Chapter 127 - Chapter 127 - Returning Home

Ren Zu stood still, calmly looking at the barrier that Jasmine had created.

The curtain of white light, previously opaque and impenetrable, began to flicker. Small cracks of energy appeared on its surface, like glass about to shatter. The barrier emitted one final glow before completely dissipating into luminous particles that dissolved into the air like snow melting under the sun.

And then… Jasmine appeared at the center of the barrier. Her new body was exactly like the previous one, with the only difference being that it was now alive in flesh and blood, making her somewhat more delicate and beautiful. Her skin was an immaculate white, like polished jade under the morning light. Her blood-red hair cascaded down to her waist, shining with a vitality that seemed to contain the blood of "stars," as if stars could bleed. Her small and delicate face retained that ethereal beauty, with fine features, a delicate nose, and pink lips that now carried a faint trace of a smile—an expression that was rare and genuine, softening her usual demeanor. Her cheeks flushed slightly when she saw him there, patiently waiting for her. It looked like a husband waiting for his wife to finish getting ready… What was she even thinking! Her black eyes darted away for a moment...

Ren Zu observed her in silence for a second, the calm smile still on his lips.

"Was it a success?" he asked casually.

Jasmine raised her chin, trying to resume her usual haughty princess posture, but the faint smile still dancing on her lips betrayed her satisfaction.

"Yes," she replied, her voice firm but with an evident tone of pride. "It was a complete success."

After that, her delicate eyebrows arched, and her expression became as hard as a wooden board, as if she were trying to hide the overflowing emotion.

"Because of your abnormal life force, the perfection of my new body truly surpasses my expectations. Not only have I recovered my strength at my peak, but I have even advanced a little further! You really are an unparalleled aberration!"

She crossed her arms over her chest, trying to maintain an indifferent appearance, but the slight blush that intensified on her cheeks betrayed her without difficulty. For her, becoming stronger was not just a goal—it was a necessity. Her revenge depended on it. And the advancement she had just achieved was no small matter: she had gone straight from the early stage of the Eighth Level of the Divine Master Realm to the peak of that same level. Her power had, without exaggeration, practically doubled. Deep down, she knew very well how absurd that evolution was—merely from reconstructing her body with someone's blood essence, something she had never heard of before. Well, regardless, this was the kind of opportunity that did not come twice in a lifetime. Meeting Ren Zu… had undoubtedly been the greatest stroke of luck she had ever had in her life. Especially when considering her previous situation, completely adrift, without direction, depending on a disciple who had ended up crippled and on the verge of death. If it weren't for that encounter, her path would probably have ended there...

Ren Zu tilted his head slightly, his smile widening a little more.

"I'm glad to hear that..." he said sincerely, without any trace of provocation. "But calling me an unparalleled aberration was quite rude..."

Jasmine snorted softly, turning her face to the side as if she wanted to maintain her usual posture, but the faint gleam of satisfaction in her eyes revealed more than she would have liked.

"Hmph… this princess was praising you. In the entire Primordial Chaos, you are, without a doubt, the most special existence I have ever encountered..." She paused briefly, narrowing her eyes slightly. "Are you sure you're not the reincarnation of a Creation God?..."

Ren Zu shook his head slowly, the serene smile remaining on his perfect lips. His black eyes, deep as the universe itself, fixed on her with an almost absolute tranquility.

"Obviously not..." he replied casually, then asked, "Now that your body has been successfully reconstructed, are you going back to see how your little sister is doing, or are you still going to stay here for a while?"

Hearing his question, Jasmine gave him a complex look. Her black eyes narrowed slightly, as if she were trying to read something beyond the simple words he had said. For a moment, she remained in absolute silence, the morning wind gently stirring her hair, which was as red as blood. Then, after taking a deep breath, she replied, her voice lower than usual, almost reluctant:

"This princess… plans to spend some time accompanying you." The words came out with a slight hesitation, but they were filled with clear determination. She averted her gaze for a moment, as if admitting it went against her nature, before continuing, "I wish to learn the [Myriad Dharmic Wheel] that you created and promised to teach me once I reconstructed my body. But before that, I promised compensation for the three drops of your blood essence..."

Before Ren Zu could respond, Jasmine raised her delicate hand. A drop of brilliant red blood essence appeared at the tip of her finger. With a gentle gesture, she sent it directly toward his forehead, where the drop dissolved instantly, being assimilated by his body. Then, she approached him in an instant and touched his forehead with two fingers. With a subtle glow of energy, she engraved all of her profound skills—the complete series of the [Stellar God Arts]—directly into Ren Zu's mind.

"This princess's bloodline is not inferior to the other Divine Bloodlines you have in your body. After absorbing this drop of blood, your lifespan will increase dramatically, and you may be able to use my legacy abilities. That's why I engraved all of them directly into your mind..."

