Chapter 270: Lilith is Overstimulated

Waking up the next day, a well-rested Gudako used the purchase mechanism provided by BB to obtain a key and discover the information related to the diary.

The people outside had fallen into madness, while the woman in the diary seemed to have been possessed by something even more terrifying. Her sense of self was blurring, her original convictions were vanishing, and everything changed after that.

She was no longer herself...

Afterward... someone utilized the Astronomical Observatory to launch a certain experiment... 128 Masters continually summoned new Servants to engage in slaughter, using the fallen Heroic Spirits as food for a terrifying existence, turning the entire oil base into the body of a monster...

From that, a key hint was obtained: the Central Control Room.

Because the path through the "Chest" had been destroyed by Lip, the group prepared to take an alternate route, circling back to enter the Central Control Room of the oil base.

"I don't want to go to a dangerous place like that anymore. I don't want to experience scary things again, so I'll stay here on standby," the female staff member with glasses said.

"Understood. Then I shall stay as well. Acting alongside an Alter Ego is not particularly pleasant for me, and since this is our base, we need to prevent it from being attacked. I will stay here as a guard," Tristan added.

"I understand. I'm counting on you then," Gudako agreed readily.

"If we reach the Central Control Room, we might find a way to escape," Lilith said softly, looking at Gudako. "There, we should be able to establish communication with Chaldea. Since this place hasn't been completely digitized yet, Chaldea should still be able to observe us. No matter how mutated or twisted this place becomes, as long as the Near-Future Observation Lens: Sheba can reflect your form, they can perform a Rayshift recall."

Because of her damaged Spirit Graph, the petite girl was becoming increasingly fragile. Though she pretended to ignore it along the way, she was internally like a glass doll covered in cracks, liable to shatter at any moment. At this moment, the girl gazed at Gudako with incredibly gentle eyes and asked softly:

"What do you want to do?"

Gudako widened her eyes, seemingly asking the girl: 'Then what about you?'

"I am an Alter Ego, not a human. I have no concept of a previous life; I am a doll created specifically because of this space. I certainly can't go anywhere else, and perhaps I shouldn't appear anywhere else. So... please, escape. Return to Chaldea with Shirou. If it's for that sake, I can keep fighting."

"..." Gudako didn't speak, just quietly watched the girl.

"Don't make a face like you're about to cry. If you are sad, I'll become clumsy from my head to my toes. If I can't even perform a ballet stand, then I have no value as the protagonist, right? So relax, be strong."

"As long as you are smiling, I am your ally; I won't fly away from the lakeside. Even if the mastermind behind this is the wicked witch who created me, I will not falter. I will carve a path for you with my secret technique, Palladion!"

Afterward, the group set out toward the "Feet." As they arrived, a noisy melody echoed around them—a sense of irritation akin to a child wanting to watch cartoons at 7:00 PM, only to have the remote snatched by an adult and hearing the theme music for the evening news start.

"Ara, how unsightly, Senpai. Despite having a group with you, you've spent the whole time running and struggling, only to finally arrive here." The purple-haired girl stood inside a screen with a mischievous grin. Behind her, the words "NEWS-BB~!" were displayed against a purplish-pink background.

"Gudako, don't pay it any mind. This is just one of BB's malicious jokes," Lilith advised, then glanced impatiently at the girl on the screen who looked so much like her. "And? What troublesome additional rule are you imposing now? Since it's you, I know without asking it'll be something incredibly annoying."

The BB on the screen lowered her brows and said, "Lilith, you rebellious child, you're quite the handful. Even though you're the most intelligent of the Sakura Five... well, that's why you've drifted so far from humanity."

"Lilith-chan..." Gudako looked at the petite girl and gave a kind smile.

"Don't get the wrong idea! I'm not some ally of humanity. I'm here acting for my own sake; I just don't want to be BB's pawn."

"Lip would listen to me properly. Is it really a problem caused by breast size? Does the difference in size lead to a warped personality? Is it that the smaller the person, the smaller the heart?" BB muttered to herself with some distress.

"Lilith, you..." Gawain looked at the petite girl.

"Shut up! This has nothing to do with breast size! Nothing at all! If you mention breast size again, I'll kill Gudako before I kill you!" Lilith yelled at the screen, her face flushed with anger.

"Ara, how terrifying. I've been caught by the tail," BB replied with a laugh. In the next moment, her eyes turned crimson as she threatened coldly: "If someone does something so tactless and stupid, my tolerance will run out, and I'll wipe everyone here out."

"Mya-ha-ha!! To prevent the world from being destroyed! To protect the peace of the world! To carry out the evil of love and truth! The lovely and charming villainess! Mya has arrived here, Woof!"

"Eh? Why is the Fox Lady who came with me on BB's side?!" Gawain shouted in surprise.

"Tamamo Cat, you came here too?" Gudako said, equally shocked.

"Ah! My Master from Chaldea, and my Master from the dream is here too~! Isn't this a harem? Mya is so happy, Woof~!" Tamamo Cat cupped her face with her giant paw-pads, her face flushed red with shy joy.

"Gudako... is this one a Servant you brought along too? She's a fox, right? Why does she call herself a cat and add 'Woof' to her sentences?"

"Though the Class is different, she's essentially the same person," Gudako answered.

"Master... after Mya arrived here, I was locked in a box. Finally, BB picked me up and put an Absolute Obedience collar on me. Now I am a house cat working for BB to repay her kindness, Woof~!"

Looking closely, besides the bell on Tamamo Cat's neck, there was indeed a new red collar. In her current state, she was no longer a Chaldean Servant but had become a "Sentinel" of the labyrinth.

BB said with a sweat-drop on her face: "She accepted a restraint device that could force even Lip to obey, yet for some reason, she can still talk like nothing happened. No, nothing 'Mya' happened?"

