"Give me your purse you bitch" Kira cursed at me while dragging my hair
"ah" i screamed in the bathroom. they ransacked my bag pack took all the expensive stuff inside that clearly weren't books and i can't do anything about it.
"You escaped us all those times because your brothers always protected you, well they went to sports camp and a math's competition so no one can help you Kira said while making an irritated face. "ah" i yelped as she as she dragged my hair again
"Please stop, what did i ever do to you?" i cried
"you think you're something because you're rich and you have cool brothers to protect you? well bad luck today" Kira dragged me into a bathroom stall and locked me inside and left me there. i was crying for help. the small space reminded me about what happened 11 years ago, in the fire. i clutched my throat, i feel so suffocated, my breathing becoming shallower and louder, before i could fade into the darkness, the door was kicked open and i was dragged out by someone, i looked at him and my eyes met Aidens', my direct elder stepbrother
"Are you ok?" Aiden asked
"Maya answer me" aiden yelled.
i felt so dizzy
"aiden? what are you doing here? this is the girls bathroom" i questioned
"how can that be the only thing you care about right now? " he said as he gave me a warm tight hug.
he pulled me out of his embrace "who this this to you? "
i didn't say anything
"i said who in this freakin' school did this to you" he yelled
i felt so scared, Aiden has never yelled at me before. i felt so heavy hearted, that tears began dropping down from my eyes
"oh no, no, no ,no ,no, please don't cry, i didn't mean to yell" he started stroking my hair softly
"i'm so sorry, please don't yell at me" i cried
"no, i'm sorry, i shouldn't have yelled at you. please forgive me, ok." he then gave me a soft kiss on the forehead
"it's Kira. she took my things and shoved me in the bathroom. i was so scared" i said through tears
"Oh, I'm gonna kill her" he said through gritted teeth
"now, please, isn't she your girlfriend?" i asked scared
"Oh, we broke up the moment she made you cry." he helped me get up and took me out of the bathroom angry and we stormed off to Kira's class.
