After the twentieth pull, I didn't do more pulls instantly. Instead, I spent some time collecting my thoughts and arranging my inventory before walking near the window and sitting beside it. The rays of the moon gently fell on me, like a gentle sheet as I stared at the night sky in silence.
The absurdity of the fact that I was transmigrated still hasn't fully set in. Here I was, sitting in some medieval-style room in a world where people could split mountains with their bare hands, and I was pulling abilities from a cosmic slot machine. If someone had told me this would be my life a few days ago, I would've recommended therapy.
Time passed slowly, and after my thoughts had calmed down, I returned my attention back to the Gacha. So far, I've already used 60 gacha points for 20-pulls, leaving me with only 40 gacha points remaining. This was it—my last chance to pull something immediately useful.
If I don't get a solution to my current problem in this pull, I can only move to plan B. Though that would take considerably longer to realize, I at least have another solution at my disposal. What was plan B? It was me abusing Sage and Six Eyes to read all the books within the Holy Orchid Institute and Sacred Family library before deriving a better cultivation technique for myself. It was a long term solution, and definitely not something that could be accomplished in a day or two.
After all, even with x1000 processing speed, the Holy Orchid Institute alone was said to contain hundreds of thousands of books. It would take me months to fully read and analyze each one of them even with my enhanced capabilities. The Sacred Family library would add even more time to that already daunting timeline.

"This is it!" I exclaimed excitedly, nearly jumping out of my seat. Good thing I'm in my own courtyard and no matter how loud I shout, my voice would never reach someone else's ears. Well, unless there's some hidden shadow lurking somewhere. I hope there isn't. I would look acoustic otherwise.
Shaking my head to refocus, I put my attention on the new pull as the information about it appears within my mind in an instant. And as I've suspected, it does exactly what I hoped it would!
What were Profound Veins? Those were the essential 'organs' one needed in Against the Gods to cultivate within that world's power system. Every person within that universe was born with a set of such veins running through their body. Without these veins, it was completely impossible to cultivate in that world—they were as fundamental as having a heart or lungs.
Like how Yun Che was born with damaged veins, rendering him a useless cripple until his plot armor kicked in.
The point was, with these veins, I could also cultivate the Profound Way like people in Against the Gods! No Profound Energy in this world? That wasn't an issue at all. Because any item that came from the Gacha could be used in any world—that was one of the system's fundamental rules. So while I don't know exactly how they would work in the absence of natural Profound Energy, all I know is that they would work. And that's all I need to know.
I rubbed my chin with a satisfied smile spreading across my face.
"The only downfall is that I would lose the ability to cultivate this world's power system, but is that really a downfall?" The answer was crystal clear, absolutely not. Against the Gods had far higher power levels, and that was an undeniable fact. The only genuinely good thing about the cultivation system of this world was that practitioners could directly cultivate laws, but even if my cultivation system completely changed, what was stopping me from doing the same thing? Weren't Laws just a bunch of inscription patterns in this world anyway? As long as my knowledge of inscriptions was sufficiently high and I retained the ability to sense them, I should be able to manipulate these so-called Laws with no real issues.
Adding to that advantage was the fact that I wouldn't need a specific cultivation technique, like one would absolutely require in this world to cultivate properly. For practicing the Against the Gods power system, the process was refreshingly straightforward. As long as I could compress the energy within my veins enough times through dedicated training, I could advance to the next realm with no major problems. It was simple and efficient compared to the complex requirements here. There was no heart demon tribulation or profound dao comprehension needed, just sufficient time, talent, and dedication. Theoretically, anyone could reach Divine Master level with enough persistence.
With all that said, I still don't integrate it just yet. Let's wait until I pull all the cards from this ten-pull session before integrating anything.
