Alfa was in his office, phone in hand, and his expression was hard. Michelle had agreed to meet, and he was waiting for her to message him the time and place.
The faster he can meet her, the more relax he will feel, as he could discourage her from going to that damn library. How on earth did she get to know about the house of books anyway?
That library holds secrets about every pack to have ever existed, and if she were to find out where she came from, he's dead.
"Someone looks really worked up!" Ronald commented, standing at the doorway.
"What do you want, Ronald?" Alfa asked, without looking up.
"I want my best friend back!"
Alfa looked at the short man standing at the door of his office. His grey eyes looked at his alphas blue orbs with worry.
"A lot is going on right now, Ron. I don't know what to do or how to carry on with all this weight on my shoulders," Alfa said, as Ronald walked in and sat on the chair opposite him.
