⚡️Morning After the Doctor's Appointment ☀️🍞💭
The morning light crept softly through the dorm window, casting a warm glow over the tangled sheets and two figures nestled in them. Nova lay half on her side, one hand protectively over her stomach, the other curled into Hope's hoodie. Her brow was furrowed.
Hope, already half-awake, brushed her fingers down Nova's spine. "Still thinking about the doctor?"
Nova let out a low groan, muffled into Hope's chest. "Twins, Hope. Plural. As in two. At the same time."
Hope pressed a kiss into her hair. "I know. And we've got this."
Nova shifted to lie on her back, looking at the ceiling. "Do I have to eat for three now?"
Hope snorted. "Well, one for you, one for each tiny were-baby, and one for emotional stability. So four, probably."
Nova sighed. "Ugh. If I grow a second ass, I'm blaming you."
Hope smiled and kissed her shoulder. "I'll love both your asses equally."
Nova rolled her eyes with a smirk. "Honestly, I shouldn't even be surprised—I'm the youngest of a set of twins. Of course I'd end up cooking two of my own. Thanks, universe."
Hope chuckled, brushing her fingers through Nova's hair. "I guess some things really do run in the family. Guess that means double the adorableness—and double the chaos."
Nova cuddled further into her, her voice low and teasing. "You say that now, but maybe not later."
Hope wrapped her arms around her tighter, pressing a kiss to Nova's temple. "Even if you turn into a cranky, glowing ball of werewolf hormones, I'm still yours. Always."
Hope's Overprotective Energy 🐺💢👀
Walking down the hallway, Hope kept one possessive hand resting on the small of Nova's back or over her stomach. Nova arched a brow at her but didn't pull away.
Students definitely noticed. Whispers trailed behind them.
Nova smirked. "You gonna bare your fangs next time someone blinks at me?"
Hope didn't even blink. "If they breathe wrong, yes."
"Alpha much?" Nova muttered.
Hope just narrowed her eyes at a sophomore who stared a moment too long, and he promptly turned and walked straight into a locker—prompting Nova to blink in surprise before muttering, "You're lucky you're hot and I love you."
Hope froze mid-glare and turned slowly to look at her, a smile creeping across her face.
Nova blinked, realization dawning. Her eyes widened as her cheeks flushed crimson. "Oh my god," she mumbled, flustered. And without another word, she turned on her heel and walked—no, fled—down the hallway, leaving Hope grinning like a lovestruck fool.
Classroom Chaos 📚🎯📱
In Ancient Supernatural History, Nova slouched into her seat. Hope took the one next to her, practically radiating 'Don't mess with her.'
Some student from the back of the class muttered, "So, the baby drama's real, huh?"
Nova didn't even turn around, her tone light but laced with biting sarcasm. "Oh please, keep talking. I live for desperate drama—especially when it's this poorly executed."
Across the room, Isaac leveled a sharp glare at the student, his jaw tight and posture stiff, daring them to say another word.
Hope, however, snapped her head around, her magic flaring just enough that the lights flickered. Nova rested her hand on Hope's thigh, trying to calm her down. When that didn't work, she took one of Hope's hands and placed it on the slight baby bump she had, grounding her with the silent reminder of what truly mattered. Hope's breath hitched slightly, the contact slowing her pulse as she scooted closer to Nova, her hand still resting over the gentle curve of her baby mama's belly, protective instincts settling in like a second skin.
Alaric stood up so fast his chair scraped loudly. "Okay! Let's redirect that energy. Page 213."
Hope's phone buzzed. Caroline: "Control your temper, mama wolf."
She gritted her teeth and typed back: "Trying. But if someone so much as breathes in Nova's direction the wrong way, I'm hexing their ancestors."
Caroline's response came back a second later: "At least try not to kill anyone. And maybe don't stress out your baby mama while you're at it, mama wolf."
Hope huffed softly, still glaring at the screen, her other hand never leaving Nova's baby bump. She leaned slightly into Nova as the brunette rested her head on her shoulder.
"No promises," Hope muttered under her breath, "but for you and our babies, I'll try."
Nova Struggling With Limitations 🤸♀️🧘♀️🍼
Nova stood off to the side of the gym, arms crossed, watching the others train. Her eyes lingered on the sparring matches.
Hope caught her stretching one leg out and rolling her shoulders. "Don't even think about it."
"I'm just standing here," Nova said innocently.
Hope raised a brow.
"Fine," Nova huffed. "But I feel useless. I hate just standing still."
Hope walked over, knelt in front of her, and placed a gentle hand over Nova's belly.
"You're doing the most important thing right now, babygirl, making life. That's not useless."