4-Star - Unholy Flames (Active Ability)
"Another flame-related ability? Is the Gacha trying to tell me something at this point or what?" As I say that, the information regarding the ability appears within my mind. As the name suggests, the flames were… unholy in nature. The description given by the Gacha was frustratingly vague and it basically went like: Flames of Hell, these flames are so incredibly powerful and potent that even the user is not completely immune to them, causing them to suffer burns from overuse. In addition, these flames deal severe damage to any Holy and Light-based beings.
Without actually trying them out, I have absolutely no idea what "incredibly powerful and potent" even means. Like, are they stronger than Golden Crow flames? If so, by how much? What's the practical difference in destructive capability?
"It's disappointing that there's no specific origin added to them except for the vague fact that they belong to Hell… Which mythology's hell are we talking about here? Greek? Christian? Buddhist?" Either way, they sound powerful enough so I'll learn them anyway.
3-Star - Parallel Calculations (Tensura)
Parallel Calculations? Hmm, definitely a useful skill for someone in my situation. Though I can only create one additional thought process running simultaneously, it still gives me a significant edge over everyone else in terms of multitasking and information processing. So that's undeniably good.
2-Star - 50kg of Magic Crystals
"Oh, a surprisingly good 2-Star pull! Since everything is automatically adjusted to the world I'm currently in, that means I can absorb the energy contained within these magic crystals to dramatically increase my cultivation speed." Though I don't know exactly how much cultivation enhancement 50 kilograms of magic crystals can provide, it shouldn't be a negligible amount, right?
4-Star - Familiar: Terminus Est (Bladedance of Elementalist)
"Ohh, the silver-haired sword spirit that I'm definitely not going to do anything questionable with after summoning her." Horniness aside, she's genuinely a powerful weapon. She was considered one of the strongest elemental spirits in her original world. Even though she could only access approximately 1/10th of her true powers when summoned, she was still classified among the highest-tier spirits available. While my Gravity Sword was undeniably good, it couldn't realistically be compared with Terminus Est, who could transform into a cute little girl that makes me feel funny in weird ways… Hmm, maybe I'm being too honest with myself here.
4-Star - Trait: Magician
"A trait?" I raised an eyebrow in surprise. "Est was already an unexpected surprise. I guess the Gacha system isn't strictly limited to just items and abilities after all."
The trait was elegantly simple in its description—it made me a natural genius when it came to understanding and manipulating magic. But there wasn't any traditional magic system in this world, so it was somewhat useless for now. Maybe it would prove valuable later.
2-Star - Magical Chainsaw Wand (Is This a Zombie?)
Absolute trash. I'm definitely not into that kind of ridiculous thing.
2-Star - Item: Silver Heart Ticket
"..." As the information appears within my mind, I'm left slightly speechless by what I'm reading. This item… once used while thinking about the specific person I want to affect, it makes them like me more. Something about increasing their favorability rating towards me by a modest margin. Not exactly something groundbreaking or game-changing, but not a completely terrible item either. Though I'd honestly prefer something that would make them completely infatuated with me, but oh well. Beggars can't be choosers.
3-Star - Compass (Pirates of the Caribbean)
Ohhh, a really nice one came out! If I remember correctly from the movies, it doesn't point towards the traditional four cardinal directions—instead, it points directly towards whatever item or place I most desire to find. A genuinely useful item, especially when I have extensive meta-knowledge but almost zero practical understanding of the actual geography of this world. Novels like these always tend to ignore those important little details, but with this Compass, as long as I know something exists somewhere, it should be theoretically possible to reach it.
Though I seriously doubt if it works beyond dimensional boundaries, like reaching the higher worlds. Probably not, right?

"Uoh…" Even though I cannot see my own expression right now, I'm absolutely certain there's a knowing smirk plastered across my face. Becoming stronger on one side, being horny on the other. A perfect balance of priorities. That's exactly how one should live their life!
And this particular skill was absolutely perfect for the horny side of that delicate balance. Didn't Xiao Ning'er need regular massages to heal her illness? I guess I can offer to help her now… Damn, I'm a total piece of shit. Oh well, it's not like I've ever denied that fact about myself lol.
