"Ugh... my head hurts" I groaned, rubbing my forehead
I opened my eyes and raised myself up. I saw my friends groaning on the floor too, rolling. I looked around us, we are in a white void.
No walls, no sky, just nothing. I can't even feel the ground I am touching. We are not feeling, ot felt stramge. The colour of our clothes only stand out.
Marvin staggered on his feet, his eyes roamed around.
"What the hell happened? Where are we?" Marvin muttered in amazement
We all stand up, wondering around the white endless void.
"Weren't we just playing an RPG game?" Juran said as he scratched his head like the answer is hiding in his hair
"Yeah, I remember us nearly beating that boss. It has only 3 HP left. But next was... Was a sudden total darkness" I replied
We heard a sound behind us, it sounded like sprinkling and sparkling crystals
We all turned around to look, we saw a woman standing about the same size of us. She wore a pure clean bright white long dress reaching her heel, she has green long smooth silky hair, and brown sparkling eyes like a polished amber.

She looked like.... A Goddess.
"Who are you? And where the hell are we?" Kiri demanded for answer
"Allow me to introduce myself, I am Havanna Sayari, the Goddess of reincarnation. It is pleasure to meet you. And I am here to reincarnate all of you" she replied, her voice smooth, beautiful and soothing
"Eh!? Reincarnation? Isn't that what happens to the dead!?" Jay freaked out
"Nu uh, I don't believe in reincarnation bro" Kiri said, folding his arms and shaking his head in denial
"That is true" The woman replied to Jay
"So you're telling me we are dead!?" Marvin shouted
"Yep"
"Hold on, how did we die?" Juran asked
We all stared at her, waiting for answer.
"Well, according to the memory I just received. You were all playing a thing so called VR or Virtual Reality in a same house"
She closed her eyes and put both of her pointing finger on the sides of her head.
"Since the VR is an electrical device and used in the head, it doubled the size of shocking in your head which caused a high heat and cooked your brain painlessly"
We were all surprised. We all started shouting in panick, all of us are in a mess. We walked around, shouting like total maniacs.
Our voice echoed through the void.
"Aaaaaahh!!!!!"
"We are doomed!!!!!"
"I am still a virgin to die!!!!!"
"I don't want to stay here!!!!!"
We all shrieked, like it is the end of the world.
"Stop!"
A shout, breaking out our panick. We all went silent. It was Kiri, spreading his arms out. Palms wide open, a sign to stop us.
"How can we know if you are telling the truth and this is not just a dream!?" Kiri shouted to the woman
We all looked at Havanna. Havanna put a finger on her mouth and chuckled. She raised her hand up, palm facing up.
A blue perfect circle abover her hand, lines of blue water surrounded it and filled it up.
We watched silently, it is watery and bubbly. After it got filled up, it started to show an image, we looked closely.
We saw something familiar, the image showed us a burning familiar house. Firefighters are there to extinguish it out in the heavy rain.
It was the house of Marvin. We hangout there to play VR after school but we didn't know there will be typhoon.
Kiri's eyes widened, looks like he believe now.
"We are really dead!" He screamed
We all went back to panicking, running around the white void while we screamed.
Even the one who don't believe and take it seriously from the start is now one of us.
"Settle down settle down. No need to panick" Havanna tried to calm us
We all stopped and started breathing heavily, regaining our energy.
"So... Huff huff... So you're going to reincarnate us?" Jay asked while catching his breath
"Mhmm" Havanna nodded "I am going to reincarnate the 5 of you and start a new life"
"You mean like we are going to be babies again? Well I hope, you don't separate the 5 of us" Juran said, his voice calm like he accepted all of it
"Actually, not that close"
We all raised our heads up and stared at Havanna in shock
"Then what do you mean by 'reincarnating us and start a new life?'" I asked
"I am going to reincarnate you all in a new world, a new fantasy and different system than your previous world"
I looked at the others, they shook and shrug their shoulders. They also don't understand what she is saying.
