The following morning, Lily woke up feeling a mix of emotions. She was still trying to process the events of the previous night, and Leo's mysterious behavior of him bringing his girlfriend Chloe over and the stern warning she gave herlast night before she left
"remember that he's mine and mine alone i don't know what you two have with each other but stay away bitch"
Just as she was starting to get out of bed, the door opened and Leo walked in. He was dressed in a crisp, black suit, and his eyes looked cold and detached.
"I trust you slept well," he said, his voice firm but polite.
none of your business if i slept well or not by his presence.
"whatever," Leo said, his eyes narrowing slightly. "I wanted to take a moment to discuss the rules of the house."
Lily's eyes widened slightly as she wondered what he was going to say.
"Rule number one," Leo said, his voice firm. "No invading my privacy. I value my alone time, and I expect you to respect that."
"Rule number two," Leo continued. "Don't get close to me. As you know, I have a girlfriend."
"Rule number three," Leo said, his eyes glinting with amusement. "You will accompany me to all public events as my fiancée, and you will be expected to behave accordingly."
Lily's eyes widened in shock. His fiancée? "you have a girlfriend right, then why make me your fiancée when you cam make her yours forever" Lily said with her sharp mouth
Leo's eyes glinted with amusement. "Yes, Lily. From now on, you will be playing the role of my fiancée and its none of your business on who's my fiancée. You will be by my side at all times, and you will be expected to behave accordingly."
Lily felt a surge of panic. What had she gotten herself into?
"erm for that Rule 3, can you change it...."
"No, and that's final," Leo said, his voice firm.
"And before I forget, there's a charity gala tonight at the Grand Ballroom. It's one of the most prestigious events of the year, and I expect you to make a good impression."
Leo's eyes locked onto hers, his gaze intense. "The maids will be available to help you get ready this afternoon. They'll assist you with your hair, makeup, and wardrobe."
He paused, his voice taking on a slightly softer tone. "And don't worry, I've taken care of everything. Diego, my driver, will pick you up at 7pm sharp. He'll bring you to the gala, and we'll make our entrance together."
Lily felt a flutter in her chest as she processed the information. A charity gala? A driver to pick her up? It all sounded so luxurious and exciting.
At 3pm sharp, the maids came in with all variety of different brands of expensive clothes, shoes, jewelries and purses
As she began to get ready, Lily couldn't help but feel a sense of unease. She was going to be pretending to be Leo's fiancée, and she had no idea how she was going to pull it off.
But as she looked in the mirror, Lily saw a stranger staring back at her. She was dressed in a stunning red gown, her hair was styled perfectly, and her makeup was flawless.
"Wow young madam you look so beautiful and stunning, young master really has a good taste" the two maids dressing her complimented "thank you" she smiled bitterly knowing fully what is at stake. Pretending to be your fiancée like why me.
She looked like a million bucks, and she felt like a completely different person.
As she walked downstairs, Lily saw Leo waiting for her. He was dressed in a tailored black tuxedo, and he looked devastatingly handsome. When he looked up, he was fascinated by her beauty but quickly composed himself and walked up to her and gave a tracking bracelet "this bracelet will alert me when you are in trouble"
the maids around with Mrs Jenkins "wow young master and miss Lily look so good together" one said "yes like they were just made for each other"....
"Shall we?" he said, offering her his arm.
Lily nodded, feeling a sense of trepidation. She had no idea what the night had in store for her, but she was ready to face it head-on.
As they walked into the gala, Lily was immediately struck by the sheer scale of the event. There were hundreds of people milling around, all of them dressed to the nines.
Leo led her through the crowds, introducing her to his business partners and colleagues. Lily smiled and chatted, trying to make a good impression.
But as the night wore on, Lily began to feel a sense of unease. She was pretending to be Leo's fiancée, and she had no idea how long she would have to keep up the charade.
And then, just as she was starting to relax, Lily saw a familiar face across the room. It was her ex-fiancé, Alex, and he looked like he had seen a ghost.
Lily's heart skipped a beat as she realized that her past was about to catch up with her in a big way.
As she turned to face Alex, Lily saw her family standing behind him. Her stepsister, Sophia, looked beautiful in a stunning blue gown, but her expression was cold and distant.
Lily's stepmother, Victoria, looked equally stunning, but her eyes were filled with malice and resentment.
And then, there was her father, the man who had betrayed her and abandoned her when she needed him most.
Lily felt a surge of emotions as she saw her family standing in front of her. She was angry, hurt, and confused, all at the same time.
As the night wore on, Lily knew that she was in for a confrontation that would change everything.
_What a night. Why can't this day ever gey better why_ she said within herself as she fought with her emotions and feeling exhausted already
