On my way to the police station I thought of calling Jessica to come with me if she is feeling better.
We didn't call Each Other since all this started and we could only text each other whenever possible.
She didn't pick up my call rather she declined from the other side .I reached in 20 minutes and I did what Chloé told me to do .
She reached in half an hour and waited for me to finish .
As I was done reciting the whole story,
I broke down and she consoled me.
Then she begins to explain why we are at the police station.
Chloé began :
"As I was studying the paper you gave , I got a call from the police station. I answered the call and asked them to call later on. The next day I called them after ending the conversation with you. There was a mysterious case they had to deal with which I feel strongly connects with your case."
Everybody in the room except Chloé looked completely puzzled.
She continued
"Officer James with the help of the search team found two dead bodies in the abandoned part of the graveyard and they needed me to be here. Two mysteries having no possible relation from anywhere cannot take place in the same city or in the same area .
I had to call you Matilda to show you joining the possible dots which isn't a simple task to explain on a phone call."
They all took me and Chloé to a place where the dead bodies were kept .
The place was cold more like we were in a refrigerator and the two dead bodies were kept in a stretcher with a white cloth covering them,
One of the policemen unveils the white cloth to verify the dead bodies .
One of them was Louisa .
The other one looked more like Jade .I have only seen him in photos and heard from Louisa. It was a shame to see him in such a condition because over time I gained some feelings for him.
I guess I am unlucky in love .
Chloe said,
"if there are two dead bodies that means there are two souls trapped in the room if we look into 'your perspective '."
So I have one more plan after I go to Louisa's place to give her an update .Chloé asked the police man how they knew there were dead bodies in the abandoned area.
One of the policemen ,officer James said,
"It was morning tea break at 9:00 a.m. and a dwarf man entered to inform regarding all this. He said that he saw a man digging the ground while on a walk at 4a.m. and he noticed two dead bodies .
We asked me if he had seen who the person was digging but he replied that he couldn't see him clearly because of the dark. "
And he gave a dagger in the air tight plastic and told her that they found it with the dead bodies
She was impressed and said ,
"thank you officer James! You made my job much easier. "
This all nearly took a day and I went to sleep early at home .
I got up at 2:30 a.m. and headed straight to Louisa's place with the paper and a pen of my own .
sharp 3 a.m. I started writing and updated her and ended the whole incident with,
"is it ok? "
and the reply was ,
"okay".
Then I asked,
"is Jade with you? "
and she replied ,
"yes".
I asked ,
"can you please let him write? I want to ask him something "
and she agreed .
Then I started ,
"I know you do not know me but I know you and I love you. It was a gradual realization. I always imagined you as my husband and felt the red thread in my hand ends with you. I know it's too late to be together in this universe but after reading this ,would you love me?"
I passed the paper and pen and I got the answer after 15 minutes as "Yes" in the most beautiful handwriting ever.
I asked,
"what took you so long? "
and the answer came as,
"thinking "
I was so proud of myself at that moment although fate couldn't bring us together.
