Chapter 21 - Roots

In the forest of darkness, the group of four continued to wander, Berkas lost his enthusiasm after some time, finding everything very boring, the dark magic of the place did nothing for his draconic body.

Glamdyr would pick up his harp from time to time and play a few notes, with some rhymes he thought of, Berkas got angry and yelled at him, but the elf would soon start singing again.

"Aunt Hera, what are we, I mean, me and my brothers?" Berkas, bored, let his mind wander and asked a question he had thought of a long time ago, but had forgotten.

-What do you mean? - Hera approached with her horse and asked confused.

"Like, my mom's an elf, my dad's a dragon, what does that make me? An elf? A dragon? Alduin too, but Hela's half-human, so... it's confusing," Berkas explained doubtfully.

Hera paused for a moment, thoughtful. "Well, your father never seemed to think about it. He created so many things and named them, but he never really named his own children. I think to him, you're not just creations that need to be named."

"Well... but that still doesn't tell me how I should present myself in the future, you know, when I'm a great warrior known throughout Middle-earth! Will I be the great elf dragon Berkas? Or the majestic elf dragon Berkas?" Berkas looked thoughtful, considering this seriously, making Olwyn laugh and Hera stifle her own laughter.

"Maybe the loudmouth brat, Berkas." Glamdyr spoke from the side.

Berkas became furious and gave him the middle finger. "The worst of the bards, Glamdyr, The musical terror, Glamdyr, the dead man's mouth, Glamdyr..." Berkas began to invent all sorts of horrible titles for Glamdyr, who also became furious, and soon the two wanted to jump off their horses and fight.

Olwyn sighed and shook her head. "Those two together are truly awful, I don't know what the king was thinking."

Hera looked at Olwyn, opened her mouth and closed it again, shaking her head, well, at least the trip isn't boring.

The group moved forward until they saw a short man on a rabbit sled speeding through the forest not far from them.

"What is that?!" Berkas was shocked and excited, speeding up his horse to chase.

-Berkas! - Hera shouted worriedly and chased right behind, Olwyn sighed and chased with Glamdyr.

On Dragon Mountain, Alduin knelt on one knee upon the stone throne, as did Hela, Legolas, and Wynah behind him, and he raised his hand with the palantir upon it.

Smaug smiled, waving his finger, the Palantir flew to him, his mouth grew rapidly and he swallowed it whole.

"Yes, you did well." Smaug nodded. "I already told Durin that you can ask for your things, your armor can be made too, you haven't grown much anymore, it's okay to be a little looser for now."

Hela, Alduin, and Wynah were happy and thanked him enthusiastically. Finally, Smaug's gaze turned to Legolas. "You helped. Tell me, Legolas, son of Thranduil, what do you wish from the great dragon, Smaug?"

Legolas looked at Smaug in surprise, not expecting to be rewarded, but soon calmed down, first he looked at Hela, but the heat in the room increased quickly, with smoke coming out of the king's mouth, so he hurriedly looked away, Hela, of course, was very angry, but remained silent.

Legolas, sweating coldly, quickly gave up, he just wanted to ask Hela to go to the forest kingdom for a while, but it seems the dragon king is already on guard.

In fact, Legolas started with a good impression of her and then fell in love, Hela was... different, lively, witty, fighter, fun, nothing like the elves he knew, she was not afraid to speak her mind and never hid her interest, so Legolas found himself discovering a mutual interest.

But this dragon father... it seems his relationship with his daughter won't be easy to handle.

"I need nothing, King Smaug, I only acted for justice and friendship." Legolas shook his head. Indeed, besides Hela's company, there was nothing that interested him, but he didn't think asking for that would let him leave here alive.

"Oh... so you think I'm a stingy dragon who doesn't give rewards when they're deserved?" Smaug narrowed his eyes, clearly looking for trouble.

Legolas broke out in a cold sweat again.

-Dad! I'm really going to be mad this time! - Smoke came out of Hela's mouth, clearly irritated.

Smaug pursed his lips in irritation, he opened his mouth and spat out three arrows. "Here, boy, don't tell me I'm stingy." He threw the arrows and flew away, clearly irritated.

Legolas took the arrows firmly and looked at them with interest, their grayish silver tips surprised him. "Mithril?"

-Yes, well, it's not much, but considering it's my father and it's for you, it's already more than I expected. - Hela sighed.

"That... is very expensive." Legolas didn't want to accept it, in fact he was thinking about how this was a waste of material.

"Agree, the queens' armor and weapons are all made of this, and now we're getting armor too! Besides my dagger, Mom wouldn't let Dad give me anything else made of Mithril, she's so stingy..." Hela rolled her eyes at her mother.

Legolas' lips trembled, he also wanted a father like that, in the end he took the arrows, they could be useful in the future.

He would let the artificers enchant them to improve their power.

Legolas then accompanied the group to make their armor and the rings of Wynah and Alduin.

Hela looked at the rings with interest and at Legolas a little shyly, Legolas strangely seemed to feel the mountain air warm up a little at that moment.

