Although this was their first meeting, Serafall showed no restraint whatsoever.
Actually, it was more accurate to say that she came with the intention of making friends.
So upon seeing Ren, she smiled brightly and made a tilted V-sign with her fingers.
One had to admit, such a casual approach at a first meeting did feel a bit frivolous.
As for being called "Ren-chan," Ren didn't really mind. Devils were long-lived beings after all—who knew how old Serafall really was?

Ren turned toward the angel known as Lucemon with a stunned expression. Was it just his imagination, or did he actually see a faint blush on Lucemon's face?

Noticing Ren's gaze, Lucemon glared sharply at him.
"Ahem... what are you thinking, Ren?!"
"Luce-chan?"

"Is that all you know how to say!?"
Unable to bear Ren's ever-growing smirk, Lucemon looked like she wanted to smash his face in with a divine cross. Was this man incapable of saying anything else!?
"Hello, Luce-chan…"

Lucemon clutched her forehead in frustration. Even the might of her primordial power could no longer suppress her rage.
"Pffft—"
Suddenly, Kuroka and Fou couldn't hold it in and let out a loud snort of laughter.
Lucemon's glare shot toward them instantly, making both of them look away in panic.
Sorry! We've had formal training. No matter how funny something is, we absolutely won't laugh—unless...

Without another word, Lucemon grabbed the Nekomata, Kuroka, from Ren's arms with a blank expression.
"Sorry, Master, but I think this little cat's strength is too weak and unworthy of you. I'll use my Great Cross to properly train her until she can kick it across the sky."
Kuroka: "!!!"
Kick a planetary-sized cross into space!? Why not just launch me to the moon!?
And why punish me when that stupid Fou laughed too!? Talk about unfair!
Besides, I wasn't the one who kept calling you Luce-chan—go deal with the real culprit!
Can't beat him, so you pick on me, the small, pitiful, and helpless cat? You cowardly (fallen) angel!
Immediately, Kuroka began struggling frantically, her teary eyes locking on Ren with a desperate plea.
"Meow meow meow meow meow~~~~~ (Save me, Master!)"
Ren opened his mouth to speak, but before he could say a word, Lucemon shoved Serafall in front of him.
"You two enjoy your conversation!"
Then, without giving Ren a chance to respond, Lucemon turned into a stream of radiant light and shot out of the building.
There wasn't enough space here—she was going to train the little cat properly outside.

Sona and Tsubaki: "…"
Thankfully, kind-hearted Asia had seen everything and couldn't help asking,
"Will Miss Kuroka be alright?"
Kuroka!? Serafall's expression shifted slightly. No wonder that cat looked somewhat familiar.
Could that little kitten possibly be the older sister of Rias‑chan's perrage member?
Serafall was aware of Kuroka's story—after all, she was also one of the devils' rulers from the Underworld.

Catching Serafall's gaze, Ren couldn't help smirking.
Right now there wasn't many, but if more pets join later, he wouldn't want them all staying here over and over.
Though Ren has gained much power, he had no experience in creating an alternate world. His current sources of power are Fou, Kuroka, Examon, Raynare, and Lucemon.
None of those five have creation-based abilities.
If Lucemon X existed, Ren could likely do such a thing easily. In Light Beast X's lore, there's an ability: ultimate wisdom and power allowing her to reshape all existence, embodying destruction and creation over the digital world.
Too bad, from afar she looks cool, but up close she's just a gold‑plated fallen angel. At best with a halo.
"Miss Serafall, you coming here… was there something you needed? Did Lucemon cause trouble in the Underworld again?"
"Not really trouble. She was just visiting us in the Underworld as a guest."
"Oh? She didn't beat up Lucifer, the Satan of your realm, and then threaten to go to Heaven next? She didn't say that?"

Looking at Ren's teasing smile, she went silent.
