Love is not easy. We have plans for the future, we hope for forever. Nothing is more scary than uncertainties.
Love is a great feeling. It's one of those feelings we never too quick to admit because it's so scary.
I once heard someone say that, "Humans know every emotion or feeling but yet they seem to confuse what love is or don't understand it as much as the other emotions."
I partially agree. I say partially because I think people are just scared because it's not just an emotion or feeling.
When you love someone, you place your trust, love, loyalty and respect on them. You bare not just your heart but also your soul. You strip yourself of your being and show them who you truly are... but the scary part is not necessarily loving a person but rather what that person feels about you.
After showing them perfect imperfections, after sharing your love, pain, happiness and sorrows. You wait and see if they share the same feelings as you. Whether they will accept you for you are and all the scars you carry along with you.
That's the uncertainty. That's the scary part.
I've been scared and uncertain not because I doubt my feelings for but worry on what you will do with all that I have shared with you.
As we continue to grow and strengthen our bond, I have learnt a lot about myself, you and us. What works and doesn't work for us.
Everyday is a new experience and learning curve. I hope to continue to grow with you.