"We are not following up to what you are saying. Explain please?" I said
"I am going to send you to a new world, a world of swords and magic. A world of endless adventure. A world with its own rules... far different from your own. But I am going to keep you all in the same age and with memories"
"Woah, powers!? We can get powers powers right!?" Marvin's eyes turned into stars
Havanna giggled.
"Of course my dear. Now shall we start?"
Suddenly, the place turned dark void. We see nothing, only the light of aura emitting from Havanna helped us see in the dark.
She swiped her hands on the empty air. Suddenly, circle shapes started to form like dust particles.
There are three circles floating in the air. They are like planet Earth's, but each of them has different land sizes and locations, these earths also has different sizes, the left is medium size, the middle is small, and the third is large. They also has different color representation.
"So, we are going to pick an 'alternative earth'?" Marvin asked while doing the 2 finger up and down motion
"Yes indeed. I can let the five of pick what you call 'earth' you want to go"
"That means we can go back to our original earth?"
"You are right, but 1 in an infinite number you will pick your earth again"
"That's good to hear... Wait what do you mean 1 in an infinite number!?" Jay asked in a sudden realization
Havanna turned around again to the 3 earths. She touch and hold the third earth. It got bigger like an icon in a phone getting tap and hold. She swiped from right to left hardly.

There are suddenly other earths showing from right to left. They now show different colors, sizes, and different land sizes and location. It was like scrolling.
Havanna continued swiping and swiping and swiping. It is a never ending swipe.
Our jaw drop in shock. This lady is not lying.
She continued swiping and swiping then.... Stop. She got tired and limp, breathing hardly for air.
"Okay boys, so what earth you want to go?" She regain her posture r in a second and raised her hands up below the Earth's, presenting them
The 5 of us exchange glances. Marvin raised his hand.
"Yes?"
"What if you lied that we won't get superpowers you promise?"
Havanna snapped her two fingers, the three earths showing disappeared pooping like bubbles. Three new earths appeared again.
"There you go, I removed the earth with basic laws and no superpowers. Now pick, you can only pick one. And remember, different earth, different superpowers. They could be weak basic superpowers, or maybe... Very powerful superpowers so pick carefully"
"I'll pick" Juran and started walking towards the Earth's
"No I'll pick, you might have bad luck" Kiri stopped him
"I don't believe in lucks bro, I only believe in randomized system"
"No, I, will do it"
We all started arguing who will do it.
"Calm down boys, how about you do a game. Winner will be the one will pick"
"Okay, more better"
"So what boys are we going to play?"
"Oh, I know I know, the... Uh, you know, the one whose different will be out" Juran suggested
We all agreed, we gathered around making a circle and put our hand on the middle.
"Okay, 1, 2, 3!"
We all raised our hands up and dropped our hands back down.
Eh!? I am the only one who has his hand showing his palm. The other 4 remained their hands.
"You're out Raz"
I backed off, they all tighten the circle. Dammit. I waited for them to finish, their voice are the only one we hear, they echo through the dark void.
It felt like lonely in this void.
"Ha! I won! I can't believe I am the one who will pick!" Juran celebrated
The others were frustrated.
"Hey, pick the good one okay"
Juran went to the floating earths. He started scrolling, earth to earth to earth. He was like shopping.
"Neither of these ones, no, bland, woah, this one looked like our earth"
We patiently waited but somehow, he is not statisfied.
"How about this, you make a strong scroll and whatever earths it landed, thats where you will pick. We know you are the one who will pick but you are struggling to pick" Marvin suggested
"Yeah, good idea" she looked at the goddess "Can you make it 5?" He asked
"Sure"
Havanna flicked her fingers, 2 new planets appeared.
"Let's do this boys"
He made a strong swipe. The Earth's scrolled fastly, we waited, our eyes just followed the spin in synced. It started spinning slowly, then stop. It landed on are all medium sized earths.
The first and second earths are violet, the third is orange, and the fourth is green.
"Go ahead, pick now"
Juran eyed on the Earth's. If I will be the one to pick, I will pick the orange planet.
"I have a good feelings with this one" he pointed at the orange planet with his thumb
Ooookay, that was unexpected.
