Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: As the Hokage, Executing a Rogue Ninja Is Only Natural

BOOM!

A shelf filled with formalin solution crashed down, the sound of shattering glassware echoing in a continuous crunch.

A strong chemical smell filled the air as numerous human organs and deformed biological tissues scattered across the floor, some still twitching eerily.

Such a scene would undoubtedly cause physiological discomfort to any onlooker.

Jingu Akira, who had reappeared, was completely unfazed.

Orochimaru, covered in chemical solutions and unknown organs, cared even less.

He tossed his right hand, and pre-prepared smoke bombs exploded in all directions, blanketing the entire laboratory.

Immediately after, his mouth stretched wide open.

Orochimaru-Style Body Replacement Technique!

Two pale white arms quickly extended from his mouth.

Another soaking wet Orochimaru emerged from his abdomen.

Before he could even steady himself.

An almost silent sound of something cutting through the air came at him again.

Puchi! Puchi! Puchi!

Orochimaru had no time to dodge, and his body was once again riddled with holes.

A familiar move, a familiar outcome.

As Orochimaru was sent flying backward, he calmly looked down at the familiar black rods embedded in his body and quickly analyzed the situation:

"An attack invisible to the naked eye."

"Is it like the Flying Thunder God Technique, appearing on me instantly? No, there's kinetic energy that pierces the skin and enters the body."

"Invisibility like the Transparency Jutsu? That's not right either, the sound wouldn't disappear."

"..."

"There's one other possibility... shrinking in size."

Orochimaru thought about how Jingu Akira had just suddenly vanished before his eyes, only to reappear again.

He then looked at the black rods stuck in his body.

In just two exchanges, he had deduced the truth behind the ability Jingu Akira was displaying.

However...

"The ability is simple, yet exceptionally terrifying. As expected of the Fourth Hokage."

"Also, he must have some sensory ability, or a way to see through the smoke."

Orochimaru suddenly realized he had no understanding of the Fourth Hokage's strength.

For him to become Hokage, he must have accomplished countless meritorious deeds.

Thus, it could only point to one terrifying reality.

The Fourth Hokage was so powerful that none of his enemies had survived, unable to even send out intelligence before their deaths.

With a "rip" sound.

Orochimaru, with a grave expression, once again emerged from his own abdomen. He clapped his hands together and immediately performed a ninjutsu.

Wind Style: Great Breakthrough!

With a massive consumption of chakra, a wind jutsu comparable to a typhoon howled through the laboratory.

The smoke was blown away.

The black rods secretly flying towards Orochimaru were also blown off course.

Jingu Akira noticed this and was somewhat surprised.

"You figured it out that quickly? As expected of the Cold-Blooded One."

Jingu Akira fixed his gaze on Orochimaru.

BOOM!

A sonic boom erupted.

Jingu Akira instantly teleported to Orochimaru's left side, his whip kick, carrying the force of a thousand jun, sweeping across.

Orochimaru had just raised his arm to block.

Jingu Akira vanished again.

Seeing this, Orochimaru quickly spat out the Kusanagi Sword again, stabbing at the spot where Jingu Akira had disappeared to prevent him from reappearing.

However, the next second.

The Kusanagi Sword in his hand suddenly vanished.

Orochimaru's pupils shrank.

He can shrink his enemy's weapon too?

When Jingu Akira reappeared, there was no longer an obstacle in front of him.

The whip kick swept past Orochimaru's palm.

Extreme power erupted from a single point.

Although Orochimaru's body had been modified for flexibility, he was still powerless against Jingu Akira's kick, which was no less powerful than the monstrous strength of a Senju.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

One thick wall after another collapsed.

Orochimaru, like a cannonball forcibly stuffed into a cannon barrel, flew uncontrollably into the distance amidst the rumbling.

He didn't stop until the ground collapsed and he was sent flying out from within as a black shadow.

Only then did he finally come to a halt.

At this moment, the bright sunlight shone down wantonly, and the fragrance of a hundred flowers vied for attention.