Nova blinked hard, trying not to tear up. "Damn you and your Disney Channel wisdom."
When Hope walked off to another part of the gym to train, Nova glanced around cautiously. Her eyes drifted to the training mats, and with a mischievous glint, she tiptoed closer. As soon as Hope was out of sight, Nova began stretching, her movements slow and deliberate. She tried mimicking a few light moves, keeping an ear out in case Hope returned, clearly hoping to sneak in a little activity before getting caught.
LTen minutes later, Penelope Park, who had been observing the gym casually, nudged Hope and pointed discreetly toward Nova. Hope turned—and immediately narrowed her eyes. Nova was mid-punch at a padded bag, completely unaware she'd been caught.
Without hesitation, Hope stormed over, scooped Nova up into a full-on princess carry, and began walking out of the gym.
Nova blushed crimson, her expression sheepish as she muttered, "...okay, I deserved that."
Hope quirked a brow, lips twitching into a smirk. "Damn right you did. You're lucky you're cute, troublemaker."
Nova batted her lashes innocently, her voice laced with fake sweetness. "Am I in trouble?"
Hope smirked, tilting her head. "Oh, you're definitely in trouble, little wolf. And don't think those big eyes are getting you out of it. But you keep looking at me like that, and I might forget why I was mad in the first place."
Nova leaned closer, whispering into her ear with a mischievous grin, "If I don't get into trouble... I'll let you do whatever you want in bed."
Hope's breath hitched slightly, her eyes darkening with a mix of amusement and heat. "Now that sounds like a reward worth behaving for," she said, even as a flicker of concern crossed her features. The thought lingered—Nova offering herself like that made something primal in her stir, a temptation she'd gladly indulge in. But beneath the desire, the truth remained: what Nova did was reckless. Hope exhaled slowly, brushing her thumb along Nova's hand on her stomach. "Still... don't think you're getting off that easy. You scared me today, Nova. I need you safe, our babies need you safe. But once I calm down? You're mine."
✨ New Bonds and Shared News 🎉👶💬
Later that evening, Nova and Hope gathered everyone—Beacon Hills pack and Salvatore students alike—in the courtyard.
Hope cleared her throat. "So… surprise again. It's twins."
Dead silence. Then chaos.
Lizzie screamed. "TWINS?! Oh my god, that is iconic!"
Josie laughed, clapping her hands. Penelope raised her brows and gave Nova a knowing look. "You're not growing a baby. You're growing chaos."
Nova deadpanned. "Well, I am the drama."
Lydia and Lizzie immediately started talking about baby showers. "We'll need a color scheme. Oh my god—what if it's one boy and one girl?!"
Nova interjected, "It's too early to know the genders."
Lydia smirked. "We'll know soon enough. Drama and glam—like mother, like babies."
MG and Kaleb pledged themselves as 'cool uncles.'
Alaric started giving a long-winded parenting speech, only to be elbowed mid-sentence by Caroline.
Caroline grinned. "Let them breathe, Ric. She's not due tomorrow."
Derek, standing in the back with arms crossed, shot a lingering glare at Hope. He was still grappling with the reality that his baby sister was going to be a teen mom. But even with his frustration simmering just beneath the surface, his stance made it clear—he would always be on Nova's side.
Nova gave a half-smile and leaned into Hope, a rare moment of peace washing over her.
📝 Glimpse of Trouble 💌😠🌑
Later that night, Hope walked down the hall toward their shared room, only to stop dead.
A piece of paper was taped to the door. Big, black letters.
"Slut of the Supernaturals. Should've kept your legs closed."
Hope's hand curled into a fist, her magic sparking. The door creaked under the pressure of her anger.
Nova stepped out behind her and saw the note.
Hope's eyes were glowing now. "I'm going to find them and—"
Nova reached out and placed a hand over hers. "Hope. Don't."
"I have to—"
Nova's voice was calm but steely. "Don't give them power."
Hope nodded slowly, still vibrating with rage. "They'll regret this."
They both knew who it was. Jed. The coward who tried to smear Nova's name. But most of the school stood with her and the Beacon Hills pack. And no one, no one, messed with a Mikaelson.
Nova looked at the door, then at Hope. "I can handle a few jerks."
Hope wrapped an arm around her, pulling her in close. "Not alone you won't."
They stood there, quiet but united, knowing full well this was just the beginning.
As Nova rested her head on Hope's shoulder, Hope silently vowed to confront Jed and teach him a lesson—on her own terms and without Nova ever knowing.
When they entered their dorm room, Hope pulled Nova protectively into her arms as the girl finally broke down in tears, the weight of the day crashing over her. Hope held her tighter, jaw set, rage burning quietly beneath her skin.
