Chapter 28 - 28

Ron looked at the roaring Hulk, a faint smile gracing his face.

"You're so good at yelling, why don't you keep transforming and getting bigger?"

At this moment, the Hulk was beyond furious, having been controlled by Ron and used as a weapon earlier.

The Hulk had now grown to nearly seven meters tall, his green muscles bulging, looking incredibly ferocious.

However, even though the Hulk was almost eight meters tall, his pants still hadn't ripped—truly the number one divine artifact in Marvel!

"Roar! Hulk is very angry, and the consequences will be severe!!!"

Upon hearing Ron's words, the Hulk roared again in anger, suddenly growing to nearly ten meters tall, and even speaking more clearly.

Strength can overcome skill; the Hulk's power had increased by an unknown number of times. He suddenly spread his hands, breaking free from Ron's telekinetic control and plummeting towards the ground.

Seeing the Hulk break free from his telekinetic control, Ron lost interest in toying with him further. He used more telekinesis to grab the Hulk once more, then used his mental sense to transmit the image of his fiancée, Betty Ross, to the Hulk, hoping to calm him down.

Through the previous experiment, Ron knew that the Hulk's ability to infinitely increase his strength through anger was not a joke. His current strength was not enough to subdue a continuously strengthening Hulk, so it was better to let the guy return to his normal state.

Betty Ross was indeed the Hulk's—no, Bruce Banner's—fiancée. After Ron transmitted Betty Ross's image to the Hulk, the Hulk, influenced by Banner, gradually calmed down.

After some time, the Hulk gradually returned to his initial green giant form of just over three meters tall.

Once the Hulk returned to his three-meter-plus form, Ron no longer bothered with him. In this form, after receiving the antidote from Dr. Samuel Stern, the Hulk could retain most of his consciousness, so Ron didn't need to continue providing mental treatment.

"Hey, Hulk, I saved your fiancée and her dad, and I dealt with your opponent. I think you should thank me!"

Ron flew directly in front of the Hulk, who had calmed down, and said with a smile.

"Roar!"

Seeing Ron, who had played with him for so long, approach, the Hulk roared again, intending to attack Ron, but stopped before he could even extend his hand.

Ron was right; Betty and General Ross were indeed saved by Ron, and Abomination was dead. If he attacked Ron, not only would it be ungrateful, but he couldn't even beat him!

"Hulk… thank you!"

Although the Hulk couldn't speak full sentences yet, he struggled for a moment and finally managed to blurt out a few words.

"Alright, I don't have time to waste with you. Go back on your own!"

Seeing the Hulk's expression, Ron smiled, then directly used telekinesis to toss the Hulk down.

"Goodbye, Hulk."

Watching the rapidly falling Hulk, Ron waved his hand and said goodbye to the Green Giant.

If the storyline returned to its original course, the Hulk would probably wander for two or three years until Loki invaded Earth a few years later, when Black Widow would seek him out, and he would join the Avengers.

Of course, that was for later; it was still early until then… After dealing with the Hulk and Abomination, Ron used telekinesis to carry Abomination and returned to Peter's previous location, picking Peter up with telekinesis as well, then flew towards a certain place.

Mid-flight, Ron also used one of his abilities—a Mental Barrier—to envelop himself, Peter, and Abomination.

The Mental Barrier was one of his mental abilities; it could conceal his aura, making everyone and everything within the barrier invisible.

This invisibility wasn't true invisibility, but rather the formation of a reflective and anti-detection material around them, making them appear invisible and undetectable by human eyes, surveillance, thermal reactions, mental powers, or any other means!

This ability consumed a considerable amount of mental energy, and Ron couldn't use it for extended periods to defend against omnipresent detection.

After flying for a while, Ron arrived at a somewhat secluded warehouse, then set Peter and Abomination down.

He had bought it several months ago to serve as a secret base for his personal experiments or other clandestine activities.

Last time, Ron helped Norman Osborn significantly, and he didn't ask for little in return, with a large sum of money being one of the rewards.

Peter Parker, as expected of someone with spider abilities, was much better now and could move freely.

"Ron, I think you've become famous! I'm sure tomorrow's headlines will all be about the superhero 'Flying Swordsman' making his debut, successfully subduing two ugly and evil monsters, and saving the citizens of New York—it's totally awesome!" He walked around the warehouse, looking at Ron. Once Peter could move freely, his talkative nature resurfaced. He took off his mask and followed beside Ron, chattering incessantly.

Before Ron could answer, Peter pointed to the large warehouse they were in and the Abomination's corpse on the ground, saying, "Ron, I never thought you'd have such a hidden secret base, so cool. But Ron, why did you bring this big monster back? This guy is basically a giant poop monster, it's disgusting…"

Facing Peter's words, Ron sighed helplessly but didn't say anything else to Peter. Instead, he directly used telekinesis to lift Peter onto an experimental stand. Then, Ron picked up a purple potion from nearby and walked in front of Peter.

"Wow, Ron, are you trying to kill me? Don't! I'm your best friend! If I die, you won't have any friends left… Ron, you're not really going to kill me, are you? Alright, if you must, but first, promise me that after I die, you'll take good care of Uncle Ben and Aunt May for me…"

Peter saw Ron approaching him with a purple liquid of unknown composition and started shouting, even adopting some mischievous expressions!

"This is a healing potion; it's just for healing the body!"

Ron became helpless. He explained briefly, then, regardless of Peter's agreement, directly made Peter drink the purple potion!

This purple potion was something Ron had researched himself during this period. It had the effect of healing the body and had already undergone human trials, making it safe for human use.

Things similar to this purple potion were not uncommon in this world; in fact, many had even greater medicinal effects than Ron's purple potion. It wasn't a very complex or dangerous item.

After Peter drank the potion, his body began to recover visibly.

The wounds that were previously open slowly healed, and the damaged tissues within his body received nourishment, gradually becoming full again.

Because Peter's body was inherently very strong, in a short while, Peter felt that his body had completely returned to normal.

Peter even vaguely felt that his body seemed to be slightly stronger than before, although it wasn't obvious, Peter still perceived it!

Peter became excited and started chattering and acting mischievous again.

"Ron, I knew you wouldn't kill me, hehe… Oh, right, Ron, what exactly is that purple potion of yours? I feel like my body is full of strength now, even stronger than usual. This feeling is really good…"

"Oh no, wait, hey, Ron, wait for me! Where are you going? Don't fly! I can't fly! I won't chatter anymore, please take me with you! I still have to celebrate Uncle Ben's birthday…"