Amidst the scenery of singing birds and fragrant flowers.

Orochimaru spun in the air, about to land.

Swoosh!

A figure flashed over, and five slender fingers clamped around his neck, lifting him into the air.

"It seems you're prepared to die, Orochimaru."

Jingu Akira held Orochimaru with his right hand, his robes fluttering, unstained by a single speck of dust.

Orochimaru did not answer.

At that moment, his gaze was fixed firmly on Jingu Akira's left eye.

It was an eye with a golden base, shaped like the character "米" (rice), surrounded by a border of eight black triangles.

Magnificent, profound, powerful!

Unsurprisingly, Jingu Akira's ability to shrink himself and objects came from this eye.

An unknown Dojutsu?

There had always been legends of the three great Dojutsu in the ninja world.

The Byakugan and Sharingan needed no introduction.

The final one, the Rinnegan, did not look like this.

So...

"What kind of eye is that?"

Orochimaru couldn't help but ask.

The Daikokugan.

One of the Otsutsuki clan's Dojutsu, and also a type of Shinjutsu.

It possessed two abilities: "Sukunahikona" and "Daikokuten."

The former allowed the user to shrink themselves and any object they could see, and also to instantly restore them to their original size.

The latter allowed the user to store the shrunken objects in a separate dimension where time was stopped, and retrieve them freely at any time.

Otsutsuki Shibai possessed the Byakugan, Daikokugan, and Rinnegan.

After Jingu Akira transplanted Otsutsuki Shibai's blood into his body, his left eye awakened the Daikokugan, and his right eye awakened the Byakugan.

As for the Rinnegan.

Because his integration with Otsutsuki Shibai's blood was not yet complete, it had not yet been unlocked.

Even so, Jingu Akira's strength had taken a qualitative leap.

The ninja he once could only look up to was now fleeing pathetically at his hands.

Jingu Akira had no interest in explaining his eyes to his enemy.

However, seeing Orochimaru staring so fervently at his left eye, completely disregarding his own safety.

Jingu Akira thought of something, and his palm suddenly tightened.

Poof!

White smoke rose.

"A Shadow Clone."

He was, after all, one of the battle-hardened Sannin of Konoha.

"The moment he flew out from the ground, he used the dust and smoke to conceal his movements?"

Jingu Akira muttered to himself. His azure-blue right eye turned pure white, then returned to normal.

Swoosh!

He disappeared from his spot.

A few breaths later.

A large cloud of dust rose in the nearby forest.

In another direction.

The Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, rarely seen in his black combat uniform, led a team of Anbu ninjas, heading towards the secret base with a complicated mood.

Noticing the commotion in the distance, he suddenly looked up.

"Orochimaru..."

Hiruzen Sarutobi's gaze sharpened, and he quickened his pace.

...

"Hidden Shadow Snake Hands!"

Orochimaru flicked his sleeve, and multiple large snakes emerged from within, flicking their long tongues as they coiled towards Jingu Akira from all angles.

After doing all this, Orochimaru carefully watched Jingu Akira's left eye.

Seeing that the other party did not shrink the snakes as he had with the Kusanagi Sword, but instead personally dealt with and killed all the snakes he had summoned.

A smile appeared on Orochimaru's lips.

He can only shrink himself and objects; other living beings cannot be shrunk.

This was the flaw in that black and gold eye's ability.

In that case.

Orochimaru suddenly crouched down on the ground, his mouth opening to an exaggeratedly large size.

"Ten Thousand Snakes Formation!"

Tens of thousands of snakes surged madly from Orochimaru's mouth, forming a vast ocean of serpents that rushed towards Jingu Akira.

"A very good response."

"But Orochimaru, you seem to be underestimating the Fourth Hokage."

Jingu Akira had completely immersed himself in the identity of the Fourth Hokage.

He looked in the direction of Orochimaru, who was now obscured by the sea of ten thousand snakes, and his Daikokugan suddenly activated.
