around Xue Qiang grew noticeably hotter as the temperature spiked within a few meters of her. Sensing the shift, Huang Xue quickly activated her cultivation technique, her qi surging in response.

In an instant, the tension escalated, and both girls looked ready to jump at each other throats.

Caught between them, Feng Fan swallowed hard, completely at a loss.

"Enough! What do you think you're doing?" Elder Jiang's stern voice cut through the heated atmosphere as he stepped forward. "You two should be fighting together, not against each other!"

The pressure immediately began to dissipate under the elder's presence.

'Elder Jiang really is a master at diffusing situations,' thought Feng Fan, relieved. 'He should quit the sect and become a diplomat instead.'

"You girls can go back, I have something important to discuss with Feng Fan."

'I don't really have anything to say to him, but it's probably best to give the guy some space,' thought Elder Jiang, shaking his head slightly. 'Still, how does such an average face manage to charm these two girls, to the point of fighting against each other? Life really doesn't make sense.'

Feng Fan, who had been watching the elder with a gaze full of appreciation, suddenly felt a twitch of annoyance.

'Average face? What's with everyone calling me ugly today?!' he fumed internally.

Meanwhile, Huang Xue and Xue Qiang exchanged one last deadly glare before turning sharply on their heels, each walking off in opposite directions.

"Elder Jiang, do you need something from me?" Feng Fan asked, feigning innocence even though he already knew the answer.

Elder Jiang shot him an irritated glance. "Yes, stop stirring up trouble! Now go and focus on your cultivation!"

Feng Fan cupped his hands and replied, "Yes, sir!"

Without wasting a moment, he dashed back to his room.

Later that same day, Feng Fan successfully broke through to the 2nd stage of both the Qi Gathering and Body Forging realms.

Over the next few days, he dedicated himself to cultivating and practicing arrays simultaneously.

A week passed peacefully. Huang Xue and Xue Qiang didn't bother him, as they were also deeply focused on their own cultivation, striving to improve their realms in preparation for the upcoming exploration of the pocket dimension.

'Interesting. If I combine a water-generation array, a heating array, and a cooling array, I can create a fog array,' Feng Fan thought, his mind buzzing with excitement.

It had only been a week since he started exploring the Array Path, yet he was already experimenting with his first combination array.

Just as he was about to finalize his work, a voice echoed in his mind.

"Feng Fan. Come to the main chamber."

Startled, Feng Fan instinctively looked around his room, half-expecting to see Elder Jiang standing there. But the elder was nowhere to be found.

"Wow," Feng Fan muttered, realizing what had happened. "Is this a communication technique using spiritual qi? Interesting."

Feng Fan halted his training and quickly made his way to the main chamber as instructed by Elder Jiang.

Upon entering, he saw Elder Jiang and the Sect Master seated at the head of the room, with Huang Xue and Xue Qiang already in place before them.

Feng Fan stepped forward and bowed slightly. "Did you call for me, Elder Jiang?"

Elder Jiang nodded, his expression calm. "The pocket dimension I mentioned to you three is on the verge of opening. It's expected to activate sooner than we initially thought—within three to seven days at most. To ensure you don't miss the opening, you'll be departing today. Elder Peng has a delivery to make in the city where the pocket dimension will open, so he'll accompany you."

'A hundred middle-grade Qi stones for each entry,' Elder Jiang thought to himself. 'I hope these brats make the most of it. Feng Fan's entry fee was even paid by me, not the sect.'

Feng Fan, hearing this through his unique ability, was dumbfounded. 'A hundred middle-grade Qi stones?! Why didn't he just give me the stones instead? This pocket dimension better be worth it…'

Despite his inner complaints, Feng Fan felt a warmth growing in his chest. 'This Elder Jiang is better than I thought. He's really looking out for me. '

The three disciples nodded in understanding.

Huang Xue then raised a question. "Elder Jiang, what is the name of the city we're heading to?"

"Cloudveil City. The Bai Tao who joined the sect recently is the city lord's son. Thanks to him, we secured an extra spot for Feng Fan, though it came at a cost, of course."

Feng Fan raised an eyebrow in surprise. 'As I suspected, that Bai Family must be a big deal. That guy really is a young master.'

"You guys get ready. Elder Peng will be waiting for you at the east gate. You have two hours before departure," said the Sect Master, who had remained silent until then.

"Feng Fan…" Elder Jiang said, his tone serious. "You won't be inside the sect, so don't go causing trouble outside."

Feng Fan flashed a wry smile. "When have I ever gone looking for trouble, Elder Jiang?"
