"What was Aria talking about?" The question popped up as soon as Alfa stepped out of his car.
"Not now, dad!"
"Alfa, I didn't raise you to keep secrets from me!"
"Secrets? Since we're talking secrets, why don't you explain what the heck you were doing at the gate of rogue pack territory? Why didn't you tell me you were going there?"
"You will not raise your voice in front of me," Kane's voice rose, and Alfa wasn't planning on calming down.
"I'm not a pup anymore, dad! You didn't tell me you were going there, and you embarrassed me in front of them!" He screamed.
"Please, everyone, calm down!" Genevieve said loudly. "You're fighting like little pups."
The frustration in her voice was high, but the father and son duo had other plans.
"Gene, this is between me and my son!" Kane blurted out.
"No. I'm leaving, and I do not want to talk about it," Alfa said, turning to leave.
