Chapter 397 - DB-VFRBIV Chapter 391...

The vast training ground was silent and empty, as if time itself had stopped for the master and student.

Hit stood tall in front of Trunks, his gaze calm and focused.

"Concentrate. Clear your mind of every stray thought and forget everything around you." His deep voice carried steadily across the training ground, each word sinking into Trunks's mind.

"Right now, you are the center of this entire space. Nothing else matters."

Hit continued in the same unwavering tone. "Forget everything in existence and immerse yourself completely. Because you yourself are everything."

Once Hit finished speaking, the silence around them seemed to deepen.

Trunks took a slow breath and closed his eyes, doing his best to follow Hit's instructions. His brow tightened slightly. Clearing his mind sounded simple, but actually doing it was another matter. Still, under Hit's guidance, the noise in his thoughts gradually began to fade.

His teacher's words repeated themselves over and over in his mind. For some reason, Trunks suddenly realized that what Hit was teaching him sounded strangely similar to the idealist philosophy he had encountered in his previous life.

Concepts that had once seemed abstract and difficult now fit perfectly with what he was trying to accomplish.

Slowly, he calmed himself and repeated the thought in his mind: "The world is my mind, and my mind is the universe."

The moment he settled on those words, something seemed to click. His remaining doubts and distractions disappeared, and an indescribable sensation enveloped his consciousness, drawing him deeper into an entirely different mental state.

Trunks's body trembled faintly. He could suddenly feel a connection between himself and the space around him, unlike anything he had experienced before. It was almost as though he truly had become the center of this world, with existence and nothingness alike revolving around him.

The familiar training ground vanished. His scattered thoughts disappeared, and even his memories gradually faded away like smoke.

All that remained was darkness, an endless, bottomless darkness without boundaries or direction. Within it lay an absolute void, so deep it felt capable of swallowing even his soul.

Then, in the middle of that endless darkness, a tiny point of light appeared. It was incredibly faint, yet in that pitch-black world, it stood out with startling clarity.

At first, it resembled a distant star… small, dim, almost insignificant against the vast emptiness. But unlike a star fixed in place, this light moved. Like a tiny spark carried by the wind, it wandered freely through the darkness without any obvious destination. Sometimes it drifted toward the void, as though about to merge with it; other times it pulled away again, resisting the darkness around it.

The spark was tiny, but in this endless blackness, it was impossible to ignore. It was the only light that existed.

Trunks remained immersed in his inner world, repeating the same thought again and again.

"The world is my mind, and my mind is the universe."

Each repetition made him feel as though he were moving one step closer to something just beyond his reach. Under that relentless focus, a change finally occurred.

The tiny light, the manifestation of his own consciousness, suddenly began to expand. It grew brighter and brighter, swelling with astonishing speed. Like the rising sun breaking through the night, its radiance spread across the darkness until the entire inner world was flooded with light.

The God Ki that had been lying dormant inside Trunks suddenly began to stir, as though answering some ancient call. It surged through his body, flowing and gathering before gradually taking shape in a strange new form.

Time passed slowly.

Trunks remained seated cross-legged with his eyes shut, completely motionless. Sweat beaded across his face, his brow tightening and relaxing as he struggled through the process. No one knew how long it lasted. It could have been an instant, or it could have felt like a century.

Then, inside the sealed Space Prison, something new suddenly appeared.

A massive square structure materialized out of thin air, its sudden arrival shattering the stillness of the surrounding space.

Super Perfect Cell stared at it, his eyes going wide in disbelief. His jaw dropped, and he was just about to shout when a huge hand clamped over his mouth. His vision briefly went dark as the hand covered both his mouth and nose.

Super Perfect Cell immediately struggled and twisted around, furious to see who had dared silence him. When he finally saw the culprit, he froze.

It was Leterses.

Leterses looked unusually serious. He raised an index finger to his lips and gave Super Perfect Cell a quiet shushing gesture. Super Perfect Cell stared back in confusion.

Before he could figure out what was going on, another figure silently appeared beside them. It was Hit.

Hit bent slightly and crept over, lowering his voice until only the three of them could hear. "Neither of you make a sound. Whatever you do, don't disturb him."

Hit glanced toward Trunks, unable to hide his surprise. "This is far beyond what I expected. I never thought he'd grasp the basics this quickly. If we interrupt him now and ruin everything, it'll all be for nothing."

Super Perfect Cell's suspicious gaze immediately shifted back to Leterses. Hit acting like this made sense, but why did Leterses look even more anxious than Hit? Super Perfect Cell couldn't make sense of it at all.

Then something even more unexpected happened.

The mysterious structure Trunks had created suddenly expanded several times over. With Trunks at its center, it spread outward at astonishing speed, swallowing the surrounding space like a rising tide.

In the blink of an eye, it reached the three spectators. The instant Super Perfect Cell's body touched the outer wall of the structure, an indescribable chill swept through him, making him shudder.

"Don't panic. You'll be fine," Hit quickly reassured him.

As the seconds passed, the Space Prison Hit had created began to disappear beneath Trunks's expanding structure. Little by little, the new space completely overwhelmed it until Hit's Space Prison was fully replaced.

And yet, Trunks showed no sign of stopping.

The enormous square structure continued to grow, expanding farther and farther as though there were no limit to how much space it could claim. Soon, the entire Space Prison had been absorbed into it.

A satisfied smile finally appeared on Hit's face. "I knew it. He'd be able to do it faster, and better."

But the moment the words left his mouth, Hit's expression changed again. His eyes locked onto Trunks, and he took a step back.

"What...?" Hit stared in disbelief. "He actually..."
