"Well then, goodbye, Mom! "And goodbye to Sister Mai and Sister Videl of this world too!"

Bulla let go of Future Bulma's hand and waved goodbye to the others.

"Mhm! Goodbye, Bulla!" Videl waved back with a gentle smile. Her gaze then fell on Gohan and Goten.

"Goodbye, Gohan-kun!"

Her voice trembled slightly; she was clearly reluctant to part ways with them.

Though Gohanks was a brand-new being, the two who had fused to create him were both well-mannered.

Gohan simply smiled politely and replied: "Mhm."

"All right, Bulla, let's go." Gogeta urged her.

"Okay! I'm coming!" Bulla leapt high and jumped straight into the time machine.

In an instant, the cabin became crowded.

"Ehh, it's so cramped! Gohan Nii, move over a bit!"

"There's no helping it, Bulla. The time machine is only so big."

"Just bear with it. It'll be over soon."

With that, Gohanks began operating the time machine.

Everything was ready. The engine roared and the time machine lifted off into the sky.

In the next moment, it vanished without a trace.

Future Bulma looked up at the empty sky while recalling Trunks's words to her just moments before. A faint smile flickered across her face. No matter what, she had to test this method.

"What are you thinking about, Bulma Oba San?" Videl's voice pulled her from her thoughts.

"You're not thinking about Vegeta Oji San, are you?"

Future Bulma shook her head and explained, "No, nothing like that. I was thinking of something far more interesting."

"But it seems like you're still holding onto some feelings for Gohan, don't you?"

"Let me remind you: Don't get any ideas. In his timeline, there's already a version of you. You heard it yourself; he even has a child."

"He's not your Gohan." Future Bulma teased.

Videl, though, was clearheaded. Even if she had once let her thoughts wander, it had only been fleeting. Now, she saw Gohan only as a friend.

Her own Gohan had died long ago.

"I know, Bulma Oba San, I wasn't overthinking it. But what was that interesting thing you mentioned?" Videl asked curiously, a hint of anticipation in her eyes.

Future Bulma's expression suddenly shifted. She turned her back and walked away, speaking mysteriously.

"Do you want to bring your Gohan back to life?"

The words immediately sent a jolt through Videl. She quickly caught up, her voice trembling with excitement.

"Bulma Oba San! What did you just say? Did I hear you right?!

"Mhm, you heard correctly. Not only Gohan, but everyone... There's a chance they can all be revived!"

Upon hearing this, Mai was also drawn in, hurrying forward to press for answers.

"Oh, right, Mai. Actually, I can modify you into an Android," Future Bulma added casually.

Mai was stunned and overjoyed. She had long wished to fight alongside Videl.

"Really?! Leader?"

Future Bulma nodded in confirmation. "Mhm."

Under the moonlight, the three women walked together, discussing matters of great importance.

...

Meanwhile, in another place, another timeline was undergoing a tragedy nearly identical to this one.

Only, that timeline was far more hopeless:

The Dragon Ball world.

A certain parallel timeline.

This was Earth.

But this was an Earth drowned in rivers of blood. A man collapsed to his knees, clearly at his limit.

A figure dressed in black stood before him.

"Heh... pitiful human. You look far too much like Son Goku."

The speaker was none other than Goku Black. But this one belonged to another parallel timeline. At his side stood another figure with green skin.

It was Zamasu.

"Come on, stand up! You're the son of Son Goku! Why won't you stand?! Are you a coward?!" Goku Black's words cut into the man's heart like needles, each one sharper than the last.

The man was none other than Son Goten, Goku's second son.

Goten slowly forced himself upright and glanced around.

Rivers of blood flowed and corpses covered the land. He could sense it; there was no other life left here. His frantic eyes searched for something, someone while panic trembled in his voice.

"Krillin Oji San! Krillin Oji San!"

Moments earlier, he recalled, Krillin had stood alone, fighting to protect Bulma, Chi-Chi, and himself during their retreat.

Goten's gaze swept across body after body.

At last, it landed on a bald corpse.

That man was Krillin. Beside him lay the lifeless bodies of Chi-Chi and Bulma. Goten's body trembled violently upon seeing this scene. His mind went blank.

Memories surged back all at once.

In this world...

He had been born a posthumous child. By the time he was born, the skies had already fallen. His brother, his father, and every other warrior were gone from the world of the living.

The culprit behind it all was Cell.

They all perished during the Cell Games.

Krillin, who was too weak to catch Cell's attention, had been spared. After killing Goku and the others, Cell left for the universe in search of worthy opponents. But before leaving, he made a cruel promise: "When I return, Earth will be destroyed."

For Earth's sake, Krillin took on the responsibility of ensuring its survival. He had Bulma turn him into an android and took Goten, Goku's unborn child, under his wing to train.

Uncle and nephew endured countless hardships, growing stronger step by step.

At last, they defeated Cell.

They thought peace had finally returned. But today, they faced a new devil.

Goten had learned from Krillin's own mouth: 'This man looked exactly like his dead father.'

He looked exactly like him...and like Goten himself.

Goten couldn't understand.

Why had his deceased father suddenly returned? Worse yet, why had he become a merciless killer?

Why had he slaughtered his mother? His Krillin Oji-san? And Bulma, his grandmother?

"Why?! Why is this happening?! Who are you?!"

Goten couldn't make sense of it.

His uncle's stories of a noble, all-powerful father… replaced by this monster who killed without hesitation.

"Who am I? Heh… of course, I'm your beloved father." Goku Black whispered.

"No! You're lying!" Goten clutched his head in agony, his heart tearing apart.

Goku Black smirked wickedly, stepping closer and closer.

But just then, a strange sound tore through the sky.

A fissure split open above, halting Goku Black's steps. He raised his gaze upward.