-I'm going to kill him! - Smaug's eyes were full of fire, beneath him, Tauriel was on all fours, being fucked hard.

Helena beside her was already a mess, Tauriel moaned loudly, holding the sheets trying to steady herself, failing miserably.

Smaug was angry, he channeled the anger into something productive, it was Helena's idea, so she was fucked hard to the point of passing out, that hadn't happened in a while.

Tauriel didn't escape, also being caught in the crossfire, she mentally cursed Helena a thousand times, but she was still devastated hard.

In the end she fainted too, Smaug wanted to look for Hera, but remembered that she left with Barkas and was furious with his youngest son, thinking of beating him when he returned.

Sighing, he used vitality to heal the women as he took them to the stone-carved tub, he poured water and heated it with his fire, cleansing them while they still slept.

Tauriel woke up first, he went easier on her, after all Helena liked it hard, Tauriel didn't, so he slowed down with her, even so he was still heavier than usual and looked a little embarrassed now.

Tauriel rolled her eyes at him, sighed, and sat on his lap, laying her head on his chest.

They didn't say anything, they just hugged each other like that.

Then Helena woke up, smiled and went underwater, asking, how long can a moon elf hold their breath? Helena continues to break records.

Tauriel watched the head bob up and down over the water, then looked at Smaug who had clear satisfaction written on his face, smiled slightly and lowered his head, kissing him gently.

Smaug took Helena off his cock, she protested when she got up with wet hair, but Smaug had already placed Tauriel on top of him, kissing her lovingly and impaling her gently, she went up and down slowly, still kissing him, Helena sighed and grabbed a soap, going to wash herself first.

When he came inside her, she moaned into his lips, clenching tightly, sucking him dry.

She fell asleep soon after, she didn't pass out, she just slept.

Smaug got up, dried her and put her on the bed, then took Helena and fucked her against the bathroom wall, she moaned excitedly and growled as he thrust into her, he didn't take long, he just gave her another bath, took her to the bedroom and lay between them, hugging them.

-Better? - Helena asked, playing with her finger on his chest.

"Very much." Smaug nodded.

-Good. - She laid her head on his chest and slept comfortably.

Smaug sighed, then went to sleep as well, Legolas unaware that the queens had helped him again.

-Damn it, why are you chasing me? - The short wizard asked angrily.

-Are you a dwarf? - Berkas stopped his horse, asking curiously.

-Dwarf?! I'm not a dwarf! I'm a wizard! Radagast the brown! - The man shouted angrily.

"A wizard? My father told me about you guys. You're like Aunt Aluna, one of those... I forget the name, anyway. Do you know Gandalf? Dad says he's a boring old man who likes to talk mysteriously." Barkas began to ramble as Hera caught up with him, exasperated.

Radagast was confused and scratched his dirty head.

"Lord Radagast, please forgive Berkas, he is just a curious child." Hera sighed, the last two arriving behind him.

Radagast looked at them and waved dismissively. "No problem, nothing much, now I must go."

-Wait! Lord Radagast, have you seen Gandalf around? I'm looking for him? - Hera asked quickly.

"Gandalf? I saw him... I... when did I see him again?" Radagast began to look confused, searching his head for the information. "Last year? Or ten years ago? I can't remember..."

Hera pursed her lips, remembering Smaug saying that Radagast was a bit... unique, she seemed to understand now.

"Well, I haven't seen you in a long time, sorry." Radagast shook his head.

-It's okay, if you see him, please tell him that Hera is okay and is looking for him. - The woman said.

"Hera? That name isn't unfamiliar to me... yes! It was Gandalf who asked me to look for you a... a long time ago, isn't that you? Well, he'll be happy when he finds out, I'll tell him when I see it." Radagast promised.

Hera opened and closed her mouth, wondering if Radagast would remember, in the end she sighed and thanked him.

-Auntie, shall we meet old Gandalf? - Berkas asked with interest after Radagast left.

"If we're lucky, Gandalf is always on the move, now let's go, we still have to cross the dark mountains." Hera shook her head and continued forward.

-Where are we going? - Berkas asked curiously.

"Rivendell, perhaps Lord Elrond has seen Gandalf," she explained.

-Brown as tree bark, earth and mud, Radagast, the wizard, calls out to the animals, he comes on his sleigh, carried by rabbits, he is Radagast, the protector of the cedars! - Beside him, Glamdyr had begun to sing again, Berkas became enraged and threw his boot at him, soon the two began to fight again.

-Olwyn sighed and went to break up the fight.

Beside Yggdrasil, Aluna sat against the tree, reading a book, a tale about a knight from long ago.

She read it calmly with the breeze passing by her, the children around her made noise, but it didn't seem to bother her, the children also didn't approach the tree, treating it with respect, her parents said she was alive, they had heard her speak before, even though they didn't understand anything about the sound of the trees.

The only one allowed to approach was Aluna, she was known as the lady of fire or the lady of the white tree, they say she would be one of the king's queens, so everyone respected her.

Aluna didn't mind the noise around her, she actually liked the sound of the children, the tree behind her also seemed very happy when they were around.

