"Oh my God!" Chen Fan screamed. "Ah...!" Lucy, Levy, and Wendy shrieked in fright.
"What's wrong?" Erza asked.
"Xiao Shasha, don't just appear out of nowhere when someone is telling a ghost story. You could scare me to death." Chen Fan complained.
Lucy and Wendy came to their senses. "Brother Chen Fan is so mean, he scared us!"
"Haha, just kidding! I was only telling a ghost story because you looked bored," Chen Fan smiled.
"Haha...! I can't believe you, Chen Fan, got scared of yourself, haha...!" Levy held her stomach, laughing until she cried.
"Levy, you knew it was a ghost story?" Lucy asked, curious.
Levy nodded. Erza said, "Chen Fan tells ghost stories a lot, especially when it's rainy. The weather outside is gloomy right now, too."
"Then why didn't you warn me, Levy?" Lucy protested.
"Because I was also curious what new story Chen Fan had. It's been a long time since I've heard one," Levy smiled.
"You idiot!" Carla said.
"Haha, you were scared too just now!" Chen Fan teased.
"No way!" Carla denied.
"Carla, here's a fish I caught for you," Happy gave her a fish with a ribbon tied around it.
"Do you like it?" Happy asked.
Carla turned her head. "Huh?"
"So you do like it!" Happy said.
"Who would like something from an idiot." Carla jumped off the table and left.
Happy was sad. Chen Fan patted Happy's head. "Come on! I believe in you. Use the move I taught you. If you get a chance, I guarantee you can bring her down."
Happy glanced at Chen Fan. "But you can't even get one for yourself! Puff...!" Then he flew away.
Chen Fan's face turned red. He didn't mind wearing a dress, but he always failed at flirting. It was humiliating. He wrapped his arms around Erza's waist. "Erza, Happy is laughing at me for not being able to find a wife... What if you became my bride? If you agree, I'll buy you a new wedding dress every day."
Erza was about to push him away, but she was surprised to hear the words 'wedding dress'. "A wedding dress...!"
"Erza, don't be fooled. Chen Fan is lying," Lucy reminded her.
"Yes, Sister Erza, Brother Chen Fan is just using a wedding dress to flirt with you," Wendy added.
Chen Fan said to Wendy. "Wendy, why are you being like this? I'm just looking for a sister-in-law for you. Don't you want Erza to be your sister-in-law?"
"Eh...!" Wendy fell silent. Chen Fan's ability to mislead was truly remarkable. He was stealing her main concept.
"I'm going to go look for Carla...!" Wendy ran away.
Erza wouldn't let Chen Fan succeed. She was always wearing her armor. Chen Fan pressed his face against the cold armor. He gave up. Grabbing an umbrella, he went to look for Wendy.
Mira and Elfman were getting ready to leave. Cana saw them. "Mira, you guys are going out in this weather?"
"Yes! I'm going to the church. Come on, Elfman, let's go," Mira called.
Elfman was still advising Jet and Droy, who had failed a mission. Luckily, Levy was helping them.
"Where are you going, Miss Mira?"
"Lisanna's death anniversary is coming up soon," Cana said, her smile gone.
Lucy was confused. "Lisanna?"
"She's Mira and Elfman's sister. She died two years ago. Lisanna was very close to both Chen Fan and Natsu," Levy explained.
"Natsu used to be close with another girl," Lucy said.
"Lucy, are you jealous?" Levy teased.
Lucy was shocked. "No way!"
Levy moved closer, nudging her shoulder. "Oh...! Then why weren't you surprised when I said Chen Fan and Lisanna were close?"
"Isn't Chen Fan close with all the women in Fairy Tail?" Lucy asked in return.
Levy blushed. "No way! Chen Fan is actually incredibly loyal."
"What? Chen Fan is loyal!" Lucy shouted in disbelief.
