Don't talk bullshit. I already knew who are you. You are here to waste my time. I went on to punch this guy in his face with all my anger in my fists. He gripped my wrist . The same comfortable smile was on his face that he had all along the conversation. He kept his hand on my head gently and then there was such a dazzling flash of light that it made me blind for a split moment. I closed my eyes in a desperate attempt to counter the light. When I opened my eyes I found out I was in the battlefield . Still, my friend Ashok was in Nermis's range still his arm lying in the floor. Nermis was ready to rip off his other arm as well, when I heard again the voice of the ghost. "I am your pathway. You are blessed with unrealistic potential.... so do your best my child."
I closed my eye. Focused on my legs and feet . And dashed with my full speed, faster than any other day in my life. And moreover it kept on getting faster And faster with each coming second. I snatched Ashok from Nermis's grip and threw him with my whole strength. He was really wounded I wanted him to stay out of this battle. I threw him much far from Nermis. I was now face to face to him. It was now just me and him. Both our lives are on my shoulder I have to win I cliched my fist. Ragged by breath and there was flames in my eyes. I took a deep breath in and out. Now all i coud hear my was heartbeat it was unbevibly fast and suddenly I lost all my senses.ggggggggg
Point of view shift. Ashok.
I was launched by a person far from the commander. It was Vayu. It really hurt a lot brother. Anyways,
he got face to face to Nermis . He was so unbelivebly fast that he was the first amongst us to land a hit or to even touch the commander. He was successful in landing 5 punches back to back in his abdomen ,so fast that I could barely see it or track it. Everyone in the audience was silent. Silent in astonishment. A pathless 16 year old kid that was about to die landed 5 hits to Nermis. How on hevens was this possible they might be thinking. I cheered to him. "Let's go brother!!!"Nermis began to smile as if nothing has happened. He clenched his fists and punched Vayu hard in his face. Vayu my boy had no impact because of this. He did the same to Nermis. I now believed that both of them were at same level and vayu was putting him a good fight. Now we will be able to stand against this killing machine or maybe by God's will DEFEAT AND KILL THIS PHSYCO MURDERER OF MY FATHER!!!!!!
But...i was wrong
Just when Vayu was about to land a powerful kick on his face, Nermis snatched his leg and hurled him across the battlefield. Then, with a calm smirk, he began to float. Higher and higher he rose, ascending into the sky as the crowd murmured in awe and fear.
But Vayu was no ordinary boy anymore. He pushed himself up in an instant, as if pain no longer touched him. Closing his eyes, he let in a deep breath and then his body too began to rise. Slowly, steadily, he ascended. Higher, higher, until he met Nermis at eye level in the heavens above...
I screamed from below, my voice cracking: "How the hell can you fly?!"
Vayu was not the boy i know from childhood he was a boy that only wanted to live peacefull. I remember one day abou 6 to 7 years old when we were together a group of bullies bullied vayu because of his skinnyness. Vayu showed no responce. They flt ashamed of this and began beating him they all kiked vayu so much that he was lying on floor helpless . I came there at the right moment and punched those boys in thier balls....
I was astonished that vayu was still smilling . As if it was of no impact on him. He had wounds all over his bodies. Blood from his head. "Vayujit?!!...VAYUJIT??!!" i tried to wake him up but he was unconsious. I wasting not another moment took him to the best healer (thats what we call doctor in our village) as soon as possible. When we reached there she was too shocked his 26 bones were broken and also one nerve of an eye was also permanently damaged. That made a crucial blindspot for vayu that he has to carry his all life . When he came back to consiousness. I asked that why did he not fight back or even screamed for help. He replied, "You knoe ashok i hate war or fights. Even if it it call of my death i would not fight. Dont you know how much destruction and sorrow war brings. This earth was also broken into ten along with aur unity just because of a war. There is an acient scripture that in olden timed there were 2 big wars THE WORLD WARS and you must be aware of the aftermath of that." I dint agreed to his philosphy. If humanity was in danger we have to fight i thought he was just making an excuse for beinv lazy or coward. But he was telling the truth this was only the a truth reason.....
This time i see the fire of fighting the flame of fighting for his life in his eyes.... my boy vayujit you have changed alot....
Vayu's eyes opened, his pupils were gone. His hair burned into golden flames, licking wildly against the wind. The same fire wrapped around his fists and legs, and on his chest burned a blazing X of fire that pulsed like a second heartbeat.
Nermis's smirk faded. His tone turned cold, sharp. He was serious, "You are an interesting kid. So don't hold back."
With that, he charged forward.
But Vayu was faster. At the last correct moment, he sidestepped and dodged him, seized Nermis's arm, and braced his feet against his back. With a violent pull, he wrenched the commander's arm back until for the first time Nermis howled in unbearable pain. The unshakable warrior's scream cut through the silence of the crowd.
Just as Vayu was about to tear his arm apart, Nermis twisted free with desperate strength. But my brother was relentless. In a flash, he dashed, clutched Nermis by the head, and slammed him into the ground with a thunderous crash. Dust exploded.
And still, Nermis smiled. His shadowy aura spread as he rose once more.
"You might not be aware, boy," he growled, "but I am a trained Shadow Soldier."
He extended his palm, and the dark mist around him began to swirl. Every ounce of kinetic energy Vayu had poured into him the punches, the throws, the slam was absorbed. The energy coalesced into a blade of black steel, forming his Shadow Sword.
I froze. Shadow Soldiers… They were more than legends. Secretly trained samurai, hidden from the world. Masters of stealth, wielders of their inner energy, turning every strike against their enemies.
Vayu realized it too. His fists, his strength useless. Every blow would only fuel the Shadow Sword further. He needed a weapon.
His own blades were shattered. And then… he turned to me. His voice carried over the battlefield "Ashok! Your sword!"
There was no hesitation. I tore the weapon from its sheath, gripped it with my left hand, and hurled it with every ounce of strength I had. The sword spiraled, glinting under the flames of battle, before landing before him.
The moment Vayu seized it, golden fire erupted across its length. The blazing X on his chest faded, collapsing into the sword's hilt, merging with the blade until it radiated like a divine weapon.
Now he stood, weapon in hand, fire roaring brighter than ever.
Nermis raised his Shadow Sword, darkness dripping from it like tar.
Vayu lifted his flaming blade, golden heat scorching the very air.
The world seemed to hold its breath. The audience went silent. The heavens themselves trembled.
And then
They charged
Audience held their breath for the final clash between the two warriors that they knew will not give up till they die
