Chapter 159 - HP: What, You-Chapter 159: A Lively Morning

"Bang bang bang!"

"Percy! Wake up!"

"Percy!"

Urgent knocking erupted.

Hearing the familiar voice.

Percy Weasley rubbed his eyes, slowly turned over and got up, walking drowsily toward the dormitory door.

"What's wrong, Forrest?"

"What happened?"

Last night's Gryffindors had been too excited.

As prefect, Percy had spent ages in the common room before finally convincing the little lions back to their dorms.

But it was all futile.

He knew the twins' personalities too well.

So much so that after returning to his dorm, he'd been on edge, terrified of receiving a letter from Professor McGonagall...

As the door opened, an excited figure charged straight in, knocking Percy off balance.

Forrest gripped Percy's shoulders tightly, shaking him vigorously with barely contained excitement.

"They did it!"

"This is insane!"

"Fred and George are gods!"

"And Jordan!!!"

"They took down Gemma Farley last night!"

"Unbelievable!!!"

Incoherent shouts poured out every emotion from his heart.

"Who..."

Percy Weasley froze first.

Then.

Incredible anger spread rapidly in his eyes, his slowly dilating pupils overflowing with shock.

"Gemma Farley!?"

Unlike the little lions who only thought about fun, Percy Weasley's approach was more realistic.

From the moment he entered Hogwarts.

He clearly realized.

He'd eventually have to leave school and enter wizarding society with its complex web of interests.

The pure-blood nobles of the Sacred Twenty-Eight.

The day after leaving Hogwarts, they'd become the upper class of wizarding society, controlling resources ordinary wizards couldn't reach.

Including the Weasley family.

Even though his family was poor.

It was still something ordinary people couldn't match, and other pure-blood nobles had to acknowledge.

But that wasn't nearly enough...

Percy craved more. He wanted to enter true power circles. He wanted voice in the wizarding world. He wanted the Weasley family to rise again!

As a Weasley.

Of course he wouldn't ally with Slytherin, but he absolutely wouldn't offend these people either.

Especially not a Slytherin prefect!

"Oh no, damn it."

"I should never have come back to sleep!"

Percy Weasley covered his slightly dizzy forehead, then pushed Forrest aside without hesitation.

He couldn't be bothered changing clothes. Wearing only rumpled pajamas, he rushed out of the dormitory.

Right now.

He only hoped his brothers hadn't done anything worse to this Slytherin female prefect.

He knew the twins too well!

Inside Gryffindor's common room.

Noisy cheers rose and fell. Gryffindors just waking up joined the celebration after hearing this shocking news.

The Gryffindors who'd gone hunting last night were tossed high in the air and given heroes' titles.

Ron's face flushed with excitement. Harry's glasses went crooked from being squeezed in the crowd.

Only Hermione frowned tightly outside the crowd, looking like she was pondering something.

She'd just learned from Harry.

That she'd apparently appeared in last night's hunting activity and helped Lee Jordan defeat the female prefect.

Though she really wanted Gemma Farley to feel "the weight of knowledge," she was certain she'd stayed in her dorm all night and never went out...

The air filled with jubilant atmosphere. "Woo-hoo" cheers everywhere. Ron was still telling surrounding Gryffindors about last night's battle.

"Stop! Stop!"

"Everyone stop!"

Just then.

Percy Weasley's frantic shouts rang out beyond the crowd, particularly jarring.

The noisy crowd gradually quieted. Everyone turned to look, eyes showing confusion.

Percy pushed through the crowd, looking around.

"George! Fred!"

"Where are you! Come out!"

In the completely silent common room, only his voice continued calling.

Gradually, other Gryffindors also looked around, searching for the twins.

"Has anyone seen them?"

"Yeah, where'd they go?"

"Jordan! Are you here?"

"Philem, did you see them!"

"I think..."

"Haven't seen them since we got back last night. Jordan too. They're not in the dorm."

Seeing Percy look at him.

The Weasley twins' roommate scratched his head in confusion, his voice carrying unease.

"They weren't caught by those snakes, were they?"

Hearing this, the hot-blooded excitement instantly cooled. Everyone looked at each other...

The storm continued.

Rainwater slid down the window frames in winding streams, forming crystal curtains that blurred the distant scenery.

The little Slytherin snakes had slept in for once.

By the time they queued up to reach the Great Hall, quite a few students were already seated at the long tables.

Only the atmosphere was particularly strange.

"Pfft..."

Blaise couldn't help laughing, followed immediately by other Slytherins bursting into unrestrained laughter.

"Did anyone bring a camera?"

Draco laughed until he doubled over.

He turned back toward the queue, but everyone he saw showed regretful expressions.

Only Lisa pulled out her notebook, writing and sketching with burning eyes.

As the Quick-Quotes Quill scratched across paper, her cheeks flushed with strange color.

"Ridiculous..."

Male prefect Burstrode snorted lightly, though the curve of his lips wouldn't go down.

"Actually, no need to leave the underwear."

Tiger shook his head with a smile, stroking Gunpowder's chin as he walked toward the Slytherin table.

This weather was perfect for a bowl of crossing-the-bridge noodles—the spicy hot kind...

Obviously, last night's events had already spread through Slytherin.

Regarding the Weasley Half-Naked Twins standing at the Gryffindor table, embracing steel pipes in intimate slumber.

The little snakes showed no surprise, their mocking, contemptuous discussions rising and falling.

At the same time.

They also noticed female prefect Gemma Farley hanging beneath the window frame, her pose like being bound to a cross, faintly radiating holiness.

Only...

"Is this really okay?"

"Farley?"

Riley Shafiq rubbed her temple, turning to her friend with some helplessness in her eyes.

The Weasley twins' pose was too shameful. First-years from every house still had red faces, not daring to look up while eating.

This was too undignified.

"He said it."

"Put me in a decent pose."

Gemma Farley waved dismissively, walking elegantly toward the Slytherin table.

The damn man rarely had a conscience.

He'd arranged a Chinese breakfast. She didn't want to waste time in this eyesore of a place...

Just as the Slytherins were eating.

The little Gryffindor lions finally charged into the Great Hall in a mass under Percy's leadership.

"George! Fred!"

With Percy's shocked cry, everyone hurried forward to take down the twins standing on the table.

Under Ron's anxious calls, the Weasley twins slowly opened their eyes.

But they didn't scream in panic. Instead, they looked at each other and sighed mournfully.

"Fred, should we explain?"

"George, it's useless..."

The facts were right there.

Rumors couldn't be stopped now. A Gryffindor first-year was even taking photos.

The always well-informed pair could completely imagine that books about them would soon spread through every house...
