Nick was currently walking down the streets of Honeyville.. they had appeared in a rural area inside chester county in this world afterall. It was the middle of the night and it was quite dark.. but that didn't matter to Nick, it was one of his abilities with the sleepless potion.. it was nightvision and an allround boost in physical capabilites in the dark.
'Theres nothing interesting going on.. well it is my first day on the job.. and yet Kevin had his finger cut off and got a sealed artifact or something to replace it.'
That last statement was aimed at the gray fog... it seemed to be a way for long distance mental communications.
'Don't be jealous idiot... i had to lose a finger and almost lose control you know?!'
'Well.. the after effects of your little... deadly acrobatic shall we say, is bound to wear off now that we know the acting method'
The voices of Kevin and Zack resounded in his mind.
The acting method was a method to help making advancement easier for beyonders.. it was very vague and depended on 'acting' according to the potion name.. which was partly the reason why Nick took up this night patrol, as a Sleepless he didn't have to rest long.. a minimum of two hours was enough...
However, just as he was going over the abilities and all minute changes in his body.. he saw someone force a lady into a narrow corridor through the corner of his eye.
He pondered for a moment and then spoke, his voice a whisper..
"Seems like excitement came my way afterall"
