Chapter 12 - Kid

Another ten years passed and the Imps reached maturity, as they grew, they became calmer, much calmer, so much so that they began to resemble the other Hobbits, but they were still trained to fight by the giant elves, they did not refuse, compared to the Hobbits, they were very fierce when they fought.

Even using their mouths to try to bite, a giant elf almost lost an ear like that, luckily Smaug managed to heal him.

The imps soon found their place on the mountain, they lived with the Hobbits and got along very well, the Hobbits also accepted the Imps, after all they were very similar and came from themselves.

Some even saw themselves as parents of these children.

Agriculture soon flourished and the upper garden expanded.

The Gargoyles worked under the command of the giant elves to build walls on top of the mountain, a large expanse of land was created west of the mountain facing the Iron Hills.

The mountain was huge and it was difficult to see from below, along with Smaug's magic to ward off flying species that could serve as spies, there wasn't much danger of exposure, plus the food was now plentiful with more variety, so the imps were very welcome on the mountain.

Smaug let the hobbits name the imps, after all there were too many of them to take the trouble, not even the firstborn was named, he saw them only as farmers after all, at most in a critical situation they could be of some help in the war.

The imps were closer to the giant elves because they were the ones who created them, so next time he'll let the moon elves be in charge of the dwarves.

Speaking of which...

-Damn it! Let me go! You damned elves! - While Smaug was using the eye of the sky during the night, he found this dwarf not far away, admiring the mountain, it was really a coincidence, he let the night elves go on their first mission, Helena was so excited that she kissed him and ran off, going to get her thestral.

So soon Helena returned with a team of 10 moon elves.

They wore black Assassin's Creed style clothing, now with their hoods lowered, a dwarf being carried between them.

Smaug, half-elf and half-dragon, upon the mountain throne, looked down at the dwarf.

The dwarf was confused and shocked, but was still dragged there in a rage.

"Thorin, oak shield... I don't know if you're brave or stupid." Smaug was very surprised to see the dwarf, for a moment he was confused as to why he had come here alone, was he looking for his father?

"That voice... you're Smaug!" Thorin was shocked and confused, then looked at the elves and shouted. "Are you working with the dragon?! Elves really are the biggest traitorous bastards."

The moon elves looked at Thorin angrily, but in the end, they said nothing. Helena went to Smaug and sat on his lap, her clothing white instead of black, to show her leadership.

Smaug chuckled lightly, but then thought of something amusing. "Thorin, after all, the line of Durin will return to the mountain." He chuckled happily at the idea.

Helena also seemed to understand and laughed lightly, looking at Thorin with pity and amusement.

-What are you talking about, dragon! -Thorin shouted, looking at Helena in disgust, but still spoke to the humanoid Smaug.

"Ah... don't worry, you won't remember anything until you need to remember." In reality, controlling a dwarf was difficult, very difficult, their spirits were as hard as the mountains beneath their feet, but he didn't need to control them, he just wanted to make them forget something. That would consume a lot of magic, but it was possible.

So Thorin left normally after a month, placed where he was caught, without knowing what happened.

Within the mountain, the Orcs were all pregnant again, the line of Thorin, Oakenshield, would live on!

When Hera and Tauriel found out, they sighed at the dwarves' fate being the opposite of Smaug's, but by this point, after years, they had grown accustomed to Smaug and his "lesser" actions were easily disregarded.

A month after Thorin's departure, the first hybrid was born.

Like the moon elves, their hair is white, but their skin is more gray than white, like the giant, diminutive elves. As a joke, he named Thorin's first son Durin, causing Tauriel and Hera to roll their eyes at him.

The dwarves were in charge of the moon elves, they would also be trained in combat and forging by the giant elves, but would be taught the rest by the moon elves.

Their homes were deeper in the mountains, near the mines, there were five hundred little five-year-old dwarves running around, also hyperactive, but much less than the Imps, who looked like little demons when they were young.

Life on the mountain settled down and Smaug finally felt that everything was going right, he just needed to grow like a snowball.

It was only two years later that an unexpected event happened, Helena was pregnant.

Helena was overjoyed when she found out, the nausea came first and then her belly grew slightly, then everything became clear, Smaug on the other hand was not so happy.

He looked at Helena's belly and fell into deep thought.

-Don't worry, I know I can do it. - Helena felt something and approached, placing her forehead against his, he didn't respond.

-I feel your fear, it makes me happy and sad at the same time. - Helena spoke calmly. - But you must trust me, I won't leave you.

Smaug looked into her eyes, the other two women beside her a little worried, Smaug held her gently and placed his nose in her white hair.

Hugging her tightly, he felt his world grow grayer, he sighed and spoke. "I will save you, no matter what it takes." He promised, but more than a promise, it was an ultimatum.

Every woman in the room could hear, if he felt something was wrong he would rip the baby out by force if necessary.

Helena tightened her grip around him a little.

