Hello everyone. Thank you for choosing The Love We Guarded. The first few chapters or only 1 or 2 chapters might feel a little immature and cliche. Because I wrote these long before and at that time the main lead characters were young.
So after 1 or 2 chapters you will get the mature part of the writing and the characters because at that time Elijah was 29 years old and Nadia was 28 years old. The story has a 7 year leap after their first meeting.
