After Tony's research on the new element was successful, Ron walked up to him and congratulated him.
"Congratulations, Tony, you've created a brand new element. Its appearance will surely advance Earth's technology by a huge step."
"Of course." Tony smiled contentedly, "I thought creating a new element would be difficult, but I didn't expect it to be so simple. I wasted all that emotion before..."
"Hehe..." Ron didn't comment on Tony's arrogance, because for someone with real ability, arrogance is understandable.
Because it's not arrogance, it's confidence!
Thinking this, Ron remembered that the new element Tony had researched probably didn't have a name yet, so he asked,
"By the way, Tony, has your dad named this new element yet? What is it called? It can't just be called 'new element,' can it?"
Tony paused slightly, "It really doesn't have a name yet. It's just called 'new element.'"
"Then why don't you give it one? It can't just be called 'new element,' can it?" Ron said, pointing at the triangular new element.
"That's true, it can't just be called 'new element.' I should give it a new name." Tony nodded, thought for a moment, and then said, "Hmm... it's just a name, no need to overthink it. Since it was researched by our Stark family, let's call it the Stark Element."
"Oh, is that so..." Ron's expression was mocking, and he let out a long "oh" without saying anything further.
People who achieve something often like to name their discoveries after themselves, to pass on their names, like Joule for heat, Volt for voltage, and so on.
Although Tony usually appeared arrogant and disdainful of ordinary things, naming a newly discovered element was quite tempting for him, so naming the new element "Stark" was not surprising.
After naming it, Tony placed the Stark Element onto the Arc Reactor carrier he had already prepared, allowing the Arc Reactor to receive the energy of the Stark Element and create a brand new third-generation Arc Reactor.
Looking at the new third-generation Arc Reactor, Tony felt an urge to directly remove the old palladium-core Arc Reactor from his chest and install the new one, to see if the Stark Element could truly replace palladium and have no side effects.
"Sir, I will conduct tests after the Arc Reactor receives the new core energy. Once the tests are successful, you will have a brand new Arc Reactor."
Jarvis's voice rang out, promptly informing Tony that although the Arc Reactor was successful, it still needed to be tested before it could be used.
"Of course, for Pepper, I won't act rashly." Tony nodded. He had only felt a momentary impulse and hadn't truly intended to proceed with the test.
"Understood, sir." Jarvis controlled a robotic arm that extended to take the Arc Reactor from Tony's hand for testing.
Just then, the villa's landline phone suddenly rang. Jarvis's robotic arm paused, and then he said, "Sir, a suspicious call has come in. Would you like to answer it?"
"Suspicious call?" Tony frowned, "Answer it. I want to see which guy is harassing me."
"Tony Stark, it's been a while. Have you solved your palladium problem, haha..."
After the call connected, a hoarse voice came through. Tony immediately recognized who it was: Ivan Vanko, the madman who had attacked him in Monaco last time.
Ivan on the other end of the line seemed very pleased. Without waiting for Tony to reply, he continued,
"Your suggestion last time was excellent. You told me to double the rotational speed and generate more energy. Now my reactor is several times more powerful than before. The history of your Stark family will be rewritten by me. The hatred your father brought to our family over forty years, I will repay to you in forty minutes..."
Tony's expression turned grim. He muted the phone and then instructed Jarvis, "Jarvis, trace this call. I need to know where this guy is!"
Upon receiving Tony's command, Jarvis immediately began the search.
"Entering Oracle Phone Network Company, beginning search. Call origin is on the East Coast of the United States, near the Manhattan borough of New York... Oh no, tracking failed, sir."
"Jarvis, your tracking failed? This madman has quite the talent. But what exactly does this madman want to do?"
Hearing that the tracking failed, Tony frowned tightly, beginning to ponder what Ivan Vanko intended to do.
At this moment, Jessica, who was nearby, suddenly leaned in and said, "I interviewed Justin Hammer this morning. He said he found a genius who is no less talented than you. With this genius, Hammer Industries' mechanical soldier armor has made significant progress. They're holding an exhibition tonight at 7 PM in Manhattan to unveil the mechanical soldier armor. Mr. Stark, I wonder if this has anything to do with it?"
"It's certainly possible." Tony thought for a moment and nodded in reply.
Tony knew Justin Hammer and his Hammer Industries. Aside from owning Hammer Industries, Hammer had no technological talent whatsoever; he was just a reasonably competent businessman.
As for the so-called mechanical soldier armor, Tony had seen the newspapers and knew it was just a knockoff Hammer had made, imitating his own Iron Man armor. Without a core energy source, Hammer Industries would absolutely not be able to claim that the mechanical soldier armor had been successfully developed.
Unless... Hammer had found Ivan Vanko, who could also build an Arc Reactor, and had the madman Ivan Vanko work for him, thus creating successful mechanical soldier armor.
And now it was almost evening. Remembering Ivan Vanko's words about revenge just now, Tony didn't hesitate. He directly removed the Arc Reactor from his chest, inserted the new third-generation Arc Reactor, and prepared to go directly to Justin Hammer to get to the bottom of it.
As soon as the new Arc Reactor was installed, Tony felt as if his poisoned body had been given a powerful stimulant, instantly filling him with strength. It even seemed as though his physical fitness had improved significantly, making him so comfortable that Tony cried out aloud.
Seeing this, Ron, who was nearby, quietly pulled Jessica back, moving a little further away from the abnormal Tony Stark.
Seeing Ron and Jessica backing away, Tony quickly suppressed his cries. To cover his embarrassment, he said,
"Hey, Ron, I'm about to go deal with a madman. You two aren't part of the Guardians Alliance, do you want to come with me?"
Ron didn't refuse, saying, "Alright, but since you're in such a hurry, go ahead in your Iron Man armor. We'll drive over later."
"Alright, I'll go first then. Jarvis, bring me the Iron Man armor. I need to hurry."
"Yes, sir."
A moment later, a red robot flew out from the villa's basement and headed towards Justin Hammer's press conference.
After seeing Tony leave, Ron called Jessica and followed along at a leisurely pace.
