The boy floating in the center of it all.

Mal looked closer.
It was astraeus.

Word spread.
The suran king learned his son was alive.
He sent a hundred Lava Soldiers to retrieve him
Mai stood between them and Astraeus.
"You will not take him."
"Out of my way, flame priestess," barked the general.
"Try me," Mai said, igniting the Eternal flame staff.
The fight lasted 3 hours.
None of the soldiers left alive.

The suran clan declared war on the pure flame.
They saw Astraeus as a stolen heir, corrupted by ancient flame.
But when they attacked again, Astraeus stood before the temple gates.
"I was born of both flames," he roared, his aura erupting into a burning star.
"I will not bow to suran… or anyone."
The Sky trembled.
And the world watched.
Across the great houses and clans around the land, whispers spread:
"The true heir has awakened."
"A boy born of two flames."
"The Eternal flame burns again."
Old Hashi kuru warriors came out of hiding.
Some from the secret bunkers that were made for them. Some from spirit planes.
They came to stand beside Astraeus and Mai.
The Original flame clan was being reborn.