"Miss Cat, you haven't used the KP given to you at all from the start, have you?" BB sighed, covering her face in exasperation.

"KP?" Tamamo Cat looked puzzled and blinked.

"Yes, yes... I was the fool for having expectations of a kitty-cat. Honestly, if the 'Mr. Green Tea Robot Mass-Production Plan' had been ready in time, I wouldn't be in such a state," BB said helplessly.

However, the optimistic and wild Cat soon forgot her troubles and laughed heartily. "Mya-ha-ha! The fact that you chose to rely on a cat's help shows that everything has already gone off the rails!"

Beep!

BB on the screen seemed to press a button.

"Hmm? I feel a chill from under my feet. Is it a trap?" Tamamo Cat squinted her eyes, frowning suspiciously.

"Of course! Recall! Miss Cat, please stay on standby below!" BB said angrily.

"Okay~! Mya accepts this mission, Woof—! Goodbye, Masters~!~!~!"

A black hole suddenly appeared beneath her. Tamamo Cat fell through, her laughing reply turning into an echo from below before the hole sealed shut.

"..." Everyone present, from Lilith and Gawain to Gudako, fell silent.

"What can I say... it's good that she's so energetic even after being kidnapped," Shirou said with a dry laugh.

Blushing and enduring an awkward silence for a while, BB-chan laughed it off and prepared to exit.

"...Alright~! That's all for today's BB-News~! This has been everyone's eternally cute BB-chan~! Thanks for watching, and please keep tuning in to the next BB-Channel."

Lilith quickly spoke up to stop her: "Wait! Don't just run off because you failed. You haven't explained what this Holy Grail War is about. Why hasn't it ended? Why are 128 new Heroic Spirits being summoned?"

"Ah, that? I summoned them, the new Servants. Lip will be responsible for crushing them anyway, so I prepared in advance and summoned them directly. After all, there are fewer than thirty Servants left here now, and isn't that just boring?"

The purple-haired girl on the screen, her eyes now crimson, grinned cruelly and said: "If there's no slaughter or battle royale, this place has no meaning at all. It doesn't matter who the Servants are; I just summoned them randomly, and they'll probably have infighting anyway. If there isn't more intense resistance, I won't be able to recreate the grandeur of the Time Temple. This place craves thousands upon thousands of Heroic Spirits~!"

"What—! You said the Time Temple?! BB, you know what happened in that battle?" Gawain barked in anger.

BB acted indifferent, shrugging her shoulders. "Who knows? Records occurring outside the universe have no meaning to me. I'm just the GM here. Connecting the cause and effect of events has always been the responsibility of you 'spectators.' Alright, I've answered your question. See you next time!"

As the girl laughed and turned to leave, she seemed to remember something and looked at the boy. "Also, you over there, Senpai's Senpai~! Don't do anything unnecessary, or BB-chan will have to find a way to keep you in solitary confinement~!"

With that, BB shut down the communication and left.

"..." Shirou didn't respond. He watched BB leave, seemingly having thought of something, and fell into deep contemplation.

"In any case, let's go bring Cat back first!" Gudako said, clenching her fist.

Gawain happily agreed: "Oh! Continued exploration! Master! I shall stay by your side no matter where we go."

Beside them, Lilith watched the girl and also wore a smile.

"Shirou-senpai? Shirou-senpai?" Gudako noticed the boy had been dazing since a moment ago and walked up to call him.

"..." The pondering Shirou remained motionless, brow furrowed.

"Shirou-senpai?!" Gudako patted his shoulder.

"Ah, sorry. I got a bit lost in thought," Shirou said, snapped back to reality by the girl.

"Are you okay, Senpai?" Gudako asked worriedly. Although Senpai was reliable, he was ultimately a human in a mortal body just like her, and he had a tendency to be reckless. If he suffered a fatal injury here, it truly would be irreversible.

"You're in a weak human state too. If you're tired, don't force yourself. If you collapse halfway, it'll be a bother for me," Lilith added, looking at Shirou.

"Ah, I'm fine. It's just that there are some things I need to investigate. Until I'm certain, I can't give you an answer. So, I've decided to leave for a bit. Gudako, during this time, you must protect yourself."

"Hmm? This time Senpai isn't going to take it all on himself and protect me like back in Shinjuku?" Gudako asked with a playful smile.

"Ah, last time I might have been a bit... Gudako, the paths you've walked and the eras you've saved—those are all yours. From here on, you'll likely have to face different kinds of battles as well. I'll rejoin you once I've cleared up my investigation, so until then, take care of yourself."

"Hmph. As long as I'm here, I won't let Gudako get hurt. Your appearance was an unplanned variable anyway; I never expected much from you in your 'boy' state. If you want to go, then go! In fact, hurry up and leave! Go!" Lilith said.

"Yes, yes. I'm counting on you. But don't push yourself either; rely on everyone a bit more." Shirou reached out his hand and patted the girl's head.

"I told you not to just pat a lady's head! Fine, I get it! Let go already!" Lilith, who seemed to have no resistance to the boy's actions, lowered her head with a blushing face. She let him pat her. Even though she wanted to pull away, her body wouldn't move. She, who was normally so dull to physical sensations, felt a strange, intense stimulation only at a time like this.

"He-hey~! Lilith, Shirou-senpai's head-pats feel really good! Enjoy it a bit more!" Gudako laughed and hugged the girl's slender waist, preventing her from leaving.

"Waaaaah, Gudako, don't just hug me suddenly!" The girl's face grew even redder, and her body temperature rose rapidly. Because her body was normally so dull to sensation, being caught in a double-sandwich by people she cared about was a bit too much overstimulation.