For the first time in her life, she felt confused.

The king she loved most, the unborn son.

She wanted to give it to him, but she only saw suffering in his eyes, not the joy she expected.

But she understood, he loved her more than anything, so he was afraid of losing her, she placed her hand on her stomach and fell into deep thought, she felt sorry for her life, but she loved the king more. "If it comes to that, I won't stop you," she promised.

Smaug felt a little relieved, he feared that his actions would make Helena hate him, but he feared even more losing her.

The two women beside them didn't speak, but their lips trembled slightly. They weren't Helena, could they give up their children so easily? They didn't know, but seeing Smaug's gaze, they knew he would never give up on them, and it made them fear for their unborn children.

They could only hope that for Helena, they would find the answer within themselves: would babies kill their mothers? Or would they be born normally?

The news was not announced, but in the following months, while he used a lot of vitality to strengthen her and a little to avoid problems with the baby, everyone could see Helena's belly growing.

An heir would come, the mountain was euphoric.

Smaug on the other hand was more sullen, spoke less, ate less, went out less.

He surrounded Helena all the time, even though he contained his impulses and barely attacked Tauriel and Hera.

The two didn't say anything, but they were understanding.

Helena should have been happy with all this attention, but she wasn't, she felt the weight on Smaug sinking her, he looked at her as if it were the last time, he held her as if she were going to break.

This made her cry in her rare moments alone, everything was different than she expected, she looked at her belly with complicated eyes.

Had she made a mistake? She had considered getting rid of the fetus before, but that wouldn't solve the problem. The king needed children, and she would give them to him. But the king also needed his queen, and it was at this point that she found herself torn and desperate.

Tauriel and Hera also approached, helping with the little things, the trio became more united than before, soon the mountain also seemed to feel the weight of the king's mood, the passes became quieter, the atmosphere more tense and even the mountains cried more, the rain fell almost every day, under the weight of the ruler's mood on the mountain.

The more time passed and the bigger the baby got, the darker Smaug's mood became.

But she was still a normal size for an elf, maybe a little bigger, but Smaug's patience was running out, the baby could survive prematurely, he was ready to end this.

But something came first, as she stood up after eating, Helena was hugged by Smaug, heading towards the garden, she wanted to get some air, but at that moment, the sound of water falling from beneath her, Helena held her stomach in pain and Smaug widened his eyes.

"Hera! Tauriel! Bring the midwife!" Smaug ran with Helen in his arms, carrying her to a room he had prepared beforehand. It was clean, with all kinds of instruments beside it. A human woman soon ran in. She was bewitched, having delivered dozens of babies, it was the best he could do.

As Helena moaned in pain, he didn't leave, he held her hand and continued to send vitality, as much as she could bear, a constant flow of energy entered her body, relieving her, the midwife began to work, Tauriel and Hera outside the door, Olwyn soon arrived, as did Loki and his wife, the group heard the screams and became quiet, too nervous to say.

What happened in that room could decide the fate of Arda, if the king went mad... they didn't know what Smaug would do.

Hours passed, Smaug held Helena's hand as she strained constantly, her appearance was tired, but her skin was still glowing, he never stopped sending energy at any time, so she wasn't so bad, even the pain was relieved.

Finally, a cry was heard.

Smaug didn't look at the child, he looked at Helena, who finally looked relieved, Helena opened her tired eyes and looked at him, she wanted to ask about the child, but looking into his eyes, she knew he wouldn't care about that now.

She felt happy, happy to be alive, happy that he didn't go crazy, she pulled his hand tightly, he understood and hugged her lightly, on the other side, the umbilical cord was cut and the woman was working to finish the procedure.

Beside him, Tauriel and Hera had already entered, holding the baby carefully, looking at him with a relieved smile. "You're very lucky, little guy."

His hair was white like his mother's, his eyes were yellow and narrow like his father's, two small black horns without tips grew on his forehead, his ears were pointed, his canines were pronounced, his nails were already sharp, his white skin looked normal, but you could feel the slightly scaly texture underneath.

-He's... very cute, honestly I expected something more... - Hera didn't say anything, but Tauriel understood, she expected that too.

"It's good that he was born well." She sighed, looking at the child with a motherly smile, then looked at Hera with concern. "At least we know that the children of elves and dragons are like that, but as for you... it remains to be seen."

Hera didn't speak, she was also a little worried, but not much, after all this was still far from her.

For the next few hours, Smaug never left Helena's side, smiling at her and talking to her, putting vitality into her until she was completely healed.

Helena wanted to see the baby, but she also hoped that the king would calm down first, finally she was released and the baby who was sleeping with Tauriel was brought.

Looking at the sleeping little one, she smiled and played with his little horns. "You'll be a little dragon like your father." She said lovingly, hugging her son lovingly.

Now calm, Smaug also looked at his son curiously, Helena passed him to him, he took him carefully and looked, the little dragon could feel something, the black slits on the light yellow stared at him, the pair looked at each other, Smaug seemed to feel something, deep down.

