"Beep beep~!"
A series of crisp beeping sounds echoed as several transforming vehicles rolled onto the table.
"Oh, you're back. How'd it go?"
"Beep beep~!"
All the little cars reported their collected intel back to Kurim.
As Kurim went through the data, his expression kept shifting, which made Dan and Erik on the side a little tense.
"So… what's going on, Mr. Belt?"
Dan asked anxiously.
After sorting through everything, Kurim's face turned serious.
"Dan, Erik, the vampires have taken over a military research base. Everyone there's already been turned. And under the guise of military operations, they've started capturing large numbers of civilians—to sacrifice to the Blood God."
"Bang~!"
Erik slammed his fist hard on the table, eyes burning with fury.
Dan furrowed his brow, rubbing his temples to calm his nerves.
"We can't wait any longer. We have to move now!"
"You're right, Mr. Belt. Time to stir things up again."
Somewhere on the outskirts of New York...
A red and a white car were speeding down the highway, heading straight for the vampire-occupied base.
"Warning. Incoming vehicles detected."
From the watchtower, the lookout spotted the cars and immediately reported it.
"Send a warning. If they don't stop, take them out."
"Copy that."
"Vehicles ahead, listen up! You've entered a restricted military zone! Turn around immediately! I repeat, turn around!"
Inside Dolatron, Dan heard the warning and chuckled.
"Erik, you hear that? They're warning us. After all these fights with vampires, they've actually learned to give warnings."
Erik's voice came through the comms.
"Even though they've been turned into blood thralls, they still retain some of their old thought patterns. But in the end, they're nothing more than puppets."
"I see. Then let's set them free."
"Yeah."
Erik gave a short reply, then opened his weapons panel.
"They're still getting closer!"
The lookout on the tower was shocked to see the two vehicles not only ignore the warning, but speed up.
Inside the command room, an officer checked the monitors. When he saw the red car, his eyes widened in disbelief.
"Quick! Attack! Take them out now! Leave no survivors!"
"Yes, sir!"
The command spread fast, and the whole base jumped into action. Cannons locked onto Dan and Erik.
"Targets locked! Fire!"
"Whoosh~! Whoosh~! Whooosh..."
Several rockets launched, trailing smoke and fire as they flew toward the two cars.
"Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!"
Explosions lit up the area, clouds of black smoke rising in their wake.
"Vroooom~!"
Through the blast zone, two streaks—one red, one white—shot out, racing straight toward the base.
Watching the live feed, the officer panicked and shouted at his troops.
"Keep firing! What the hell are you all doing?! Wipe them out!"
"Yes, sir!"
The order went out again—don't stop until the targets are destroyed.
Every weapon in the base's defense system lit up, focusing all firepower on Dan and Erik.
On his war vehicle, Erik's eyes flashed with killing intent.
"Done playing? My turn."
He hit the launch button.
[Zx Missiles launched!]
A robotic voice announced as two missiles extended from Ixa's sides.
"Boom~!"
The rockets blasted off, howling as they tore through the sky toward the base.
"Warning! Unidentified flying objects approaching! Most likely missiles!"
"Shoot them down! I don't care what they are, just bring them down!"
The officer was baffled. Just two cars… Where the hell did they get rockets?
In the base, every anti-air cannon opened fire instantly. Bullets filled the sky, trying to take out the missiles midair.
"Boom~!"
A lucky shot hit one of the rockets.
"Hit confirmed! Target destroyed!"
"Wait—no! What's that?!"
From the cloud of smoke, another missile burst out.
This was Stark tech—of course it wasn't that easy to deal with. One missile had self-destructed as a decoy, letting the second one break through the defenses.
"BOOM!"
It landed straight in the base, taking out half the defense turrets!
"Report! Half the defense system is down!"
"Damn it!"
The officer slammed the table in frustration.
"Focus fire! Blow their cars to hell!"
"Understood!"
On his vehicle, Erik grinned at the explosion lighting up the enemy base.
"Nice. Let's charge in while we've got momentum!"
Weapon systems activated one after another, and the Stark-designed Ixa unleashed its terrifying firepower.
Blasting their way through, the two of them arrived right outside the base gates.
Inside Dolatron, Dan was sweating like crazy. After what he'd just witnessed, he now fully understood how scary these two battle vehicles were.
"Stark's a total maniac… Who puts this many weapons on a car?!"
"Dan, we're about to breach the base!"
Just as Dan was ranting, Erik reminded him.
"Right. We've put on quite the show—guess it's my turn now."
One hand on the steering wheel, Dan pulled out a gear-changing mini car.
"Tire Koukan!"
Dolatron's cockpit shot upward, the whole car lifted and flipped midair. The parts reassembled—now, Dolatron had transformed into a wild black battle car.
"Not enough! Still not enough!"
Another yellow mini car appeared, and he slotted it into his wristband.
"Tire Koukan! Rumble Dump!"
The wheels swapped out—huge black off-road tires replaced by chunky yellow construction tires. The black body was now covered in thick yellow armor, and a massive drill extended from the front of Dolatron.
"Come on, let's go! My drill's gonna pierce the heavens!"
Dan slammed the gas. The engine roared and Dolatron shot forward.
"BOOM!"
The base's thick walls were nothing. Dolatron tore right through them like paper.
Seeing that, Erik immediately sped up and followed.
