Arya sat at the breakfast table with everyone else, waiting for their alpha to come down. Everyone was chatting and laughing, occasionally looking over towards the stairs.
Some of them, who knew that Arya had gone to pick Michelle up in the pouring rain, gave her sideways glances, which didn't really bother her, since she had asked Rodriguez before borrowing his old car.
Soon, the scent of the Alpha spread through the room, and along with his scent came Michelle's. The entire table became silent, and they all stood up, lowering their heads in respect, but everyone had one question: What was the traitor doing with him?
Arya noticed that Michelle still looked like a train wreck, and her eyes stared at the floor. But there was something mysterious about her that she couldn't quite put her finger on. Something about her seemed different.