Aluna leaned her head against the tree and closed her eyes, feeling at peace, until a shadow covered the sunlight, she opened her eyes and saw Smaug, looking at Yggdrasil he placed his hand on the tree.

The tree grew a few more centimeters before stopping. "Yggdrasil, give me a seed."

The tree responded, Aluna could hear, it liked Smaug, so from its branch a seed began to sprout, he took it when it was ready, looked at it, threw it into his mouth, stroked the tree and left.

Aluna looked at the retreating figure, confused and curious, she got up and followed him.

Smaug turned his head to her and asked, "What is it?"

-Are you going to plant another tree? - She asked.

-No, I will put down roots, mobile roots. - Smaug smiled.

Aluna was a little confused, but she followed him anyway, he didn't stop her.

He soon found a thrush's nest, he climbed the tree in one jump and picked up one of the eggs, looking at the egg, he nodded.

He sat down on the grass and Aluna sat beside him, her curiosity growing.

Smaug began to chant in Elvish as he held the egg against the seed of Yggdrasil.

Elven magic... he changed it recently.

Aluna watched as the egg seemed to enter the seed, then it began to inject vitality, a lot of vitality, he took it back to Yggdrasil meanwhile, the seed seemed indifferent to the vitality, he didn't care.

He planted the seed next to Yggdrasil and said to it, "This is your first root, take good care of it."

The tree groaned, it understood, it was a little confused, but its roots stretched to the seed and it seemed to feel something, something went out from the tree to the seed, a little of the vitality contained in the tree and also something... spiritual.

The seed that had not sprouted until then changed.

Aluna watched in surprise as a small white tree grew, but this tree only grew for a few inches before stopping, then a bud began to form, it grew slowly, but Aluna did not look away, Smaug stood beside her, watching, as day turned to night and as night turned to day, they stayed there for a week, until the bud opened, a white flower emerged, from it, a small thrush opened its eyes, it didn't look like a chick, already being full of feathers with a streamlined body, it was a white thrush, it looked around confused, before looking at Smaug and Aluna.

He flew to them, petted Smaug for a bit and then did the same to her. She looked surprised. That bird was connected to Yggdrasil. They weren't the same, but it was almost like that, as if it were part of her at the same time as it was something different.

"The white thrush will roam Middle-earth, gathering joy, purity, and happiness. He will help those in need and fight evil. In the future, there will be many of them. They may not be strong, but sometimes it's the little things that make the difference," Smaug commented, stealing Gandalf's line. "I had this idea before, but it was only with the elves' magic that I managed to achieve it. After all, mixing animal and plant life isn't easy. I had to use my vitality to make it all fit together."

Aluna didn't answer, looking at him, then at the thrush, she smiled, a smile that Smaug hadn't seen in a long time, a smile lost when she learned who Smaug really was.

-Thank you. - Student said.

-I didn't do it for you. - He shook his head.

She laughed lightly. "For that, I'm grateful."

Smaug looked at her in confusion, but shook his head. "If you're grateful, you should thank her in another way." He pointed to his lips.

Aluna looked at him with a light smile, approached and pulled his head towards her, she gave him a chaste, gentle kiss, but there was endless love there.

Not just for Smaug, but for the world, every bit of beauty and goodness in it.

Smaug opened his eyes when she separated, the thrush already flying around her, she smiled and wanted to pull away, but he didn't let her, he pulled her back, placing her on his lap, he hugged her tightly, feeling her on top of him.

Aluna... a strange woman, a woman who made him want to be good, a woman who made him fall in love without even knowing it. - You bring out the best in me, be mine, Aluna.

The student smiled and stayed on his chest, speaking. "Are you sure? You know what I do to you, you know you can change because of me, will you open up to being who you are for me?"

-No, I will still be Smaug, I always will be, but for you, I may not change my destiny, but I can make turns and open new paths, I hope you can accept me, just as I accept you. - Smaug spoke sincerely.

Aluna remained silent, placed her hand over the dragon's heart and felt the soft but vigorous beat.

"Your heart doesn't lie, just like mine doesn't either. Just as you once told me, this land is corrupt, you are my corruption. You showed me more than I asked for, and I found myself sinking into this life willingly. I don't know what Love is, Smaug, but you've brought me happiness. So if you want me as your wife, I'll give you this body to love." The woman looked into his eyes, placing her hand on his chin and looking at him gently.

Smaug shook his head. "If it were anyone else, I would accept it, but you, I don't just want your body, I want your love, I want all of you, my greed for you consumes me, every time I lay eyes on you, I find myself yearning, yearning for your affection, for your light, so I'm sorry, I'm a greedy dragon, I want everything you can give me."

Aluna laughed, her laughter bringing warmth to whoever heard it, but there was only them there, the little thrush pushing everyone else away, only the white tree swaying in the wind lightly.

"You are truly my fate, so very well, make me love you, Smaug, then I will give you what you wish." Aluna placed her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes, feeling at peace.

Smaug didn't answer, he hugged the small body, protecting it from the whole world, the white thrush at his side, flying around the tree, before leaving, going far away, bringing with him the roots of Yggdrasil.
