The glimpse of the future had left everyone shaken.
The sights were magnificent—yet drenched in tragedy.
No one spoke for a long time.
Naruto remained calm, but Orochimaru's eyes gleamed with a heat that made Sasuke's eyelid twitch.
That greedy, excited stare made Sasuke instantly understand what the Sannin was thinking.
"Orochimaru-senpai," Sasuke said flatly, "I won't let you experiment on me. But I'm sure you'll be very interested in this."
He raised his fist.
Orochimaru raised his.
Tap.
Through that simple fist bump, memories, techniques, formulas, and future research data flowed from Sasuke's mind into Orochimaru's.
Of course, Orochimaru wouldn't understand everything immediately.
But with the road laid out, the research methods provided, and the destination visible, it was enough.
Sasuke wasn't a professional researcher, but his years fighting beside Naruto had exposed him to countless technologies and breakthroughs.
He didn't understand the most advanced systems of the future Ninja World—but techniques that were five years ahead of the current timeline were already enough to push the Ninja World onto an accelerated path.
After passing knowledge to Orochimaru, he turned to Naruto.
"Naruto, these are future-era Chakra refinement methods, Martial Arts Divine Power guidance techniques, the layout for a Spirit-Gathering Array, several future-generation Ninjutsu, and part of the method for forming the Six Paths of Reincarnation. But—listen carefully—do NOT attempt to form the Six Paths of Reincarnation for the next two years."
Naruto nodded, but Sasuke continued sternly:
"The appearance of the Six Paths of Reincarnation was first detected by the Shinigami in the Pure Land. That attracted their attention—and their greed. They forced the Ninja World to share half of the underworld's authority with them."
"They were the ones who ultimately attacked you in the future—for their own benefit."
"So before perfecting the Six Paths laws, you must grow stronger. Perfecting the Six Paths balances life and death, souls and reincarnation, and…"
Sasuke began listing the principles one by one.
Naruto quietly absorbed it.
As the one planning to uplift the Pure Land into a true Reincarnation Underworld, Naruto understood its importance more than anyone.
But even he was shocked at how terrifying the enemies of the future were.
Ten years—that was all it took for the world to change beyond recognition.
Yet Naruto felt no fear.
With Heaven-Rewards-Diligence guiding his cultivation, he believed that with enough time, even the so-called True God realm would not be beyond his reach.
What Sasuke didn't know was that the Death God Clan coveted the underworld because mastering its laws was their path to divinity.
If they obtained Sasuke's authority, they had the chance to create a True God of their own—and elevate their clan into one of the universe's strongest forces.
Strong enough to rival the Ōtsutsuki Clan, who ruled the cosmos precisely because they had two True Gods:
The ancestor of the Rinnegan.
The ancestor of the Tenseigan.
The techniques Sasuke provided thrilled everyone—especially the new Chakra refinement methods and Martial Arts Divine Power guidance techniques.
The current system was already three times stronger than the original era's.
What Sasuke had delivered was on an entirely different level.
Naruto spoke openly about what he had received, but unlike the Raikage and the others, he believed the most valuable gift was something far simpler:
The universal mental meditation method.
This was the essence of spiritual cultivation.
To become truly powerful, physical strength was not enough—
Mental strength had to match it.
Six Paths-level experts could survive as pure souls.
That alone proved that spiritual power was as important as Chakra.
Sasuke also explained the complete path of future Martial Arts Divine Power, and the perfected advancement route for Super-Kage-level shinobi.
For example, the future path for a Ninja Super-Kage required the cultivation of three Dantians—upper, middle, and lower.
Originally, shinobi only cultivated the lower Dantian, located below the navel.
When Sage-Mode Chakra completely merged into that lower Dantian, a shinobi could enter the early Super-Kage stage—
not counting their mastery of Ninjutsu and other personal techniques.
Opening the middle Dantian, located in the chest, and fully integrating Sage Chakra into it allows a shinobi to step into the mid-Super Kage stage.
The upper Dantian, also known as the Mud-Ball Palace, is the seat of the spirit.
When the spirit absorbs Natural Energy and undergoes sublimation, the mind strengthens dramatically—this marks the peak of the Super Kage realm.
At this level, the difference comes down to pure combat prowess—whose techniques are sharper, whose Ninjutsu is superior, and whose foundation is more refined.
A small number of such shinobi can even contend with low-tier Six Paths-level opponents.
Of course, this refers only to the weakest among the Six Paths class.
Martial Arts Divine Power Path
Similarly, the Martial Arts Divine Power system tempers vitality, blood energy, and Natural Energy to elevate one's entire being.
Opening 12 acupoints → early-stage Super Kage
Opening 36 acupoints → mid-stage Super Kage
Opening 72 acupoints → late-stage Super Kage
Opening 108 acupoints → perfect Super Kage; strong enough to challenge a weak Six Paths-level enemy
Though the shinobi Super Kage path seems to have fewer stages than the Martial Arts Divine Power system, it is actually far more difficult—
Especially the final step: the mental fusion with Natural Energy.
A slight misstep leads to madness or total cognitive collapse.
But once successful, the leap in power is tremendous—jumping directly from late-stage to peak Super Kage in an instant.
Martial artists grow more steadily, constantly tempering their spirit through repeated breakthroughs.
Both shinobi and martial artists can cultivate the universal mental meditation technique.
Rise of Genjutsu in the Future
With the appearance of mental meditation, the number of Genjutsu-type shinobi skyrocketed in the future.
In the current era, A-rank Genjutsu is already top tier.
But in the future era, mass-produced Genjutsu specialists gave rise to techniques rivaling Mangekyō Genjutsu.
Naturally, future Mangekyō Genjutsu also became much stronger.
The Uchiha Clan—long known as the strongest Genjutsu bloodline—benefited the most.
Thanks to Orochimaru and the Second Hokage—who became like-minded collaborators in the future—the threshold for awakening the Mangekyō Sharingan became lower.
Path Toward Six Paths
The method for stepping into the Six Paths level remained incomplete.
Aside from comprehending the deeper truths behind the seven fundamental Chakra natures, there was no other reliable shortcut.
Martial Arts Divine Power, however, had a speculative path formulated by Sasuke:
By using the Nine Revolutions Demigod stage as a foundation, one could attempt to condense a true Martial Arts Golden Body. After nine complete refinements, forcibly break into the Six Paths level.
If successful, such a being would likely surpass ordinary Six Paths experts.
Unfortunately, because of the chaos of war, no one in the future survived long enough to complete this path.
In the future, the one who walked the furthest on the Martial Arts Divine Power path was Might Guy.
He reached the Sixth Revolution Golden Body, and with the perfected Eight Gates, his combat strength was formidable even among Six Paths-level fighters.
Guy even developed a method to open the Eighth Gate (Death Gate) without dying, though the power boost was weaker than the original suicidal version.
Even so, it was enough for Guy to leap across an entire realm.
Thus, in the future, both Chakra cultivation and Martial Arts Divine Power paths had become complete systems—Very different from the old era, where mastering Chakra and nature transformation merely guaranteed the Jōnin level, and only true geniuses or bloodline prodigies could reach Kage.
In the future Ninja World, everyone dreams of reaching the Six Paths realm.
After all, upon becoming a Six Paths powerhouse—one gains a lifespan of at least a thousand years.