Ren Zu blinked, clearly surprised by the sudden generosity. He touched his own forehead, feeling the flow of knowledge that was now perfectly integrating into his mind. In a matter of seconds, he assimilated all the arts she had transmitted to him, refining them with his unparalleled comprehension. At the same time, the drop of her blood essence was completely absorbed by his "unique body," being elevated to the same level as his other divine legacies by his golden marrow...

He opened a light and sincere smile.

"Although I said I didn't need any compensation, I'm happy with your generosity. Thank you very much, Jasmine."

Jasmine crossed her arms, but her eyes betrayed a faint gleam of satisfaction.

"Well, don't disappoint this princess and learn the rest of her abilities..."

"...." Ren Zu smiled faintly. He couldn't exactly say that he had already learned everything she had taught him just a second ago instantly, right? Well, looking at the delighted figure in front of him, he extended his hand and gently touched her forehead, engraving all the information of the [Myriad Dharmic Wheel] directly into her mind—not just the basic principles, but the complete understanding...

Jasmine remained completely still for a moment.

Her eyes widened.

The complexity of the technique hit her like an avalanche. She sucked in the cold air, her body trembling slightly as she processed what she had just received.

"…This..." she murmured, her voice almost a whisper. "It's hard to believe you created something like this…"

She blinked several times, still assimilating the knowledge. Seeing his wives practicing the technique had already been impressive in itself, but having it engraved directly into her mind, with all the depth, logic, and subtlety that Ren Zu had developed, was something completely different.

"This… Myriad Dharmic Wheel… is terrifying..." she admitted, her voice filled with shock but also with admiration that was difficult to hide. "It's not just a technique… it's as if you created an entire system of profound arts from a single method. Now it makes sense… the reason why your wives are able to develop such absurd arts of their own. This technique practically guides the cultivator down that path... It not only accelerates the absorption of the energy of heaven and earth several times over… but also deepens the comprehension of the Laws to the point where it naturally directs each person toward what is most suitable for them!"

"Incredible…"

Jasmine raised her gaze to him, her black eyes shining with an emotion she rarely showed openly.

"You… really are an unparalleled existence in the entire Primordial Chaos."

Ren Zu simply smiled, without responding in words.

He tilted his head slightly, his calm and indifferent gaze fixed on her for a moment, before speaking in a low and humble voice:

"It's not anything that grand. If it can be useful to you… then I'm satisfied."

Jasmine shook her head slowly, her blood-red hair waving gently with the movement. Her expression became more serious, almost grave.

"Don't underestimate what you created..." she said, her voice low but firm. "This [Myriad Dharmic Wheel] is even better than most of the Divine Legacies I know. If information about this technique were to leak to the outside world… it would cause an unprecedented bloodbath. Cultivators would kill each other for a chance to obtain it. Therefore… don't teach this to anyone else..."

Ren Zu nodded without hesitation.

"Understood. I only teach those who are extremely close to me… like my wives… and you." The last words came out naturally, without exaggerated emphasis, but carrying a clear and intentional meaning—that he considered her almost his woman as well. Well, at least that was what the Celestial Slaughter Star Goddess understood...

Jasmine froze. Her cheeks flushed deeply, a vivid red that spread all the way to her delicate ears. Her black eyes widened for a moment, and she opened her mouth as if to say something, but no sound came out immediately.

"Y-you…!" She snorted, abruptly turning her face to the side, her arms crossed tightly over her chest. "What are you insinuating with that?! Who said I am… that I am… hmph! Your words full of hidden intentions won't affect me! This princess is not like those stupid women who fall for cheap tricks!"

Despite the cold and snorting tone, her voice came out a little louder than normal, betraying just how much those words had destabilized her. The blush on her face did not fade, and she avoided looking directly at him, as if afraid he would see something she still did not want to admit...

Ren Zu simply smiled softly, neither pressing nor retreating. He let the silence settle for a few seconds, allowing the morning wind and the whisper of the bamboos to fill the space between them. After a moment, he broke the silence and said, "Anyway… I'm glad you managed to reconstruct your body. Since you've decided to accompany me for a while, I'll return to the Illusory Demon Realm. Is there anything else you want to do here?"

Jasmine snorted again, but this time the sound came out softer, almost like a sigh.

"… No." She turned her face back to him, her black eyes shining with a mixture of determination and something softer—something she was still trying to hide behind her usual arrogance.

Ren Zu simply nodded, the tranquil smile remaining on his lips.

"Since no one knows who you are, I'll come up with something along the way. If you have any suggestions, I'll accept them too....."

Jasmine merely shot him a glance.

"As if this princess cared about what others think," she said, her voice full of disdain but with a slightly softer tone than usual. "Make up whatever you want. As long as it's not something ridiculous like 'my new disciple' or anything that makes it look like I'm your subordinate. This princess does not accept being seen as just any follower."

She paused briefly, her black eyes turning back to him with a challenging gleam.

"And don't think I'm going to stick to you all the time just because I decided to accompany you. I have my own matters to attend to."

Ren Zu simply smiled lightly, without contesting.

"Understood..." he said simply, his voice calm and natural. "Then let's go."

Without another word, the two completely disappeared from the location.
