Chapter 83 - 83

Peter, how's the filming going?"

Ron came up to Peter, who was looking up at the sky, and patted him on the shoulder, asking.

"It's not bad, I've filmed both of those iron guys with the new camera you gave me, Boss, but now they've flown into the sky, so it's hard to film them."

Peter knew the person beside him was Ron. He pointed to the sky and the camera in his hand before speaking to Ron.

"Let me see." Ron smiled and took the camera from Peter's hand.

While Peter was filming, Ron was actually watching from not far away. After seeing Iron Man and Iron Monger fighting all the way into the sky, he came over to Peter, wanting to see how Peter's filming was going.

Seeing the clear footage on the camera, Ron secretly thought that Peter actually had a talent for photography, then handed the camera back to Peter: "Hmm, well done. I'll give you a raise when we get back."

"It's that line again..." Peter rolled his eyes and mumbled after taking the camera.

Ron had told him "well done, raise" countless times, but it had never been carried out, so Peter now automatically ignored the phrase and didn't take it to heart at all.

"Peter, those two iron guys are falling now. Later, you continue filming. Try your best to film what's inside those two iron guys. As long as you film it, it will count as completing an intermediate mission for the Guardians Alliance, with a reward of two thousand US dollars, understood?"

But Ron this time really wanted to give Peter a raise. He pointed to Iron Man and Iron Monger falling from the sky and said to Peter.

"Alright, Boss, just you wait, I'm going to find the best position to prepare for filming, guaranteed to complete the mission!"

As soon as he heard Ron say it was a Guardians Alliance mission reward, Peter immediately got motivated. He grabbed his camera and ran towards where Iron Man and Iron Monger were falling.

A raise was impossible, but Ron always delivered on the Guardians mission rewards, never once deceiving him.

Seeing both iron guys land on the roof of the exhibition hall below Stark Industries, Peter extended countless grappling hooks from his hands, grabbed the outer wall, and with a few flips, climbed onto the roof.

"The performance of this camera Ron gave me is too good. Even at night, it can still film clearly, cool!"

Even though there was still some distance from the two iron guys, Peter still clearly filmed them, exclaiming.

As he filmed, Peter suddenly noticed that both guys had opened their iron helmets, revealing their heads.

"Tony Stark, Obadiah Stane?"

Seeing the faces of the two people inside the armor, Peter gasped in his heart.

He recognized the two people inside the armor; these two guys often appeared on news television, so it was hard for Peter not to know them.

"I didn't expect Tony Stark and Obadiah Stane to fight, and with two iron armors at that. What exactly is going on?"

Peter mumbled, picked up his camera, and filmed Tony Stark and Obadiah Stane along with their iron armors, preparing to see what their battle would turn into next... At this moment on the battlefield, Obadiah had completely taken control of the situation. He looked at Tony, who was almost out of resistance, and raised the small missile mounted on the Iron Monger's arm, firing it at Tony.

"Pepper, press the button quickly, I can't hold on much longer!" Seeing this situation, Tony shouted through the glass towards Pepper downstairs.

The energy of the arc reactor in his chest was running low, and if he continued to fight, he would definitely not be Obadiah's opponent. So Tony thought of a way, wanting to rely on overloading the arc reactor below the exhibition hall to deal with Obadiah.

Below the Stark Industries exhibition hall was a huge arc reactor, which Tony had previously developed based on his father's research. It was an earlier generation of arc reactor technology, hundreds of times larger in volume and energy than the one in his chest, with immense power.

At this moment, he and Obadiah were both on the roof of the exhibition hall. If the large arc reactor below were to overload, it would definitely release a huge electric arc, instantly killing Obadiah, who was wearing the Iron Monger suit.

As for Tony himself, he had already designed a special protective layer inside the Mark III armor that could withstand lightning attacks, and even absorb electric shocks, so in this battle, he was sure to win!

At this moment, Pepper downstairs finally steeled herself and pressed the button, releasing all the energy within the large arc reactor.

The next moment, a dazzling white pillar of light shot directly from the Stark Industries exhibition hall into the sky. After plunging the surrounding area for several kilometers into darkness, it also caused countless lightning bolts to erupt in the New York sky, re-illuminating this darkened area for a few seconds.

Amidst such a massive arc impact, Tony, protected by the special internal layering of the Mark II, did not suffer fatal injuries, merely falling unconscious and collapsing to the side.

But Obadiah was different; he was instantly struck by the arc, immediately lost consciousness, and plummeted downwards, crashing onto the overloaded large arc reactor.

Then, a mushroom cloud directly rose from below, instantly turning the exhibition hall below into ruins.

In the corner, Peter watched all of this unfold with wide eyes. After seeing the explosion, he finally reacted and used his webs to pull Tony Stark, along with his armor, who was above the explosion, to a safe area. After cleaning up his webs, he left the rooftop.

Ron had instructed him not to expose his Spider-Man identity; he was only here as a reporter, not as Spider-Man the rescuer.

Of course, Ron had also told him that if someone was truly in danger, he could intervene, as long as he cleaned up any traces of his involvement.

Peter had originally wanted to save Obadiah, but before his webs could stick, Obadiah directly fell downwards, and then the explosion occurred. Peter had no choice but to save Tony first.

After checking that Tony Stark was still breathing, Peter left the area and went to where Ron's car was parked.

"Is it all over?" Ron asked, seeing Peter return.

"Mmm..." Peter nodded, looking at Ron with admiration, and said, "Boss, you really have foresight. That Tony Stark actually created a powerful iron armor. The red one inside those two iron guys we saw earlier was Tony Stark..."

"Alright, I know, that guy should be fine, right?" Ron interrupted the incessantly talking Peter, asking.

"No, he's still breathing, just unconscious," Peter replied.

"That's good." Ron smiled and started the car, driving away from there.

Tomorrow, after the second news report from the Marvel News Agency comes out, Tony Stark will know what true frustration feels like.