A smile appeared on his face. Helena beside him was relieved to see this. She was tired and wanted to sleep, but before that, she asked, "Honey, what's his name?"

Smaug didn't answer at first, thoughtful, he remembered something, seeing the cold eyes looking at him and the black horns on his forehead, he smiled. - His name is Alduin, Alduin, son of Smaug, born of fear and despair, he will bring them back to their enemies...

Helena smiled, looking at her happy son, she picked him up and showed him her breast, he began to suck quickly, even though he already had teeth, he didn't bite, as if he didn't want to hurt his mother.

-Alduin... my child... it's a beautiful name. - Helena smiled and ended up falling asleep while breastfeeding.

Smaug took his son and handed him to Tauriel, he took Helena and took her to the room.

The child's room was next to his, a moon elf nanny would be responsible for taking care of the child and would sleep with her.

When Helen recovered, a great feast was held, Smaug presented his son, Alduin, to his kingdom, the subjects applauded excitedly and shouted the name of Alduin, Smaug's heir.

Smaug planned to let the child grow up quickly like the others, but Helena refused, she wanted to have the experience of being a mother.

Smaug did not refuse, not because he was persuaded with breasts full of milk, not at all.

Now relieved, Smaug returned to his debauched life, but his days of fucking with Helena were interrupted, she needed to feed the child a few times a day, so they could only play a little.

To console him, Helena was very bold, even doing it outdoors while they hid from the Hobbits and Imps.

Smaug loved her so much...

Of course, his other wives also suffered from the lack of Helena who usually took the lead.

Hera and Tauriel were soon forced to spend the entire day taking turns drinking water and eating quickly.

Smaug finally stopped a few months later, feeling his accumulated stress finally melt away.

He then left and flew away, this time he went to Orthanc, in the Isengard valley.

He remembered that Saruman was not yet in the tower and there was a Palantir there.

(A/N: Actually he was, but I forgot when I wrote this and I was too lazy to change it, so just assume he wasn't.)

So he went there to get it.

The tower was still guarded by Gondor, arriving there, he transformed into his humanoid form and approached the tower carefully.

The guard was not tight, just a few dozen guards, he approached and used mental magic to ignore him, compared to the elves and dwarves, the human mind was much simpler to bewitch.

He entered and was guided by a soldier to the bottom of the tower, there were several items kept there, none of which were useful to him, except the Palantir.

He picked it up, opened his mouth, which grew quite large, and swallowed the item.

The next moment he changed it, a message he hadn't seen in years reappearing.

[Skill Acquired: Spirit Connection]

[Put some of your power over someone, you can connect to them to see and hear with their eyes, including communicating mentally.]

Smaug's lips quirked, this was a good thing.

Removing the memories about his coming, Smaug turned away and flew away, returning home, he put energy into all his subordinates and queens as soon as he returned, the receivers of the ability could also stimulate the energy on their own, as a communication request notification.

That way he would know where his subordinates went.

Despite the corruption in his body, it did not affect his magic, his magic was pure, so he could still use normal fire normally, but he could also use corruption to harness it, when he consumed corruption, part of it reinforced his magic and body, that's why his scales turned black, but the magic was purified.

In any case, perhaps due to Helena's "luck", the next to get pregnant, two years later, was Hera.

He thought it would be Tauriel first, or that his seed wouldn't work on her, but when his belly grew and the nausea started, he understood that it was just hard, very hard.

Hera was somewhere between scared, resigned, and expectant.

She saw Helena with Alduin and could even treat him as a son, but in the end he was not her son, so when her turn came, she was fearful, but also expectant, asking God for her child to be more humanoid and not an ugly monster.

Compared to Helena, now Smaug with some knowledge believed that Hera would be fine, even so he was still nervous, so it was Hera's turn to be taken care of.

The woman sighed in resignation. Unlike Helena, who loved Smaug's attention, Hera found it very irritating. Why? Well, Smaug even followed her to the bathroom!

He would stand outside the door waiting like a weirdo, knowing he was hearing her, she was dying of embarrassment, wanting to open the door and cut him with her sword.

Oh, he confiscated her weapons, she was banned from training.

The good thing was that the place on his lap now belonged to her, Helena pursed her lips, but didn't say anything, at least not while she was still pregnant.

The midwife was hired permanently, she received a fixed salary and could live on the mountain, so she brought her husband and daughter, who despite being scared, still stayed on the mountain with her, she began to teach some interested moon elves how to heal.

Elven healing magic is actually better, but Tauriel was a warrior and didn't learn much of it. According to her, magic was something very difficult to learn and could take hundreds of years to be considered "acceptable," so few elves were interested in it.

Even Smaug uses his magic naturally, after all he was born with it, even so the magic he can do is limited and learning more wasn't worth much to him.

So they had to go little by little.
