"Ah...! Nothing! Nothing!" Lucy and Happy jumped in fright and quickly replied.
Suddenly, a voice rang out, "Is everyone okay?!" Everyone looked at the source of the voice and saw Natsu, frozen solid, carrying Gray and running over.
"Ah, don't come! Ugh, ugh!" Before he finished speaking, Chen Fan covered his mouth.
"What did you say?! Ah...!"
"Bang!" Natsu and Gray fell.
Chen Fan finally felt satisfied, a smile appearing on his face, which startled Lucy and Happy. But the smile quickly vanished, replaced by an anxious expression. He quickly ran to the edge of the hole and yelled, "Are you two alright?! I'll come save you right away!"
"Who is that loving person?" Lucy mumbled.
"Hey, hey, hey! Who's playing tricks at a time like this?" Natsu said, lying in the big hole.
"It definitely wasn't Lucy," Chen Fan said from the side. "It must be her!"
"It wasn't! It wasn't me!" Lucy argued.
"Hmm?..." Chen Fan turned his head, his eyes becoming dark, baring his teeth, looking very ferocious.
"Aye, I succeeded," Lucy whispered.
The villagers again whispered to the village chief, "Village Chief, are these people really alright?"
"They might be a little problematic," Mocha could no longer guarantee.
"Hey, Chen Fan! Quickly check Gray's body! He's badly hurt!" Natsu yelled from below.
"What?!"
With a "whoosh...", Chen Fan jumped down and carefully examined Gray's injuries. He found that the injuries were only superficial, with no significant internal damage, just severe mental shock.
Without much effort, Chen Fan healed Gray. "It's nothing, don't worry, nothing's wrong," Chen Fan said to Natsu.
"Then why isn't he waking up?"
"He suffered a pretty bad mental shock. He'll be fine in a while. Alright, bring Gray up," Chen Fan continued.
"Oh, hey... the ice on my body is gone! Even fire couldn't melt it, hahaha," Natsu said happily.
"Oh... hehe... it was all part of my battle plan..." Lucy took over, saying very proudly.
"That's probably because the distance from the caster was too great, causing the magic effect to weaken," Baluke said next to Lucy, directly refuting Lucy's words.
It was then that Chen Fan noticed Baluke in his butler's clothes. With a "whoosh...", he appeared next to Baluke and examined him carefully. "Yosh, he's really cute! 95 points!"
"Are you going to punish me?" Baluke's single sentence completely crushed Chen Fan. It was too stimulating. Two streams of blood shot out of his nose, and he passed out.
Lucy asked Happy next to her, "What does 95 points mean?"
"It's Chen Fan's rating of cuteness," Happy informed Lucy.
"Then how many points am I?" Lucy asked, striking a pose.
"Ding, ding!" A notification sound rang out as Happy held up a sign that read '0'.
"You stupid cat!" Lucy pointed her finger and started chasing Happy.
At this moment, Natsu said, "Wait a minute, haven't those guys arrived yet?" Lucy also stopped playing, paused for a moment, and thought. "Speaking of which, they are pretty slow. They should have set off for the village before you, Natsu, and yet you arrived first."
"Yeah, and I even wasted a lot of time," Natsu replied.
Suddenly, Lucy clenched her fist to her chest. "This is an opportunity! Quickly hide the hole!"
"You're still thinking about setting a pit trap?!" They all complained in unison.
Suddenly, a villager pointed to the sky. "What is that?!" Everyone was startled and looked up to see the green rat that Chen Fan and his friends had beaten up, flying in the air, carrying a large iron bucket.
"Coming from the sky, doesn't that make my trap useless?!" Lucy yelled at the rat.
"You're still thinking about the trap!" They were too exasperated to complain further.
A green, tear-like substance fell from the bucket. Lucy, a little dazed, reached out to catch it. Seeing this, Chen Fan immediately pulled Lucy away. With a "hiss...", the hole corroded into the ground.
Lucy only reacted after seeing the corroded hole, and with lingering fear, she said to Chen Fan, "Thank you."
"It's nothing. Since I'm here, I'll definitely be responsible for your safety," Chen Fan said casually, waving his hand. He looked like a reliable older brother, full of responsibility. Lucy couldn't help but stare at him, a little captivated. Compared to his usual 'I-don't-care' attitude, she wondered which was the real Chen Fan.
