Chapter 20 - 20

Several days passed uneventfully since Peter Parker was rescued by Ron.

As promised that night, Peter did not resume his role as the superhero Spider-Man and quietly focused on his studies at school.

However, Ron still noticed that Peter continued to help people in minor ways during these days, but there were no more thrilling incidents like directly stopping the Vulture, Shocker, and gangsters from fighting that night; it was just small things like helping people get cats down from utility poles.

Ron didn't pay much attention to this; helping others is a good virtue, and if Peter wanted to do it, he could. Anyway, his impulse to change the plot had already subsided, so he didn't need to bother with Peter anymore!

After all, Peter's abilities were not weak, and he was an important figure in this world. As long as he didn't encounter a particularly troublesome opponent, Peter would have a chance to escape safely!

Ron also wasn't interested in the Vulture and his gang from that day. Besides their fight with Peter, they hadn't done anything to provoke Ron, so Ron had no interest in dealing with them.

However, Ron had seen some news about them online these past few days. The news reported that a guy with mechanical wings had suddenly appeared in New York. This guy had fought with a gang, turning the gangsters into corpses before leaving!

Upon seeing this news, Ron recalled information about that gang and found it somewhat interesting.

The gang belonged to a man named Frank D'Amico, who was a notorious drug lord in New York's underworld, controlling most of the city's drug trade and wielding significant power.

Of course, what Ron found interesting wasn't the man himself, but his origins.

Analyzing the information in his memory, Ron concluded that this Frank D'Amico was likely the major drug lord villain from a movie called "Kick-Ass"!

Thinking of this movie, Ron immediately remembered the violent little loli from the film, Mindy, also known as Hit-Girl.

Ron remembered that "Kick-Ass" was about a guy named Dave Lizewski who dreamed of becoming a superhero, and after a series of events, finally became Kick-Ass.

However, although Kick-Ass was the protagonist of the movie, its true protagonist was actually the violent little loli, Hit-Girl!

And strictly speaking, Hit-Girl and Kick-Ass were indeed members of the American comic book world, so it was not surprising to find them in this world of American comic book integration.

Knowing that Hit-Girl and Kick-Ass were also in this American comic book world, Ron didn't pay too much attention.

Although the little loli Hit-Girl was indeed cute in the movie, and Ron also found her very cute, what did that have to do with Ron?

Ron was not some impulsive guy; he only had admiration for the little loli and no other thoughts.

Currently, Ron's mind was solely focused on studying, learning all the information that could help his abilities.

Ever since he gained his mental abilities, Ron discovered that if he mastered all knowledge in physics, mathematics, chemistry, and so on, he could use these things to create powerful weapons.

For example, he could directly manifest the deadliest known element, polonium, to poison enemies, or manifest tritium for nuclear fusion to create explosive energy, using explosions to attack enemies, and so on... Although these methods were not as fast as Ron directly destroying someone's brain with mental power, what if someone had equipment like Magneto's helmet, which could block mental power, or if someone's mental power was also very strong? Then Ron's mental attacks wouldn't be effective against them, would they?

So, during this time, Ron spent every day in the school library, skipping classes and constantly reading books related to physics, mathematics, chemistry, and everything else to supplement his knowledge.

Because his mental power was extremely strong now, Ron understood the meaning of these books in minutes, permanently learning this knowledge as soon as he read them.

In just a few short days, Ron had successfully upgraded from a student with only above-average grades to a top-tier academic ace.

And in a physics exam at school yesterday, Ron directly demonstrated his academic prowess, scoring a perfect score and taking first place, shocking the entire Midtown High School!

However, Ron's classmates certainly didn't believe he could achieve such good results. After all, Ron's previous grades, while decent, were definitely not first-place material. They thought Ron was cheating!

To this, Ron calmly explained, "I didn't do well before simply because I didn't want to study. If I were to study, I could definitely rival a tech genius like Tony Stark!"

This statement immediately shocked everyone present, drawing countless gasps and whispers, with everyone believing Ron was just bragging.

The school, of course, was also very suspicious about this matter, but they handled it well. They directly prepared a dozen different physics re-tests for Ron, placing him in a location where cheating was absolutely impossible to answer the questions, to see if Ron truly had the ability to rank first.

Then, everyone was defeated by Ron with cruel facts.

During these physics re-tests, Ron solved problems as if he were flipping through a book, page after page, without stopping.

When the final results came out, Ron successfully proved that he had indeed not cheated. The scores of the dozen re-tests were exactly the same as the previous exam—all perfect scores.

After this demonstration, although the school and his classmates still felt somewhat suspicious, they didn't say anything more.

At the same time, Ron also realized that merely learning this knowledge was not enough; he also had to personally experiment with these things and witness the effects of this knowledge with his own eyes.

So, Ron went to Norman Osborn's Oscorp Industries and told Norman that he needed a private laboratory to research various things.

Upon hearing Ron's request, Norman didn't even think twice and immediately gave Ron a laboratory!

Ron had helped him so much last time, and he had heard from Harry that Ron was actually an academic ace, which is why he agreed so readily.

Subsequently, Norman Osborn very nervously asked Ron about the side effects of the enhanced human augmentation serum.

Ron didn't know how to explain this matter to Norman Osborn, so to save himself trouble, Ron once again used his mind control ability on Norman Osborn, as well as Dr. Strom, who also knew about this matter, ensuring they would never question Ron about it again.

...After that, time passed bit by bit, and soon, Ron, Peter, and Harry all graduated from Midtown High School.

After graduation, Ron, Peter, and Harry successfully got into Empire State University, the best school in this Marvel world!
