Alkali Lake is located in British Columbia, Canada. The reason this Canadian province is called "British" is because this area was once British territory many years ago. After a change, this place finally came under Canadian rule.
However, because this place name has existed for a long time, the name has been retained and continues to this day.
Alkali Lake is located in the northern part of British Columbia and is an artificial reservoir that has existed for decades. Below the reservoir, there is a large dam, hundreds of meters wide, that has always blocked the lake water from flowing down, allowing Alkali Lake to successfully form.