"Are you sure" Havanna asked
"Yes, I am sure"
"Are you really sure"
"Y-yes, I-I am sure" Juran started stuttering
"Are you really really REALLY sure?" Havanna teased Juran
"Stop! Yes I am really sure!"
"Okay then, orange earth"
The Earths popped, the orange earth remained.
"Let's see about this one"
A large sized book appeared on her hand out of nowhere. She started flipping the pages.
"And... There it is"
"Wait a minute, is that a book of Earths?' Kiri asked
Havanna nodded while reading.
"Wait, I thought you said are infinite, why is it all that only?"
"Are you sure"
Large books started spawning behind Havanna, it continued spawning, they started stacking and stacking.
"Okay stop, sorry for underestimating you"
All of the books dissapearef in a poof. We let her continued to read.
"Mhmm, mhmm" she nodded as she reads
Then, her eyes locked into something.
"Such different power system they have here"
"What is it?" Marvin got nosy
"They called this supernatural thing a Follower or Slave"
We all titled our head, confused. We are so confused that a question mark popped out above our head.
"What do you mean by that?" I asked
"You can summon a person, which is what they call Follower or Slave"
"Summon a person!?" We all shouted in sync
We all looked at Juran.
"Hey don't look at me! I don't know!"
"Wait, but there's more"
We turned our heads back to Havanna.
"These Followers or Slaves are no ordinary person's. They have supernatural powers. You own them, they are part of you"
"So in short, we do not own the powers but then? Hell no" Marvin complained
"But atleast they are part of you so that means the powers are also yours. You control the powers they have"
"Sound's good. I am in" Marvin changed his mind
"This is the info of their power system"

They can be obtained in birth. The Followers and Slave grow with their owner, baby to adult. During the process the baby is being born, the baby has to choose 1 in an infinite Follower and Slave before they go out of their mother's womb, just like you 5 when you're were picking an earth to go .
But the babies can't think and choose so they can't choose. When they were nearly born, the power system randomizes and pick for them. It was a waste of opportunity.
They're purpose is to protect their owners. They will serve for them till death. The slaves can die, but can again revive when the owner get a constant rest like sleeping, not doing anything, or just eating food.
But getting these Followers and Slaves are very rare like low chance. So it is very common for you to not have one.
The person to have one are called The Gifted
The story of this supernatural powers, where they came from. Their god made a system to serve his prophets, he used the soul of the dead for the prophets.
But it took a dark turn when the evil God discovered about it. He mixed the system with his evil magic, giving his Follower a super power. He wants God to know that even one of his close prophets will abuse this and turn against him.
And that wasn't a lie, one of the God's prophet, Ka-el Fura, one of his most closest follower turned against him. He angered, why he always got ordered around like a servant.
He found out that his Follower has this supernatural powers, he used it against his God. The God tried to remove the system, but it was not too easy, the evil God already infected it with his evil magic, and added a new system, the Slaves.

"We can also pick our powers right?" Jay asked
Havanna thinked, and frown as if she noticed something from us.
"Well, to make it not looked like cheating. How about this"
"Well since it is unfair that you can pick your own Follower or Slave, how about we make this limited"
It turned pitch dark all of a sudden, then light comes back. There are three beacons infront of us. Above them are small circles, each of them have different colors. First is white, second is violet and third is green.
Their colors reminds me of the rarity items in games.
"First to last, the time you play that game of yours"
"Oh, you mean when we played that game when we were picking who will pick our earth? Okay"
Juran went to the beacons.
"Let's randomize them, there are only 3 to choose but you can only pick 1"
"Hey, that's unfair. How can we pick 1 in a 3 while the babies are 1 in an infinite" Juran complained
"And it is more unfair and stupid to compete yourself to a new born baby with no knowledge and no level of thinking. Babies can't even choose"
"Fine"
The circles started randomizing, there are like different circle colors popping up in a blink of an eye and change to a another color.
"By the way, this kinda reminds of RNG's in games"
And then it stopped.
