"How long was I unconscious for Saksham?"Advitya asked getting up and inspecting the bandages wrapped on his head in the mirror.
"It has only been a few hours Advitya, the doctor said you were not unconscious because of the injury itself but mental shock."Saksham replied to which Advitya just nodded. But Advitya could tell Saksham was being overly chatty today.
"Advitya did you?..."Saksham wanted to say something more but stopped midway. Advitya could tell what Saksham was trying to ask, he was trying to ask about him penetrating the sword in the flesh of the dead bodies.
Advitya just shook his head not wanting to press on this matter further.
Then a nurse came into the room and asked Advitya
"Are you feeling dizzy or uncomfortable somewhere?"
"I am feeling totally alright ma'am,"Advitya replied.
"That's good, you both have to go to the staff building which is adjacent to the query hall. You will be asked a few questions and then you all will leave for the capital."
Both Advitya and Saksham nodded.
Advitya already had this hunch that without an interrogation they will not be allowed to leave. After a while they both got ready and left the room to go to the staff building.
Along the way Saksham said "You know Advitya who was behind the attack, it was mayan people. My grandma used to say they all are evil there god reward them for killing non believers."
"Do you really think that Saksham?"
"I used to think all my grandma said was gibberish but seeing the terrorist attack I am starting to think there is some truth in her words."
"I don't think that way Saksham just because of an attack from those fanatics, they should be not called even believers, it should be labeled as Maya religion is inherently evil but I am also not saying what your grandma said was wrong there could be some problematic things within the Maya religion, that needs to be changed. But it all seems so strange, Saksham."
"What do you find strange Advitya?"
After a bit of contemplation Advitya replied "We are as gods, we can cultivate to become immortal to break the boundaries of the human we can be gods so why do we follow religions when one has been given the right to be the god oneself."
Saksham just looked at Advitya's face for a few seconds and then just nodded the rest of the journey was in silence. Advitya find the silence not to his liking but seeing Saksham with such a thoughtful expression on his face he kept his mouth shut.
They arrived at the staff building and they both were redirected to the basement underneath the staff building. First to be called was Saksham, Advitya waited for his turn.
After about half an hour Advitya was called inside he entered and saw a man no older than 30 smoking with a tired look on his face. The man was reading some papers when Advitya entered he looked up and pointed at the bench.
Advitya interpreting his signal sat at the bench, the whole room was covered in mirrors he could see his reflection from all four sides of the room.
Without introduction the man simply said "Recount everything you remember."
Advitya recounted everything not leaving any details he started from Sneha to Elder Dharampal to what he did after. He got the feeling they knew everything already so hiding anything from them will only raise unnecessary suspicions.
After Advitya finished recounting everything the man asked
"Why did you stab those dead corpses?"
"I felt rage. I wanted to redirect it somewhere and those dead bodies were the only thing that was weaker than me." Advitya replied.
"You must not grow the seed of a hate child, it is vicious and will eat you from inside. Remember the one to save you by sacrificing himself was also the believer of Maya."The man said.
Advitya nodded and then made his way to the exit door, suddenly he looked towards the man and asked a question that was pressing on him for a very long time
"Why were there no reinforcements?"
