After Angel fled, Chen Fan walked leisurely, as if he were enjoying a quiet evening stroll. He wasn't tense at all. 'There's no point in worrying about something as trivial as the Six Demon Generals,' he thought. He had a hidden motive: to let his friends experience failure so they could learn and grow. The constant crises he solved had made them too reliant on him. Because of that, he decided to step back after this mission was complete and prepare to take over the Master's position.
He looked up at the sun, letting out a sigh. 'How many people in this world can stare at the sun without getting hurt? Maybe I'm just lonely,' he thought, as if there was an unreachable emptiness within him.
Meanwhile, in the distance, the battle had already begun. The coalition force faced off against the Six Demon Generals.
Natsu and Gray rushed forward, but suddenly one of the generals, Racer, appeared between them. He was incredibly fast. Natsu and Gray only had time to parry before they were hit by a powerful kick that sent them flying.
On the other side, Lyon and Sherry also moved, but were stopped by Hoteye, a tall man who looked like a priest. He held a magic book.
"See? Even without love, having money is enough, right?" Hoteye said with a sparkling golden eye. He waved his hand, and the ground under Lyon and Sherry became soft, like quicksand. Their bodies began to sink slowly.
"What's happening?! This ground..." Lyon shouted in surprise, trying to free himself.
"Love is more important, isn't it, Mr. Lyon?" Sherry still managed to flirt in the middle of a critical moment.
The three Blue Pegasus men also attacked, but Racer defeated them one by one with unexpected speed. They were immediately knocked out, lying helpless on the ground.
Erza couldn't hold back. She leaped into the air, yelling, "Requip! Armadura Fairy!" Her beautiful armor appeared.
"Dance, Blades!" Flying swords appeared around her, pointing toward Cobra, a Poison Dragon Slayer from the Six Demon Generals. Erza swung her sword, and all the flying swords surged toward Cobra.
"I hear you," Cobra said calmly.
He moved slightly, avoiding all of Erza's attacks, and the swords were embedded in the ground behind him.
"What?!" Erza exclaimed. "My movements were read?"
Suddenly, Racer appeared behind Erza and kicked her. Erza was aware of it, but only had time to parry with her sword.
Erza yelled again, "Requip! Flight Armor!" She swung her twin swords at Racer at high speed, but Racer avoided all of them. "So fast!" Racer taunted.
Erza swung her swords even faster. Suddenly, a voice interrupted, "I hear you. Your next step." A foot struck Erza's stomach.
Erza fell to the side, holding her stomach. 'I was really read,' she thought.
Cobra approached. "Read? That's not it. I told you I heard it," he said.
Natsu got up, seeing his friends in trouble, and he was enraged. "Fire Dragon's Roar!" A fiery serpent rushed toward Midnight, but the fire strangely veered off course, and Midnight was unharmed.
Natsu was stunned. He had seen magic like that before. It was the magic Chen Fan mastered.
"Hey, you woke up, you idiot! Do you know Chen Fan?!" Natsu yelled at Midnight.
Suddenly, Racer's voice was heard in his ear. "Stop. It's very scary to wake someone up in the middle of the night," Racer said, kicking Natsu.
Natsu was hit by a flurry of attacks from all directions; he couldn't land a blow. Gray, who had recovered, was about to use his magic, but another Gray suddenly appeared behind him. "Ice Lancer!" Ice spears brought Gray down.
Lyon and Sherry, who had emerged from the quicksand, also used their magic. "Ice Eagle!"
"Puppet Attack!"
"Money is stronger than love, isn't it?" Hoteye extended his hand, a golden magic circle appeared, and the ground boiled, forming a giant rolling wall of earth.
On the other side, Erza swung her sword at Cobra, but Cobra retreated slowly, rendering all of Erza's attacks useless.
Suddenly, several people attacked Erza, and the venomous snake coiled around Cobra's body bit Erza's shoulder. Erza fell, losing consciousness. Lucy had already been defeated by Angel at the beginning. The entire vanguard force had been annihilated.
Chapter 2: The Arrival of the "Monster"
Brian, the leader of the Six Demon Generals, said, "You bastards, come out together!"
He aimed his skull staff forward, and a purple magic circle appeared. Dark magic elements gathered, forming a storm. The earth trembled.
"Dark Rondo," Brian yelled, pointing his staff to the sky. A magical attack rained down.
Suddenly, a voice was heard, "Rock Iron Wall." The ground in front of the Fairy Tail team came alive, forming a huge wall. It was Jura.
Wendy, who was hiding behind the stone wall, was discovered. Brian waved his hand, and a large magical hand formed, trying to grab Wendy.
"It won't work!" Jura yelled, emitting a pillar of rock toward Brian's hand. Wendy used the opportunity to run.
"Racer, catch that little girl!" Brian yelled.
"Easy," Racer said, rushing toward Wendy. "You can't outrun me, little girl. I'm the fastest in the world!"