The left circle is colored blue, the middle and right is green. Juran rubbed his chin.
"Wait, does the color represents their strength and rarity?" Juran asked
"Maybe? I wonder where you learn that kind of thing"
Juran looked at us.
"What item rarity is blue again?" He asked
"It is the third rarity, Rare rarity" I replied
"But I want a legendary or mythic rarity, epic rarity would do" he muttered to himself
She looked at Havanna, he knekt down and showed her his puppy eyes.
"Can I please gamble again?" He pitied
"Wh-what, no. That is what you got"
"Please please please give me another chance, let me gamble again"
"I said no"
"I will gamble my left ball just to randomize it again"
"Woooooaaaah" the 4 of us said in unison
"You gamble your nut just for a Follower or Slave" Jay chuckled
Juran gave her a cuter puppy eyes.
"No matter what you do, I will still not give you a chance"
"Okay" he frowned
He stood back up again and looked at the blue circle.
"Touch the circle, then he of she will be your Slave or Follower"
Juran lifted his hand. He took a deep breath.
"Okay, let's do this"
He touched the blue circle. The blue circle started to glowed brighter. It suddenly liquified. It climbed on Juran's hand and started climbing on his arm, going towards his body.
"What is happening!"
The liquid went inside his neck... And dissapeared. Juran breathed heavily.
"What happened!?"
"That's it, your Follower or Slave is with you now"
He examined his arm, then looked around him.
"Where... Where is he or she?"
"You are in my world, I forbid everyone to use their powers here"
She looked at us.
"Next"
Juran went back to us, Jay went forward.
"Let's do this quick"
The circles started randomizing... Then stop. The first one is white, the most painful color in RNG, second is green and the third is violet, nice.
"Let's go, Epic" he celebrated and touch the violet circle right away
"Next"
Marvin went next. By the time the randomize finish, he grabbed on the violet circle.
"An epic again"
"Next"
"NO WAY! I got a orange, legendary!" Kiri shouted
Lucky, the others got jealous.
"Next"
And then me. I stepped forward and walked slowly to the beacons. I breathed heavily. I will wish for a higher rarity.
"Sorry but I will be changing in this one, I will lower the chance to get higher rarity ones"
"What!? Why!? So that means you know the rarities"
"Most of you got a circle higher than blue. I am sorry but I have to do it"
The circles started randomizing, the colors are mostly showing white and green, and a bit blue.
"Hey hey hey! What is this!?"
"Just like I said, I lowered the chances of getting higher rarities"
I just watched in panick as I watch the circle randomized, mostly green and white shown, unlike the others. I can't just get white or green, they are the most lowest rarity.
The others watched, flatfaced. Please! At least I could get blue, blue is enough for me.
The randomize started going slowly, I closed my eyes. I can't bare to see it. I heard the randomizer stopped.
I slowly opened my eyes, I could hear my friends murmuring.
Huh!? No... Fucking way!
The left color is white, the middle color is also white. But the right is a red color, representing mythic, more higher than legendary, epic, and rare.
"Woohoo, yes!" I jumped around, swaying my fist
"Goddess, are you sure you really lower the chances of the rarity!?" Kirin asked
"Yes I have, it is a 0.2 percent chance to get this one"
She examined it carefully, fingers on her chin.
"But why does this one looked... Different?"
I stopped, I went back again to the beacon.
"What do you mean it... Looked... Different..."
I was in surprise, the circle has a different look. The circle is colored gray but glowing red around it.
"No, no, no, that looked like a curse" I said
"Well those are yours"
"You're maybe not telling something to us about the power system of the world"
"I have said all of what is there. I also don't know what is that"
"Yeah agree with Raz, that looked like a curse" Jay agreed
"Well, you don't have any choice. Between the 2 weak rarity, or this I don't know what is but looked like a powerful one"
I stared at the red glowing gray circle. I sighed.
"I loved gambling"
Without hesitation, I touch the circle. Just like for the others, it liquified and went inside my body.
I looked around my body, I don't see any sign of curse.
"Looks like all of you are ready. Time to go to your whole new world"
