Chapter 41 - Chapter 41: Uchiha Izumi's Mangekyō Eye!

Hyūga Neji had no idea how the past few days had passed, as Naruto's words kept echoing in his mind.

"Fate is never predetermined... You must believe that man can conquer destiny. My path is mine to walk—heaven cannot decide it for me!"

Neji touched his forehead. Every time he recalled Naruto's words, a strange feeling welled up inside him. That boy… there was a mystery about him, an aura that made people believe in him almost against their will.

For the past few days, Neji had been in a daze. His teachers noticed it, of course, but since Neji was always the top student—his grades flawless—they chose to turn a blind eye.

On Naruto's side, he once again sent a Shadow Clone to meet Shisui. To increase its endurance, Naruto had even modified the clone slightly.

Normally, Shadow Clones disperse when hit, but Naruto had discovered a way for them to replenish each other's chakra. His clones could transfer chakra between one another, greatly extending their lifespan.

Thanks to this, Naruto successfully met Shisui in the Land of Waves.

"Naruto! We may have been discovered. Recently, I've noticed shinobi investigating us," Shisui reported in a low voice.

"Do you know who they are?" Naruto asked.

"If I'm not mistaken, most are from Kirigakure. A few are rogue ninja. I've already dealt with the rogues quietly, but I avoided moving against the Mist shinobi. If we act rashly, we'll expose ourselves."

Naruto nodded. "You handled that perfectly. We can't afford to reveal ourselves yet."

"At most, what they know is that there's some unusual organization behind the Seven Colors Trading Company," Shisui added.

Naruto's expression relaxed slightly. "Good. How's our expansion coming along?"

"Centered on the Land of Fire, we've already spread into all Five Great Nations. We have footholds in every major village!" Shisui said proudly.

This rapid growth came from Naruto's strategy: instead of relying solely on ninja, Shisui recruited ordinary people into the Umbrella Organization. Ordinary citizens could play extraordinary roles, and it kept their activities hidden from shinobi attention. For now, Naruto's primary goal was simple—money.

"Oh, right—what about that machine?" Naruto suddenly asked.

"You mean the tilling machine? It's already in trials. The results are excellent. Its efficiency rivals an Earth Release user at the Genin level—it will revolutionize farming!" Shisui's smile widened.

With the tilling machine, a single farmer could plow multiple acres of land with ease. Combined with their high-yield crops, food shortages were no longer a concern.

As they walked, Naruto and Shisui discussed Umbrella's long-term plans.

Naruto was using a Transformation Jutsu to mask his appearance—he couldn't risk being recognized. Although, in truth, few people would know his face yet.

The Land of Waves was nothing like Naruto remembered. The streets bustled with life, people wore bright smiles, and many greeted Shisui warmly as he passed. Shisui, in turn, always returned their greetings.

The two exchanged a knowing glance and said in unison:

"One day, Umbrella's light will spread across the entire shinobi world."

Naruto fell silent, considering Shisui's earlier warning. Being noticed by the Hidden Mist likely stemmed from their recent large-scale fishing ventures, which had inevitably drawn attention.

The Land of Water, surrounded by ocean, relied heavily on marine resources. It was only natural they would react when outsiders disrupted their trade.

Still… it was frustrating.

Too weak. We're still too weak.

At present, Umbrella could field roughly one Kage-level fighter and three Elite Jōnin: Zabuza Momochi, and the Uchiha instructor Uchiha Yū.

And then there was Uchiha Izumi—whom Naruto had… ahem… "rescued."

Izumi had quickly proven herself extraordinary.

She easily awakened the Three-Tomoe Sharingan, and when she learned of the Uchiha massacre, her grief and disbelief triggered the awakening of the Mangekyō Sharingan on the spot.

Her ability had shocked even Naruto.

The Sharingan is the eye that reflects the heart, and each Mangekyō manifests a unique power born from one's emotions.

Obito, after witnessing Rin's death, awakened Kamui, a space-warping ability that reflected his desire to escape a false reality.

Shisui, desperate to save Konoha and the Uchiha, awakened Kotoamatsukami, the strongest genjutsu that could rewrite minds without their knowledge.

Izumi was no different. Her Mangekyō manifested from her refusal to believe that Itachi had slaughtered their clan. From that disbelief was born her power—an ability to erase any attack or harmful effect directed at her.

On the surface, it didn't sound overwhelming. But in truth, it was terrifying.

She could erase genjutsu.

Erase ninjutsu.

Even erase a Tailed Beast Bomb.

Given enough power, she could even erase an entire mountain.

The more powerful the technique erased, the more chakra it consumed.

In theory, even a Susanoo could be erased—but the chakra cost was astronomical. Fortunately, the ability could not erase living beings; otherwise, it would have been utterly heaven-defying.

This was the ability of Uchiha Izumi's left eye, which she named Void Illusion.

Her right eye possessed an equally terrifying power—total attribute amplification.

The ability was born from her thought at the moment of awakening: If I had enough chakra, if my ninjutsu were stronger, I could have defeated Uchiha Itachi with my own hands.

From that determination, her right eye manifested the power to amplify all of her abilities—strength, speed, chakra reserves, and even perception—by one to five times.

The cost, however, was her ocular power and an immense drain on chakra.

When Naruto first witnessed this ability, even he couldn't help but marvel. A good girl… turning herself into a true warrior.

The more he thought about it, the more envious he became.

Full attribute amplification!

If Izumi boosted herself fivefold while already at the Kage level, she could reach the peak of the Five Kage. If she pushed herself at the peak of that level, she might even step into the realm of a Super Kage.

Simply put—this ability only grew more monstrous the stronger its wielder became.

Before awakening her Mangekyō, Izumi's strength had been around that of an Elite Chūnin. But the moment her eyes evolved, her chakra surged, and her power skyrocketed to the quasi-Kage level.

Her only limitation was experience. Izumi had little combat foundation, knowing only a handful of ninjutsu and a couple of genjutsu. Her previous strength came almost entirely from the Three-Tomoe Sharingan.

Within the Uchiha clan, most who awakened the Three-Tomoe were already Jōnin-level fighters. Yet Izumi, born into a peripheral branch family, had quietly awakened hers without anyone in the main clan even realizing it.

Now, after gaining access to Naruto's vast library of ninjutsu, her growth was astonishing. It was only a matter of time before she broke into the full Kage tier.

And when that happened, the Umbrella Organization would field two Kage-level shinobi and two Elite Jōnin, alongside a wielder of Ice Release. In the near future, with talents like Naruto, Sasuke, Neji, and Rock Lee still rising, Umbrella's strength would be nothing short of formidable.
