I chuckled softly at the barrage of questions and concerns before saying, "You fired off multiple questions at once, Mother. Which one would you like me to answer first?"
Before she could respond, I heard my father's footsteps coming down the stairs. He had sensed my arrival as well.
He greeted me warmly before commenting on my stabilized Elite rank status. I nodded and explained that I'd had a fortuitus encounter in the forest while hunting that had pushed my abilities to solidify at this level.
My father looked pleased but cautioned me to be more careful in the future. I assured him he didn't need to worry.
