Chapter 90 - Chapter 90: Meteor Spear — Gungnir!

Surging magic rose into the sky. Provoked by Giada's subordinates, Vatler finally moved.

Magic erupted from him like a tide, warping the air around him like a mirage.

A faint serpentine silhouette appeared behind him.

"Ladies, although my father indeed entrusted me with these three vassals, if you think such methods will make me hand them over, you are dreaming. Even if the Third Primogenitor herself wants them, she must take them by force."

As he spoke, overwhelming pressure crushed toward the three women.

Vatler was a battle fanatic who fought at full strength against anyone.

Even if his opponent was a woman, he would abandon elegance for pure combat.

The three women's faces changed. Their familiars emerged, transforming into weapons in their hands.

Vampires of the Chaos Zone were capable of materializing their familiars into living weapons—like this.

But this fight was not theirs to interrupt.

"Heaven's Punishment: Star of David!"

As always, the sacred spear's probing strike came first. Crimson radiance shot across space like a meteor toward Vatler.

Seeing this, Vatler's expression twisted into a feral grin.

Without hesitation, he summoned his familiar.

"Sagara!"

A massive sea serpent over ten meters long appeared—almost like a dragon.

Vatler's familiars were modeled after the Eight Great Dragon Kings of Buddhist lore.

This serpent controlled water pressure. Its body was composed of ultra-compressed water capable of exerting tens of thousands of atmospheres, able to boil a human body instantly.

The monstrous serpent roared and unleashed crushing pressure toward the incoming meteor.

But the meteor did not slow in the slightest and slammed into the serpent.

Explosions of magic radiated in all directions. Waves surged violently, pounding the shore. Sea God's Tomb rocked like a leaf in a storm.

After the pressure dissipated, Vatler's familiar vanished, and the meteor had been fully blocked. Yet Vatler showed no surprise.

Their attacks were both merely warm-ups.

As the waves settled, two figures appeared before Vatler.

Seeing the taller young woman beside the little girl, the female vampires on deck instantly panicked and bowed, anxiety written on their faces.

They knew they had disobeyed orders.

"Your Majesty!"

"I never told you to provoke Dimitrie. You know the consequences for disobeying me."

"Yes…"

Their heads lowered even further.

Remilia shrugged, trying to pat Giada's shoulder—only to realize she wasn't tall enough. After hesitating, she floated upward, and once she stood taller than Giada, she nodded in satisfaction before patting her.

"Next is my game. If you want to punish them or whatever, do it later. I'll handle the remaining three vassals myself. And don't forget our deal—if I win alone, you'll personally fetch the last two for me."

Remilia wasn't a battle maniac. She had no issue taking shortcuts.

Before coming, she and Giada had made a bet. If Remilia won one-on-one, Giada would bring her the remaining two vassals. Giada didn't mind, since Remilia wagered half of her remaining crystal.

Even though both had contracts with Ren, Giada couldn't help feeling jealous—after all, Remilia's benefits were better. So she agreed readily.

"You really…"

Seeing Remilia care so much about height, Giada could only smile helplessly.

Honestly, neither Remilia nor Flandre had the aura of true rulers of an Empire. Remilia was better—her experience as the mistress of the Scarlet Devil Mansion helped—but she was still far too childish.

Like now.

She insisted on flying a little higher just to look down on Giada.

"The Third Primogenitors coming in person for the Blazing Banquet… if my father knew this, he'd regret not coming."

"Dimitrie, your opponent is not me. Fight this future Fourth Primogenitor. The one who will take the beast vassals from you is her, not me."

With a grin, Giada vanished with her followers, appearing instantly on the shore.

Vatler's gaze locked onto Remilia. The magic within her immediately drew his attention—because…

She carried the presence of a Primogenitor.

An incomplete one, but still.

After all, Remilia had absorbed only a portion of the Primogenitor Bloodline crystal and had not completed her awakening.

"So that's how it is. It seems something interesting happened at the awakening of the Fourth Primogenitor…"

Dozens of familiars manifested around Vatler.

"Then as you wish—let's have some fun."

Sagara, Utopalaka, Manasvin, Upananda, Nanda…

Summoning so many familiars at once—Vatler truly lived up to being the vampire closest to a Primogenitor.

Even Remilia had never seen anyone summon so many at once.

Such summoning required not only power but the ability to control all familiars simultaneously.

Zaharias failed for this reason—he couldn't bring out the full power of No. 1, which was why Flandre crushed him instantly.

Seeing the overwhelming power before her, Remilia's face lit up with excitement.

After her recent power-up, she had been eager to test her new strength.

And now—she could finally begin to control that weapon.

Raising her right hand high, fresh blood suddenly burst out, merging into the crimson aurora in her grasp.

In an instant, that crimson aurora began to transform.

The scarlet glow slowly dissolved into scattered photons, and what replaced it in Remilia's hand was a genuine long spear.

The spear was seven to eight meters long, and on both sides of its tip were curved half-moon blood grooves.

This was not the imitation weapon Remilia usually produced, but the genuine weapon from Norse mythology—Odin's spear.

Divine Spear, Gungnir!
